Toward Lions' open question in Lions(1996) concerning the propagation of regularity for density patch, we prove that the boundary regularity of the 3-D density patch persists by time evolution for inhomogeneous incompressible viscous flows, with the initial density given by(1-η)1_(?_0)+ 1_(?_0~c )for some small enough constant η and some W~(k+2p),domain ?_0, p ∈]3, ∞[, and with the initial velocity satisfying some smallness condition and appropriate conormal regularities.  相似文献

In this paper,we prove that a complete n-dimensional Riemannian manifold with n0nnegative kth-Ricci curvature,large volume growth has finite topological type provided that lim{((vol[B(p,r))]/(ω_nr~n)-αM)r(k(n-1))/(k 1)(1-α/2)}<=εfor some constantε>0.We also prove that a complete Riemannian manifold with nonnegative kth-Ricci curvature and under some pinching conditions is diffeomorphic to R~n.  相似文献

In this paper,we shall use Nevanlinna theory of meromorphic functions to investigate the complex oscillation theory of solutions of some higher order linear differential equation.Suppose that A is a transcendental entire function with ρ(A)<1/2.Suppose that k≥2 and f(k)+A(z)f=0 has a solution f with λ(f)<ρ(A),and suppose that A1=A+h,where h≡0 is an entire function with ρ(h)<ρ(A).Then g(k)+A1(z)g=0 does not have a solution g with λ(g)<∞.  相似文献

We describe all the left cells and two-sided cells of the weighted Coxeter group(W,S,L) that have non-empty intersection with W_J,where the weight function L of(W, S) is in one of the following cases:(i) max{L(s) | s ∈J} min{L(t)|t∈I};(ii) min{L(s)|s ∈J} ≥L(w_0);(iii) there exists some t ∈ I satisfying L(t) L(s) for any s ∈I-{t} and L takes a constant value L_J on J with L_J in some subintervals of [1, L(w_0)-1]. We study the existence of multiple positive solutions for a Neumann problem with singular φ-Laplacian{-(φ(u′))′= λf(u), x ∈(0, 1),u′(0) = 0 = u′(1),where λ is a positive parameter, φ(s) =s/(1-s~2)~(1/2), f ∈ C~1([0, ∞), R), f′(u) 0 for u 0, and for some 0 β θ such that f(u) 0 for u ∈ [0, β)(semipositone) and f(u) 0 for u β.Under some suitable assumptions, we obtain the existence of multiple positive solutions of the above problem by using the quadrature technique. Further, if f ∈ C~2([0, β) ∪(β, ∞), R),f′′(u) ≥ 0 for u ∈ [0, β) and f′′(u) ≤ 0 for u ∈(β, ∞), then there exist exactly 2 n + 1 positive solutions for some interval of λ, which is dependent on n and θ. In this paper, the authors first consider the global well-posedness of 3-D Boussinesq system, which has variable kinematic viscosity yet without thermal conductivity and buoyancy force, provided that the viscosity coefficient is sufficiently close to some positive constant in L∞and the initial velocity is small enough in B_(3,1)~0(R~3). With some thermal conductivity in the temperature equation and with linear buoyancy force θe3 on the velocity equation in the Boussinesq system, the authors also prove the global well-posedness of such system with initial temperature and initial velocity being sufficiently small in L~1(R~3)and B_(3,1)~0(R~3) respectively.  相似文献

L_1, L_2, L_3, L_4 are four characteristics with the slopes -H_2(x)/H_1(y), H_2(x)/H_1(y),-H_2(x)/H_1(y), H_2(x)/H_1(y)(H_1(y)=|k_1(y)|~(1/2), H_2(x)=|K_2(x)|~(1/2) in {y<0}) passing through the points z=x iy=-1,0,0,1 respectively. And the boundary condition possesses the form 1/2 u/v=1/H(x,y)Re[λuz]=r(z), z∈Γ∪L_1∪L_4, Im[λ(z)uz]|_(z=z_l)=b_l, l=1,2, u(-1)=b_0, u(1)=b_3, in which z_1, z_2 are the intersection points of L_1, L_2, L_3, L_4 respectively. The above equations can be called the general Chaplygin-Rassias equations, which include the Chaplygin-Rassias equations K_1(y)(M_2(x)u_x)_x M_1(x)(K_2(y)u_y)_y r(x,y)u=f(x,y), in D as their special case. The above boundary value problem includes the Tricomi problem of the Chaplygin equation: K(y)u_(xx) u_(yy)=0 with the boundary condition u(z)=φ(z) onΓ∪L_1∪L_4 as a special case. Firstly some estimates and the existence of solutions of the corresponding boundary value problems for the degenerate elliptic and hyperbolic equations of second order are discussed. Secondly, the solvability of the Tricomi problem, the oblique derivative problem and Frankl problem for the general Chaplygin- Rassias equations are proved. The used method in this paper is different from those in other papers, because the new notations W(z)=W(x iy)=u_z=[H_1(y)u_x-iH_2(x)u_y]/2 in the elliptic domain and W(z)=W(x jy)=u_z=[H_1(y)u_x-jH_2(x)u_y]/2 in the hyperbolic domain are introduced for the first time, such that the second order equations of mixed type can be reduced to the mixed complex equations of first order with singular coefficients. And thirdly, the advantage of complex analytic method is used, otherwise the complex analytic method cannot be applied.  相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring with 1, G an Abelian group, RG the group ring on R and G. In this paper we gave some properties of PF- rings in which f. g. projective modules are free. The Grothendieck groups K0(RG) for some cases are given. In addition, for the ring R with the unimodular column property, we proved the following result: K0(RG) ≈K0(R), hence if R ∈PF, then K0(RG)≈Z .  相似文献

In this work, we investigate the following fourth-order delay differential equation of boundary value problem with p-Laplacian(Φp(u))(t) + a(t)f(t, u(t- τ), u(t)) = 0, 0 t 1;u(0) = u(0) = 0, u(1) = αu(η);u(t) = 0,- τ≤ t ≤ 0.By using Schauder fixed-point theorem, some sufficient conditions are obtained which guarantee the fourth-order delay differential equation of boundary value problem with p-Laplacian has at least one positive solution. Suppose that νω=∏_i~2=1ω_i~(p/pi) and each ω_i is a nonnegative function on Rn. In this paper, we show that under some condition on m, Tm is bounded from L~(p1)(ω_1) × L~(p2)(ω_2) to L~p(ν_ω) if p0 p1, p2 ∞ with 1/p = 1/p1 + 1/p2. Moreover,if p0 2n/s and p1 = p0 or p2 = p0, then Tm is bounded from L~(p1)(ω_1) × L~(p2)(ω_2) to L~(p,∞)(ν_ω). The weighted end-point L log L type estimate and strong estimate for the commutators of Tm are also given. These were done by considering the boundedness of some related multilinear square functions associated with mild regularity kernels and essentially improving some basic lemmas which have been used before.  相似文献
