This paper describes an experimental setup consisting of a drop hammer and a shock tube filled with a liquid, where a shock wave is formed, and results of experiments performed with fully clamped rectangular plates subjected to an impact load of the water shock wave. The results are presented in terms of the central deflection of the plates as a function of the kinetic energy of the drop hammer. The singular value decomposition method is used in conjunction with dimensionless numbers to obtain analytical dependences of the central deflection of the plates on the impact load parameters. 相似文献

应用一种边界元方法来研究内部压力作用下矩形板中源于椭圆孔的分支裂纹。该边界元方法由Crouch与Starfied建立的常位移不连续单元和笔者最近提出的裂尖位移不连续单元构成。在该边界元方法的实施过程中,左、右裂尖位移不连续单元分别置于裂纹的左、右裂尖处,而常位移不连续单元则分布于除了裂尖位移不连续单元占据的位置之外的整个裂纹面及其它边界。本数值结果进一步证实这种数值方法对计算有限大板中复杂裂纹的应力强度因子的有效性,同时该数值结果可以揭示裂纹体几何对应力强度因子的影响。 相似文献

The present investigation deals with the stress distribution in the vicinity of rectangular inserts in finite rectangular plates. This problem is more complex due to the singularities at the corners of the inserts. In this paper, the finite-element technique is used to determine the deformations and, subsequently, the stresses. The paper treats the problem in a generalized form in the sense that the size and orientation of the insert are taken as variables. The finite rectangular plate is subjected to a uniform axial tensile load. The material of the plate and that of the insert are considered to be different. Element selections are made which are optimal with regard to accuracy and computational effort. The local element stresses which generate considerable discontinuity at the element nodes are plotted. Averaging process for the local stress calculations is discussed and these are compared with the results available1 which are obtained by experimental techniques. 相似文献

Exact bending solutions of orthotropic rectangular cantilever thin plates subjected to arbitrary loads are derived by using
a novel double finite integral transform method. Since only the basic elasticity equations for orthotropic thin plates are

为了研究内爆炸薄圆板的失效与作用载荷特性,在双圆筒装置内开展了铝质、钢质薄圆板内爆炸实验,分析了圆板破坏模式及比冲量载荷特性,并基于相同变形下载荷相等原理,得到了钢质圆板极限变形下的有效比冲量及作用时间,提出了该工况下圆板变形的预估模型。结果表明:在内爆炸载荷作用下,薄圆板的夹持边界和几何中心是应力集中区,产生了塑性大变形、拉伸撕裂、剪切断裂3种破坏模式;圆板的比冲量载荷由初始的波浪式增长逐渐转化为线性增长,30~80 g某温压装药使1 mm厚钢质圆板产生极限变形的有效比冲量作用时间在2.26~2.93 ms之间,经验证,圆钢板变形预估模型得到的装药质量与实验装药质量偏差小于13.3%。

The dynamic response of orthotropic sandwich composite plates impacted by time-dependent external blast pulses is studied by use of numerical techniques. The theory is based on classical sandwich plate theory including the large deformation effects, such as geometric non-linearities, in-plane stiffness and inertias, and shear deformation. The equations of motion for the plate are derived by the use of the virtual work principle. Approximate solutions are assumed for the space domain and substituted into the equations of motion. Then the Galerkin Method is used to obtain the non-linear differential equations in the time domain. The finite difference method is applied to solve the system of coupled non-linear equations. The results of theoretical analyses are obtained and compared with ANSYS results. Effects of the face sheet number, as well as those related to the ply-thickness, core thickness, geometrical non-linearities, and of the aspect ratio are investigated. Detailed analyses of the influence of different type of pressure pulses on dynamic response are carried out. 相似文献

Summary Thick rectangular plates are investigated using the method of initial functions proposed by Vlasov. The governing equations are derived from the three-dimensional elasticity equations using a MacLaurin series approach. As the governing equations can be obtained in the form of series, approximate theories of any desired order can be constructed easily by proper truncation. An exact solution is obtained for an allround simply supported thick plate using a Navier type solution. A Levy type solution for higher order theories is illustrated for the case of a thick plate with two opposite edges simply supported and other two edges clamped. Numerical results obtained are compared with those of classical, Reissner and Srinivas et al. solutions.
Übersicht Mit Hilfe der Methode der Initial-Funktionen von Vlasov werden rechteckige Platten untersucht. Die zugehörigen Gleichungen werden aus den Gleichungen für das dreidimensionale Problem durch eine Entwicklung in MacLaurin-Reihen gewonnen. Durch Abbrechen dieser Reihen können Näherungen beliebiger Ordnung erhalten werden. Für den Fall einer allseitig einfach gelagerten dicken Platte wird eine exakte Lösung erhalten, bei der eine Lösung vom Navier-Typ verwendet wird. Eine Lösung vom Levy-Typ höherer Ordnung wird am Beispiel einer dicken Platte abgeleitet, von der zwei gegenüberliegende Ecken einfach gelagert, die anderen fest eingespannt sind. Die numerischen Ergebnisse werden mit den klassischen, von Reissner, Srinivas u. a. erhaltenen Resultaten verglichen.相似文献

A creep theory is presented to predict deformations at any specified time for a thick-walled cylinder subjected to internal pressure and axial load. The theory is based on the usual assumptions that the deformations are infinitestimal, that the material is incompressible and that the total strain theory is valid. The stress-strain-time relation for the material is assumed to be represented by an isochronous stress-strain diagram which is approximated by an arc hyperbolic sine function. The experimental part of the investigation included tests of thick-walled cylinders made of high-density poly-ethylene whose ratio of outside to inside radii were either 1.5 or 2.0. The test cylinders were either tested as closed-ented cylinders with internal pressure or subjected to a combination of internal pressure and axial load. Also, the application of the theory for varying load conditions was studied. Good agreement was found between theory and experiment. 相似文献

Summary This paper concerns the dynamic behaviour of rigid, perfectly plastic simply supported beams with finite deflections by considering both bending moments and axial forces. In the case of rectangular pressure pulse loading, approximate rigid-plastic theoretical solutions are obtained for both medium load and high load; to this end a parabolic law between bending moment and axial force as yield condition is approximated by a circumscribing or an inscribing rectangle. The concept of Saturation Impulse is put forward for the dynamic response of rigid, perfectly plastic structures with finite deflections subjected to rectangular pressure pulse. The value of dimensionless saturation impulse for both simply supported and fully clamped beams are given.

Übersicht Dieser Artikel behandelt das dynamische Verhalten von starren, ideal-plastischen, einfach gestützten Balken mit endlichen Auslenkungen. Dabei werden sowohl Biegemomente als auch Längskräfte berücksichtigt. Für den Fall einer Last in Form eines rechteckigen Druckimpulses erhält man sowohl für mittlere als auch für hohe Last theoretische Näherungs-lösungen. Zu diesem Zweck wird eine parabolische Fließbedingung zwischen Biegemoment und Axialkraft über ein äußeres und inneres Rechteck angenähert. Der Begriff des Sättigungsimpulses wird im Zusammenhang mit der dynamischen Antwort von starren, ideal-plastischen Strukturen mit endlichen Auslenkungen auf einen rechteckigen Druckimpuls vorgestellt. Der Wert des dimensionslosen Sättigungsimpulses wird für einfach gestützte und für vollständig eingespannte Balken gegeben.相似文献

Based on the nonlinear large deflection equations of von Kármán plates, the lateral pressure is first converted into an initial deflection by Galerkin method, the postbuckling behavior of simply supported rectangular plates under uniaxial compression combined with lateral pressure is then studied applying perturbation method by taking deflection as perturbation parameter.
