In the present paper, we prove a local boundary version of the well-known Rothstein lemma about the meromorphic continuation with respect to one of the complex variables. The statement is simple, and the proof is based on the well-known Hadamard formulas for the radii of meromorphy, on recent results of Imomkulov about the boundary properties of sequences of plurisubharmonic functions, and on the Rothstein lemma.  相似文献

The existence of minimizers is examined for a function defined on a metric space. Theorems are proved that assert the existence of minimizers, and examples of the functions for which these theorems are valid are given. Then, these theorems are applied to proving theorems on fixed points of univalent and multivalued mappings of metric spaces. Finally, coincident points of two mappings are examined.  相似文献

The tethered satellite system is characterized by weak nonlinearities but it practically works in conditions of internal resonance which produces unstable oscillations. The effect of a longitudinal control force is investigated. Since the displacement component in the orbit plane is always present in the motion due to the nonlinear coupling, the control force is assumed depending only on this component and also when a prevailing out-of-plane oscillation is considered. The harmonic balance method and numerical solutions of amplitude modulated equations are used to obtain stationary and nonstationary oscillations, respectively; the Floquet theory is followed in the stability analysis. The assumed control force is shown to be effective in reducing the primary and secondary instability regions of oscillations perturbed by internally resonant disturbance components.  相似文献

A Banach space has the weak fixed point property if its dual space has a weak sequentially compact unit ball and the dual space satisfies the weak uniform Kadec-Klee property; and it has the fixed point property if there exists ε>0 such that, for every infinite subset A of the unit sphere of the dual space, A∪(−A) fails to be (2−ε)-separated. An orbital tether system, including a satellite (a rigid body), an elastic ponderable tether and a terminal load, is investigated. A mathematical model is obtained using Lagrange's equation of the second kind, which enables the plane translational motion of the centres of mass of the elements of the system and the rotational motion of the satellite and the tether to be investigated. It is shown that the equations of motion for the new independent variable, that is, the true anomaly angle, obtained on the assumption that the motion of the centre of mass of the system is independent of the relative motion of its elements, are an extension of the known mathematical models. The effect of the elasticity of the tether on the angular oscillations of the tether and the satellite is investigated. The model constructed can be used both to analyse of the deployment of a tether system as well as to investigate of the combined behaviour of a satellite and a tether about the natural centres of mass.  相似文献

Matrix Schur product is the entry-wise product of matrices of the same size. It was shown by P. Chaisuriya and S.-C. Ong [1] that (forr1) infinite matrices [a jk ] such that [|a jk | r ] B(l 2 form a Banach algebra under the norm [a jk ] r =[|a jk | r ]1/r and the Schur product. In this paper we demonstrate the existence of Banach space duality within the class of these algebras which is analogous to the classical duality between the spaces of compact, trace class, and bounded operators onl 2. The motion of a satellite about its centre of mass in a central Newtonian gravitational field is investigated. The satellite is considered to be a dynamically symmetrical rigid body. It is assumed that the ratio of the polar and equatorial principal central moments of inertia of the satellite is 4/3, or close to this. The orbit of the centre of mass is elliptic, and the orbit eccentricity is assumed to be small. In the limit case, when the orbit of the centre of mass is circular, a steady motion exists (corresponding to relative equilibrium of the satellite in the orbital system of coordinates) in which the axis of dynamic symmetry is directed along the velocity vector of the centre of mass of the satellite; here, the frequencies of the small linear oscillations of the axis of symmetry are equal or close to one another. But in an elliptic orbit of small eccentricity, multiple 1:1:1 resonance occurs in this case, as the oscillation frequencies mentioned are equal or close to the frequency of motion of the centre of mass of the satellite in orbit. The non-linear problem of the existence, bifurcations and stability of periodic motions of the satellite with a period equal to the rotation period of its centre of mass in orbit is investigated.  相似文献

Combining some branches is a typical activity in different fields of science, especially in mathematics. Naturally, it is notable in fixed point theory. Over the past few decades, there have been a lot of activity in fixed point theory and another branches in mathematics such differential equations, geometry and algebraic topology. In 2006, Espinola and Kirk made a useful contribution on combining fixed point theory and graph theory. Recently, Reich and Zaslavski studied a new inexact iterative scheme for fixed points of contractive and nonexpansive multifunctions. In this paper, by using main idea of their work and the idea of combining fixed point theory and graph theory, we present some iterative scheme results for G-contractive and G-nonexpansive mappings on graphs.  相似文献

In a previous paper [4] the present author studied a C mapping where M is an m-dimensional C manifold, I is some interval and for each tI the mapping is an immersion satisfying the following conditions, (i) The Gauss map associated with the immersion is regular. (ii) The Gauss image of the immersed submanifold is fixed against t for each point p of M. Such a mapping was called an admissible deformation.
