The bit-error rate (BER) performance of the spectral amplitude coding-optical code division multiple access (SACOCDMA) system has been investigated by using NAND subtraction detection technique with enhanced double weight (EDW) code. The EDW code is the enhanced version of double weight (DW) code family where the code weight is any odd number and greater than one with ideal cross-correlation. In order to evaluate the performance of the system, we used mathematical analysis extensively along with the simulation experiment. The evaluation results obtained using the NAND subtraction detection technique was compared with those obtained using the complementary detection technique for the same number of active users. The comparison results revealed that the BER performance of the system using NAND subtraction detection technique has greatly been improved as compared to the complementary technique.  相似文献

This paper investigates the performance of vector combinatorial (VC) code for spectral amplitude coding optical code-division multiple-access (SAC-OCDMA) system using a newly proposed subtract exclusive OR detection (SED) technique. VC code is constructed using Euclidean vector and algebraic ways. One of the important properties of this code is that the maximum cross correlation is one, which means that multi-user interference (MUI) and phase induced intensity noise (PIIN) are reduced. The weight for the VC code can be any positive integer number. The system performance was evaluated by comparing the theoretical studies using related equations and simulation results taken from the commercial optical systems, “VPI? TransmissionMaker 7.1”. Significant improvement in system performances has been observed when the proposed SED technique employing VC code was applied compared to other codes that utilize conventional balance detection techniques for spectral amplitude coding.  相似文献

This paper investigates the performance of a spectral amplitude coding (SAC)–OCDMA system design utilizing subcarrier multiplexing techniques for use in the popular fiber-wireless (Fi-Wi) technology. Zero cross correlation code is employed because of its ability to eliminate phase induced intensity noise (PIIN) and the simplicity of using a direct detection technique at the receiving end. The performances are evaluated theoretically to derive the signal-to-noise ratio and results are presented in terms of bit error rates (BER). Results are analyzed to investigate the effect of code weight and variable data rates on the system performance. To validate the results, simulative analysis is also done using Optisys version 6.0. We demonstrated that the ZCC code performed better compared to other code for a BER floor of 10−9 with larger cardinality of subscribers. Results obviously indicate that system performance can be improved with larger code weight. In addition, the choice of lower bit rate is observed to perform better and more suitable for application in this hybrid Fi-Wi network.  相似文献

The attraction towards two-dimensional optical code division multiple access (2D-OCDMA) systems has increased due to its potential in enhancing the performance of optical access networks and producing optical code-based signals. 2D-OCDMA network systems enable better bit-error-ratio (BER) performance as well as increase the number of supportable users in the optical network. Time-spreading wavelength-hopping is one of the many techniques that has been proposed for 2D-OCDMA. In this paper, we present the simulative study of a 2D-OCDMA system. The developed time-spreading, wavelength-hopping network utilizes enhanced double weight (EDW) code which has enhanced properties such as a cross-correlation value of 1 and has a simple encoder/decoder design. The output BER was satisfactory at above 10?9 at data rate of 1.25 Gbps for 20 km distance with the ITU-T G.652 standard single mode optical fiber for 3 users.  相似文献

Abstract

This article presents a new code—the dynamic cyclic shift code—for spectral amplitude coding–optical code division multiple access systems. One of the important properties of the dynamic cyclic shift code is that the number of users can be increased without increasing the weight value. System performance was evaluated by using both theoretical analysis as well as the simulation experiment. The analysis results show that the proposed dynamic cyclic shift code can support more users in spectral amplitude coding–optical code division multiple access systems compared to spectral amplitude coding–optical code division multiple access codes. It was ascertained by performance evaluation that the dynamic cyclic shift code possesses ideal properties for use in spectral amplitude coding–optical code division multiple access systems.  相似文献

In this paper we propose a simple divided spectrum balanced detection (DSBD) for spectral amplitude coding (SAC) optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) systems. SAC OCDMA systems are limited by phase induced intensity noise (PIIN), which is a signal dependent source of noise. Our proposed technique reduces the PIIN by dividing the spectrum of the signal into two or more, and detecting each spectrum by a different photodiode. The DSBD scheme reduces the detected optical power at photodetection, thus resulting in a higher mitigation of the PIIN. Theoretical results show that DSBD demonstrate noticeable improvement over traditional balanced detection technique, for example an up to 33% increase in the number of active users can be achieved, and at least 1 × 10−3 b/s Hz increase in the spectral efficiency is obtained. However, the SDBD is more complex and append more constrains on system components.  相似文献

A zero cross-correlation (ZCC) code is proposed to reduce the impact of system impairment and multiple access interference (MAI) in spectral amplitude coding optical code division multiple access (SAC-OCDMA) system. Bit-error-rate (BER) performance is derived taking into account the effect of some noises. The key to an effective OCDMA system is the choice of efficient address codes with good or almost zero correlation properties for encoding the source. The use of ZCC code can eradicate phase induced intensity noise (PIIN) which will contribute to better BER. Thus, we demonstrate, theoretically, the performance of optical ZCC code. It is shown that optical ZCC code can accommodate more users simultaneously for the typical error rate of optical communication system of 10−9. The result indicates that the established system not only preserves the capability of suppressing MAI, but also improves bit-error-rate performance as compared to the conventional coders.  相似文献

An extended reach 10 Gb/s wavelength division multiplexing passive optical networks (WDM-PONs) system based on reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) is proposed by using power pre-emphasized orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. Experimental results show that the proposed technique can effectively enhance the system performance against the limited bandwidth and chirp induced fading effect from direct modulation of RSOA. The receiver sensitivity is improved by 5 dB at the limit of BER for forward error correction (FEC) code over the 60 km and 85 km fiber transmission without any dispersion compensation module.  相似文献

In this paper, an optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system was analysed to improve the bit error rate (BER) performance at 10 Gbps. The improvements to this system were based on a modified double weight code and a NAND subtraction technique and aimed to support the large number of active users in the fibre-to-the-home network. The system performance was investigated through extensive theoretical and numerical simulation analyses. The theoretical and simulation results revealed that the new detection technique exhibits improved BER performance compared to conventional techniques, such as complimentary subtraction techniques. The system performance was characterised by the signal-to-noise ratio, the bit error rate (BER), and various transmit powers ( $P_{sr} - 10$  dBm). The results show that the proposed system, which is based on a new detection technique, can achieve the optimal BER with a high number of users and maintains the error floor transmission rate $(\le 10^{-9})$ .  相似文献

针对现有量子信息直传协议在有噪音量子信道下传输效率低及可靠性差的问题,提出了一种有效利用纠缠资源的量子安全直传通信方案.通过收发双方共享纠缠粒子作为辅助比特,采用纠缠辅助量子低密度校验码对量子态信息进行前向纠错保护,以提高系统在噪音环境下的传输可靠性.同时采用自动请求重传策略对量子态信息进行检错编码保护,当因窃听或强噪音导致译码获得的信息不正确时,则请求发端对该组信息进行编码重传操作.文中对所选用纠缠辅助量子低密度校验码在量子退极化噪音信道下的迭代译码性能进行了仿真,最后对方案的安全性进行了分析论证.  相似文献

波段筛选方法的选取以及随后的光谱特征波段的提取对高光谱模型效果的影响较大。为了快速准确检测羊肉的pH值,开展并讨论了利用两种特征波段筛选方法对羊肉pH值高光谱模型的影响研究。本研究采用二阶导数(2D)、多元散射校正(MSC)和中心化处理(mean-centering)相结合的方法对所提取纯肌肉部分的代表性光谱进行预处理,利用联合区间偏最小二乘(siPLS)和联合区间偏最小二乘结合遗传算法(siPLS-GA)对全波段473~1000 nm范围光谱进行特征波段的提取,并分别建立相对应特征波段范围羊肉pH的PLS预测模型,同时与全波段的PLS模型效果相比较。结果表明采用siPLS-GA提取的特征波长建立的PLS模型效果最优,其选取的特征波长点数为56,校正集相关系数(Rcal)和均方根误差(RMSEC)分别为0.96和0.043,预测集相关系数(RP)和均方根误差(RMSEP)分别为0.96和0.048。siPLS-GA方法既能够减少建模使用的光谱变量,又可以提高模型精度,因此利用高光谱图像技术结合siPLS-GA可以实现羊肉pH的特征波段筛选和快速准确检测。  相似文献

A hybrid OFDM–IsOWC system incorporating diverse modulation schemes like optical double side band (ODSB), optical tandem side band (OTSB) and optical single side band (OSSB) is carried out to optimize a long reach high speed inter-satellite link (ISL) with acceptable SNR and BER. The proposed system is also reported under the influence of antenna efficiency and pointing error at varied values of power levels. Simulations point toward that the proposed hybrid OFDM–OSSB–IsOWC transmission system promises significantly enhanced ISL link compared to conventional IsOWC systems.  相似文献

20世纪90年代以来,夜视像增强器的研究主要朝着两个方向发展:一是研究对于探测、识别与确认沙漠地带或沙地景物有贡献的蓝光延伸(<550nm)GaAs负电子亲和势(NEA)光阴极,光谱响应向短波长延伸,使光阴极灵敏度、光增益与鉴别率等性能大大优于标准三代管,从而形成“加强三代管”或所谓“四代管”,其探测性能较标准三代管高一倍;二是研究与夜天空辐射较为匹配、对1.06μm激光有较高响应的光阴极,包括研究InGaAs、NEA光阴极(1.0~1.3μm和1.5~2.0μm)和多碱光阴极(1.0~1.1μm)这三类近红外(NIR)像管,可用于主被动夜视。本文综述了这几个方面的进展及其在夜视中的实际应用。  相似文献

提出了一种单模光纤中采用双宽带抽运实现宽带受激布罩渊散射(SBS)慢光的方法.给出了双宽带抽运的SBS慢光及其脉冲展宽的理论模型.色散分析发现,两抽运光间存在一个最佳的频率间隔,可有效地减少由于群速度色散所引起的脉冲展宽.理论计算表明,该方案所获得的SBS增益带宽和信号脉冲群延迟分别提高到了相同条件下单宽带抽运的1.7倍和2倍.  相似文献

A new two-dimensional (2-D) optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) scheme to increase the achievable system capacity is proposed. The code exhibits good cross-correlation property time and wavelength shift. Performances are analyzed on code size and correlation properties affecting two important system parameters, bit error rate (BER) as a function of cardinality generated and optical power transmission requirement. The proposed system can effectively suppress phase-induced intensity noise (PIIN) and has multi-access interference (MAI) cancellation property. Results in a good agreement indicate that 2-D modified double weight (MDW) offers 163.7% and 336.2% larger cardinality compare to 2-D perfect difference code (PDC) and 2-D modified quadratic congruence (MQC) code. By increasing spatial code (N) and keeps similar code length system performance can be further optimized. 2-D MDW (M = 45, N = 18) accommodates 252.2% and 18.3% cardinality increment and low effective transmitted power (Psr) at −17.9 dBm, compare to 2-D MDW (M = 247, N = 3) and (M = 84, N = 9) at 10−9 BER error floor. The architecture of the spectral/spatial MDW OCDMA system with property of MAI cancellation is presented.  相似文献

The dual-microphone voice activity detection (VAD) technique is proposed by applying discriminative weight training to achieve optimal weighting of spatial features available within the dual-microphone VAD. Since the motivation behind our method is to use the relevant spatial information available from the two microphones, we employ the phase difference, coherence, and power level difference ratio (PLDR) as a feature vector, and then use this feature vector to derive the maximum a posteriori (MAP) probabilities. Then, we combine each MAP probability based on a discriminative weight training, i.e., the minimum classification error (MCE) method to offer an optimal VAD decision in a spectral domain, which successfully represents the dynamic evolution of speech over time even in the non-stationary noise environments. The proposed dual-microphone VAD algorithm outperforms conventional dual-microphone VAD methods based on only single feature among the PLDR, phase difference, and spectral coherence.  相似文献

合成了海胆状金银复合纳米材料,并与球形金纳米材料混合作为表面增强拉曼活性基底实现了对水中高环多环芳烃的痕量检测。对海胆状材料进行表征,粒径大小约为300~400 nm,表面有40~100 nm明显的刺状凸起。与球形金溶胶混合后并优化pH值及混合比例等参数,产生了优于球形金溶胶2~3倍的增强效果。利用此增强基底检测了危害严重的高环多环芳烃污染物——芘(四环)、苯并蒽(四环)、苯并芘(五环),得到的光谱数据反映出混合SERS基底有良好的重复性和稳定性,对测得光谱进行特征峰归属分析,固体拉曼光谱与水溶液SERS光谱有确定的对应关系,并且在低浓度范围多环芳烃特征峰峰强与其水溶液浓度有良好的线性关系。经计算,芘(四环)、苯并蒽(四环)、苯并芘(五环)的检测限分别为0.44,2.92和1.64 nmol·L-1。该研究的创新点为合成了海胆金纳米颗粒,与球形金溶胶混合后制成新型高效SERS检测基底;选用自制高效SERS基底,实现了高环PAHs痕量检测。结果表明,利用该方法制备的活性基底,可实现对水中高环多环芳烃的痕量检测,为检测水中高环多环芳烃提供了实验室依据。  相似文献

We propose leveraging one-dimensional expanded Hybrid codes (1-D E-Hybrid codes) for two-code keying (TCK) in spectral amplitude coding (SAC) optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) networks. Compared with the existing work, the proposed system can utilize all codes and provide a larger code size to support more simultaneous users. The numerical results demonstrate that the 1-D E-Hybrid codes for TCK outperform the existing 1-D approaches in terms of bit error rate (BER), and the data transmission rate can achieve 2.5 Gbps.  相似文献

An optical fast frequency modulation code division multiple access communication system is proposed. In this system, an electrically controlled tunable optical filter (TOF) is used to encode the modulated broadband light source. The code depends on the function set to the controller. Two-dimensional code named functional code is also proposed based on a shifted sine function. The function defines the dynamic coding pattern of the central wavelength of the transmitted narrowband optical signal. Thus, the system will allow for an easy reconfiguration of the transmitter without the need for sophisticated encoder. At the receiver, a synchronized TOF with the same function is used as a decoder. The performance of this system is shown to be better compared with a fast frequency hopping and a spectral amplitude coding systems.  相似文献

羊肉挥发性盐基氮的高光谱图像快速检测研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
挥发性盐基氮(TVB-N)通常被作为评价羊肉新鲜度的理化参考指标。为了揭示高光谱图像技术(HSI)快速检测羊肉新鲜度的可行性,采集了71个新鲜度具有代表性的羊肉样品的漫反射高光谱图像(400~1 000 nm),并利用半微量定氮法测定了其挥发性盐基氮(TVB-N)的化学值。选择感兴趣区域(ROIs)提取样品的代表性光谱,采用含量梯度法划分校正集和预测集,比较不同的光谱预处理方法,比较逐步多元线性回归(SMLR)、偏最小二乘(PLSR)和主成分分析(PCR)建模方法,建立并验证了TVB-N的校正模型。结果表明,利用多元散射校正(MSC)、一阶导数、Savitzky-Golay(S-G)平滑及中心化处理结合的预处理方法,PLSR和PCR模型都可以实现对羊肉TVB-N的定量检测。对于建立的PLSR模型,采用的预处理方法为MSC、15点2次S-G平滑、1阶导数和中心化相结合的方法,选择的潜变量因子数为11,获得的校正集的相关系数(R)和校正均方根误差(RMSEC)分别为0.92和3.00 mg·(100 g)-1,预测集的相关系数(r)、预测均方根误差(RMSEP)和相对分析误差(RPD)分别为0.92,3.46 mg·(100 g)-1和2.35。研究表明,高光谱图像技术可用于准确快速地检测分析羊肉中新鲜度关键指标TVB-N的含量。该研究为采用高光谱图像技术进一步分析羊肉新鲜度其他指标、改善TVB-N的建模效果及在实际生产中应用该技术提供了基础。  相似文献
