A ring R is called a left (right) SF-ring if all simple left (right) R-modules are flat. It is known that von Neumann regular rings are left and right SF-rings. In this article, we study the regularity of left SF-rings and we prove the following: 1) if R is a left SF-ring whose all complement left (right) ideals are W-ideals, then R is strongly regular; 2) if R is a left SF-ring whose all maximal essential right ideals are GW-ideals, then R is regular.  相似文献

环R称为左SF-环,如果每个单左R-模是平坦的.众所周知,Von-Neumann正则环是SF-环,但SF-环是否是正则环至今仍是公开问题,本文主要研究左SF-环是正则环的条件,证明了:如果R是左SF-环且R的每个极大左(右)理想是广义弱理想,那么R是强正则环.并且推广了Rege[3]中的相应结果.  相似文献

Abstract

We show that left IF rings (rings such that every injective left module is flat) have certain regular-like properties. For instance, we prove that every left IF reduced ring is strongly regular. We also give characterizations of (left and right) IF rings. In particular, we show that a ring R is IF if and only if every finitely generated left (and right) ideal is the annihilator of a finite subset of R.  相似文献

研究了SF-环与P-内射环的关系,构造了SF-环成为P-内射环的一系列条件.证明了SF-环R只要满足其中之一:R的每个极大左理想是有限生成的;特殊右零化子的降链条件;对R的每个极大左理想M,l(M)在R中是本质的,那么R就是P-内射环.在此基础上,利用一定条件下SF-环的P-内射性,发展了SF-环的若干新结果,这些结果部分地拓展了有关文献中的结果.  相似文献

Abstract

A ring R is (right) strongly prime (SP) if every nonzero two sided ideal contains a finite set whose right annihilator is zero, SP rings have been studied by Handelman and Lawrence who raised the problem of characterizing SP group algebras. They showed that if R is SP and G is torsion free Abelian, then the group ring RG is SP. The aim of this note is to determine some more group rings which are SP.

For a ring R we also define the strongly prime radical s(R). We then show that s(R)G = s(W) for certain classes of groups.  相似文献

A ring R is called left (right) SF-ring if all simple left (right) R-modules are flat. It is proved that R is Von Neumann regular if R is a right SF-ring whoe maximal essential right ideals are ideals. This gives the positive answer to a qestion proposed by R. Yue Chi MIng in 1985, and a counterexample is given to settle the follwoing question in the negative: If R is an ERT ring which is one-sided V-ring, is R a left and right V-ring? 设R是一个环,n是一个正整数.右R-模M称为强n-内射的,如果从任一自由右R-模F的任一n-生成子模到M的同态都可扩张为F到M的同态;右R-模V称为强n-平坦的,如果对于任一自由右R-模F的任一n-生成子模T,自然映射VT→VF是单的;环R称为左强n-凝聚的,如果自由左R-模的n-生成子模是有限表现的;环R称为左n-半遗传的,如果R的每个n-生成左理想是投射的.本文研究了强n-内射模,强n-平坦摸及左强n-凝聚环.通过模的强n-内射性和强n-平坦性概念,作者还给出了强n-凝聚环和n-半遗传环的一些刻画.  相似文献

In this article, we investigate when every simple module has a projective (pre)envelope. It is proven that (1) every simple right R-module has a projective preenvelope if and only if the left annihilator of every maximal right ideal of R is finitely generated; (2) every simple right R-module has an epic projective envelope if and only if R is a right PS ring; (3) Every simple right R-module has a monic projective preenvelope if and only if R is a right Kasch ring and the left annihilator of every maximal right ideal of R is finitely generated.  相似文献

We describe the periodic groups whose endomorphism rings satisfy the annihilator condition for the principal left ideals generated by nilpotent elements. We prove that torsion-free reduced separable, vector, and algebraically compact groups have endomorphism rings with the annihilator condition for the principal left (right) ideals generated by nilpotent elements if and only if these rings are commutative. We show that the almost injective groups (in the sense of Harada) are injective, i.e. divisible.  相似文献

We say a ring R is (centrally) generalized left annihilator of principal ideal is pure (APP) if the left annihilator ? R (Ra) n is (centrally) right s-unital for every element a ∈ R and some positive integer n. The class of generalized left APP-rings includes generalized left (principally) quasi-Baer rings and left APP-rings (and hence left p.q.-Baer rings, right p.q.-Baer rings, and right PP-rings). The class of centrally generalized left APP-rings is closed under finite direct products, full matrix rings, and Morita invariance. The behavior of the (centrally) generalized left APP condition is investigated with respect to various constructions and extensions, and it is used to generalize many results on generalized PP-rings with IFP and semiprime left APP-rings. Moreover, we extend a theorem of Kist for commutative PP rings to centrally generalized left APP rings for which every prime ideal contains a unique minimal prime ideal without using topological arguments. Furthermore, we give a complete characterization of a considerably large family of centrally generalized left APP rings which have a sheaf representation.  相似文献

The property that an ideal whose annihilator is zero contains a regular element is examined from the point of view of constructive mathematics. It is shown that this property holds for finitely presented algebras over discrete fields, and for coherent, Noetherian, strongly discrete rings that contain an infinite field.

A ring R is called right Johns if R is right noetherian and every right ideal of R is a right annihilator. R is called strongly right Johns if the matrix ring M n (R) is right Johns for each integer n ≥ 1. The Faith–Menal conjecture is an open conjecture on QF rings. It says that every strongly right Johns ring is QF. It is proved that the conjecture is true if every closed left ideal of the ring R is finitely generated. This result improves the known result that the conjecture is true if R is a left CS ring.  相似文献

A ring R is called left GP-injective if for any 0 ≠ a ∈ R, there exists n > 0 such that a n  ≠ 0 and a n R = r(l(a n )). It is proved that (1) every right Noetherian left GP-injective ring such that every complement left ideal is a left annihilator is a QF ring, (2) every left GP-injective ring with ACC on left annihilators such that every complement left ideal is a left annihilator is a QF ring, and (3) every left P-injective left CS ring satisfying ACC on essential right ideals is a QF ring. Several well-known results on QF rings are obtained as corollaries.  相似文献
