Lin and Su classified A$ \mathcal{T} $ \mathcal{T} -algebras of real rank zero. This class includes all A$ \mathbb{T} $ \mathbb{T} -algebras of real rank zero as well as many C*-algebras which are not stably finite. An A$ \mathcal{T} $ \mathcal{T} -algebra often becomes an extension of an A$ \mathbb{T} $ \mathbb{T} -algebra by an AF-algebra. In this paper, we show that there is an essential extension of an A$ \mathbb{T} $ \mathbb{T} -algebra by an AF-algebra which is not an A$ \mathcal{T} $ \mathcal{T} -algebra. We describe a characterization of an extension E of an A$ \mathbb{T} $ \mathbb{T} -algebra by an AF-algebra if E is an A$ \mathcal{T} $ \mathcal{T} -algebra.  相似文献

As a generalization of Preston’s kernel normal systems, P\mathcal{P}-kernel normal systems for P\mathcal{P}-inversive semigroups are introduced, and strongly regular P\mathcal{P}-congruences on P\mathcal{P}-inversive semigroups in terms of their P\mathcal{P}-kernel normal systems are characterized. These results generalize the corresponding results for P\mathcal{P}-regular semigroups and P\mathcal{P}-inversive semigroups.  相似文献

We compute the space of Poisson traces on a classical W \mathcal{W} -algebra, i.e., linear functionals invariant under Hamiltonian derivations. Modulo any central character, this space identifies with the top cohomology of the corresponding Springer fiber. As a consequence, we deduce that the zeroth Hochschild homology of the corresponding quantum W \mathcal{W} -algebra modulo a central character identifies with the top cohomology of the corresponding Springer fiber. This implies that the number of irreducible finite-dimensional representations of this algebra is bounded by the dimension of this top cohomology, which was established earlier by C. Dodd using reduction to positive characteristic. Finally, we prove that the entire cohomology of the Springer fiber identifies with the so-called Poisson-de Rham homology (defined previously by the authors) of the centrally reduced classical W \mathcal{W} -algebra.  相似文献

It is proved that an irreducible quasifinite -module is a highest or lowest weight module or a module of the intermediate series; a uniformly bounded indecomposable weight -module is a module of the intermediate series. For a nondegenerate additive subgroup Λ ofF n, whereF is a field of characteristic zero, there is a simple Lie or associative algebraW(Λ,n)(1) spanned by differential operatorsuD 1 m …D 1 m foruF[Γ] (the group algebra), andm i≥0 with , whereD i are degree operators. We present a connection between -algebras and Yangians in the case of gl(N) algebras, as well as for twisted Yangians and super-Yangians. We illustrate this connection, which allows constructing an R-matrix for the -algebras and classifying their finite-dimensional irreducible representations, in the framework of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation in 1+1 dimensions.  相似文献

We prove that C2\mathcal{C}^{2} surface diffeomorphisms have symbolic extensions, i.e. topological extensions which are subshifts over a finite alphabet. Following the strategy of Downarowicz and Maass (Invent. Math. 176:617–636, 2009) we bound the local entropy of ergodic measures in terms of Lyapunov exponents. This is done by reparametrizing Bowen balls by contracting maps in a approach combining hyperbolic theory and Yomdin’s theory.  相似文献

Let $R$ be a ring, and let $(\mathcal{F}, C)$ be a cotorsion theory. In this article, the notion of $\mathcal{F}$-perfect rings is introduced as a nontrial generalization of perfect rings and A-perfect rings. A ring $R$ is said to be right $\mathcal{F}$-perfect if $F$ is projective relative to $R$ for any $F ∈ \mathcal{F}$. We give some characterizations of $\mathcal{F}$-perfect rings. For example, we show that a ring $R$ is right $\mathcal{F}$-perfect if and only if $\mathcal{F}$-covers of finitely generated modules are projective. Moreover, we define $\mathcal{F}$-perfect modules and investigate some properties of them.  相似文献

It is well known that continuous bilinear forms on C(K) × C(K) are 2-dominated. This paper shows that generalizations of this result are not to be expected. In this paper we investigate finite rank operators in the Jacobson radical of Alg( ), where are nests. Strong \(\mathcal {H}\)-tensors play an important role in identifying positive semidefiniteness of even-order real symmetric tensors. We provide several simple practical criteria for identifying strong \(\mathcal {H}\)-tensors. These criteria only depend on the elements of the tensors; therefore, they are easy to be verified. Meanwhile, a sufficient and necessary condition of strong \(\mathcal {H}\)-tensors is obtained. We also propose an algorithm for identifying the strong \(\mathcal {H}\)-tensors based on these criterions. Some numerical results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm.  相似文献

We introduce a planar waveguide of constant width with non-Hermitian -symmetric Robin boundary conditions. We study the spectrum of this system in the regime when the boundary coupling function is a compactly supported perturbation of a homogeneous coupling. We prove that the essential spectrum is positive and independent of such perturbation, and that the residual spectrum is empty. Assuming that the perturbation is small in the supremum norm, we show that it gives rise to real weakly-coupled eigenvalues converging to the threshold of the essential spectrum. We derive sufficient conditions for these eigenvalues to exist or to be absent. Moreover, we construct the leading terms of the asymptotic expansions of these eigenvalues and the associated eigenfunctions.   相似文献

In this paper, the irreducible p, q‐representations of the Lie algebras $\mathcal {G}(0,1)$ and $\mathcal {G}(0,0)$ are discussed. We prove two theorems that classify certain irreducible p, q‐representations of these Lie algebras and construct their one variable models in terms of p, q‐derivative and dilation operators. We show that the principal block O0\mathcal {O}_0 of the BGG category O\mathcal {O} for a semisimple Lie algebra \frak g\frak g acts faithfully on itself via exact endofunctors which preserve tilting modules, via right exact endofunctors which preserve projective modules and via left exact endofunctors which preserve injective modules. The origin of all these functors is tensoring with arbitrary (not necessarily finite-dimensional) modules in the category O\mathcal {O}. We study such functors, describe their adjoints and show that they give rise to a natural (co)monad structure on O0\mathcal {O}_0. Furthermore, all this generalises to parabolic subcategories of O0\mathcal {O}_0. As an example, we present some explicit computations for the algebra \fraksl3\frak{sl}_3.  相似文献
