In this article, an inverse problem of determining an unknown time‐dependent source term of a parabolic equation is considered. We change the inverse problem to a Volterra integral equation of convolution‐type. By using Sinc‐collocation method, the resulting integral equation is replaced by a system of linear algebraic equations. The convergence analysis is included, and it is shown that the error in the approximate solution is bounded in the infinity norm by the condition number and the norm of the inverse of the coefficient matrix multiplied by a factor that decays exponentially with the size of the system. We consider a system of hyperbolic integro-differential equations for SH waves in a visco-elastic porous medium. The inverse problem is to recover a kernel (memory) in the integral term of this system. We reduce this problem to solving a system of integral equations for the unknown functions. We apply the principle of contraction mappings to this system in the space of continuous functions with a weight norm. We prove the global unique solvability of the inverse problem and obtain a stability estimate of a solution of the inverse problem.  相似文献

In this work we consider the inverse elastic scattering problem by an inclusion in two dimensions. The elastic inclusion is placed in an isotropic homogeneous elastic medium. The inverse problem, using the third Betti’s formula (direct method), is equivalent to a system of four integral equations that are non linear with respect to the unknown boundary. Two equations are on the boundary and two on the unit circle where the far-field patterns of the scattered waves lie. We solve iteratively the system of integral equations by linearising only the far-field equations. Numerical results are presented that illustrate the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

We consider a linear integral equation with a hypersingular integral treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value. This equation arises in the solution of the Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplace equation with a representation of a solution in the form of a double-layer potential. We consider the case in which the interior or exterior boundary value problem is solved in a domain; whose boundary is a smooth closed surface, and an integral equation is written out on that surface. For the integral operator in that equation, we suggest quadrature formulas like the method of vortical frames with a regularization, which provides its approximation on the entire surface for the use of a nonstructured partition. We construct a numerical scheme for the integral equation on the basis of suggested quadrature formulas, prove an estimate for the norm of the inverse matrix of the related system of linear equations and the uniform convergence of numerical solutions to the exact solution of the hypersingular integral equation on the grid.  相似文献

We consider a linear integral equation with a supersingular integral treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value, which arises in the solution of the Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplace equation with the representation of the solution in the form of a doublelayer potential. We consider the case in which the exterior boundary value problem is solved outside a plane surface (a screen). For the integral operator in the above-mentioned equation, we suggest quadrature formulas of the vortex loop method with regularization, which provide its approximation on the entire surface when using an unstructured partition. In the problem in question, the derivative of the unknown density of the double-layer potential, as well as the errors of quadrature formulas, has singularities in a neighborhood of the screen edge. We construct a numerical scheme for the integral equation on the basis of the suggested quadrature formulas and prove an estimate for the norm of the inverse matrix of the resulting system of linear equations and the uniform convergence of the numerical solutions to the exact solution of the supersingular integral equation on the grid.  相似文献

The time-dependent system of partial differential equations of the second order describing the electric wave propagation in vertically inhomogeneous electrically and magnetically biaxial anisotropic media is considered. A new analytical method for solving an initial value problem for this system is the main object of the paper. This method consists in the following: the initial value problem is written in terms of Fourier images with respect to lateral space variables, then the resulting problem is reduced to an operator integral equation. After that the operator integral equation is solved by the method of successive approximations. Finally, a solution of the original initial value problem is found by the inverse Fourier transform.  相似文献

We consider an inverse coefficient problem for a linear system of partial differential equations. The values of one solution component on a given curve are used as additional information for determining the unknown coefficient. The proof of the uniqueness of the solution of the inverse problem is based on the analysis of the unique solvability of a homogeneous integral equation of the first kind. The existence of a solution of the inverse problem is proved by reduction to a system of nonlinear integral equations.  相似文献

One proves theorems regarding the estimates of the solutions of systems of linear algebraic equations and inequalities. On the basis of these theorems one suggests a method for estimating the norm of the inverse matrix of a system of difference equations which approximates a boundary-value problem for an integrodifferential equation. The method allows us to eliminate the restrictions which are usually imposed on the coefficients of the integrodifferential equation in order to ensure the diagonal dominance in the system of the difference equations. In this paper, an inverse boundary value problem for a two-dimensional hyperbolic equation with overdetermination conditions is studied. To investigate the solvability of the original problem, we first consider an auxiliary inverse boundary value problem and prove its equivalence to the original problem in a certain sense. We then use the Fourier method to reduce such an equivalent problem to a system of integral equations. Furthermore, we prove the existence and uniqueness theorem for the auxiliary problem by the contraction mappings principle. Based on the equivalency of these problems, the existence and uniqueness theorem for the classical solution of the original inverse problem is proved. Some discussions on the numerical solutions for this inverse problem are presented including some numerical examples.  相似文献

The existence of a unique solution to Maxwell's equations defined in an exterior domain with impedance boundary condition is established for all frequencies. This is accomplished by reducing this problem to that of solving a system of singular integral equations and then regularizing this system such that the Riesz theory is applicable. We also consider the inverse problem in which it is desired to determine the impedance from a knowledge of the far field pattern. By restricting the impedance to lie a priori in a compact set results are obtained on the existence, uniqueness, and stability of the solution to this inverse scattering problem.  相似文献

A solution of the problem of the diffraction of unsteady elastic waves by a thin strip-like delaminated rigid inclusion in an unbounded elastic medium under conditions of planer strain is proposed. We have in mind an inclusion, one side of which is completely bonded with the medium while, the other side is delaminated and conditions of smooth contact are satisfied on it. The method of solution is based on the use of discontinuous solutions of the Lamé equations of motion under conditions of planer strain, which have been constructed earlier in the space of Laplace transforms. As a result, the problem reduces to solving a system of three singular integral equations for the transforms of the unknown discontinuities. The inverse transforms are found by a numerical method, based on the replacement of a Mellin integral by a Fourier series.  相似文献

In this paper, the three‐dimensional initial value problem for elastic system in inhomogeneous orthotropic media is considered and an analytical method is studied to solve this problem. The system is written in terms of Fourier images of displacements with respect to lateral variables. The resulting problem is reduced to integral equations of the Volterra type, whose solution is obtained by the method of successive approximations. Finally, using the real Paley‐Wiener theorem, it is shown that the solution of the initial value problem can be found by the inverse Fourier transform.  相似文献

We consider numerical methods for solving inverse problems that arise in heart electrophysiology. The first inverse problem is the Cauchy problem for the Laplace equation. Its solution algorithm is based on the Tikhonov regularization method and the method of boundary integral equations. The second inverse problem is the problem of finding the discontinuity surface of the coefficient of conductivity of a medium on the basis of the potential and its normal derivative given on the exterior surface. For its numerical solution, we suggest a method based on the method of boundary integral equations and the assumption on a special representation of the unknown surface.  相似文献

The problem of the synthesis of a stratified medium with specified amplitude and phase properties is investigated. The wave propagation in the medium is described by a system of differential equations. The synthesis problem considered in the paper relates to inverse problems of spectral analysis with incomplete spectral information. Using the contour integral method we study properties of spectral characteristics and obtain algorithms for the solution of the synthesis problem for differential equations with singularities.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to developing an original cost-efficient algorithm for solving the inverse problem of finding a variable magnetization in a rectangular parallelepiped. The problem is ill-posed and is described by the integral Fredholm equation. It is shown that after discretization of the area and approximation of the integral operator, this problem is reduced to solving a system of linear algebraic equations with the Toeplitz-block-Toeplitz matrix. We have constructed the memory efficient variant of the stabilized biconjugate gradient method BiCGSTABmem. This optimized algorithm exploits the special structure of the matrix to reduce the memory requirements and computing time. The efficient implementation is developed for multicore CPU and GPU. A series of the model problems with synthetic and real magnetic data are solved. Investigation of efficiency and speedup of parallel algorithm is performed.  相似文献

The article computes the electromagnetic field on the surface of a layered medium with a local nonhomogeneity. The problem is transformed from three- to two-dimensional and the singulari-ties are investigated using the integral equation method. The proposed algorithm efficiently sim-ulates two-dimensional H-polarization fields by solving a system of integral equations.
