Summary We study the relations between the de Rham cohomology class of a closed differential 1-form with Morse singularities on a manifoldM of dimensionn3, and the ergodic properties of the foliationF it defines. We show by examples that, if the fundamental group is large enough, very different behaviours can occur in the same class. In contrast, if the fundamental group admits no surjective homomorphism onto the free group on 3 generators, thenF is always uniquely ergodic provided it has no compact leaf; if the natural homomorphism 1(M)H 1(M,Z)/torsion does not factor through a free group, then the same result is true in almost every cohomology class. We also give results about the existence of noncompact leaves and the number of ergodic measures.  相似文献

In his 1983 paper [3], R. F. Gundy introduced a new functional related to the Littlewood-Paley theory, called thedensity of the area integral. In this paper, we prove that this functional (although highly non-linear) can be expressed as the principal value of an explicit singular integral. This result provides us with a new and precise connection between the density of the area integral and the theory of Calderón-Zygmund operators. It does not seem to be a consequence of the standard Calderón-Zygmund-Cotlar theory, because thesign of a harmonic function in the half-space fails to have, in some appropriate sense, boundary limits.   相似文献

Resumé Cet article contribue à l'étude des 1-formes holomorphes de type courbes généralisées. Nous observons que deux 1-formes de type courbes généralisées ayant les mêmes séparatrices partagent certaines propriétés. Nous en déduisons que dans le cas d'une unique séparatrice, son type topologique est déterminé par ses invariants polaires. Nous commençons donc par étendre la notion d'invariant polaire aux 1-formes holomorphes de type courbes généralisées. Nous étudions ensuite le polygone de Newton d'une 1-forme holomorphe pour mesurer le contact de la séparatrice d'une 1-forme holomorphe de type courbe généralisée avec ses courbes polaires. Nous terminons la preuve par une formule à la Plücker.  相似文献

Let σ be the automorphism of Sp(4,22n+1) so that the set of fixed points is the Suzuki group. We propose in this Note to calculate the irreductible characters of Sp(4,22n+1)?σ, extension of degree two of the symplectic group, and describe two consequences: first, the principal block of the Suzuki group and of this extension are perfectly isometric, and secondly we determine the eigenvalues of Frobenius of the unipotent characters of the Suzuki group.
