In this paper, we introduce and study a hybrid iterative method for finding a common solution of a generalized equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem for a Bregman relatively nonexpansive mapping in reflexive Banach spaces. We prove that the sequences generated by the hybrid iterative algorithm converge strongly to a common solution of these problems. Further, we give some consequences of the main result. Finally, we discuss a numerical example to demonstrate the applicability of the iterative algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme by the viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove a strong convergence theorem which is connected with Combettes and Hirstoaga's result [P.L. Combettes, S.A. Hirstoaga, Equilibrium programming in Hilbert spaces, J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 6 (2005) 117-136] and Wittmann's result [R. Wittmann, Approximation of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, Arch. Math. 58 (1992) 486-491]. Using this result, we obtain two corollaries which improve and extend their results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce two iterative schemes by the general iterative method for finding a common element of the set of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove two strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings to solve a unique solution of the variational inequality which is the optimality condition for the minimization problem. These results extended and improved the corresponding results of Marino and Xu [G. Marino, H.K. Xu, A general iterative method for nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Recently, Ceng, Guu and Yao introduced an iterative scheme by viscosity-like approximation method to approximate the fixed point of nonexpansive mappings and solve some variational inequalities in Hilbert space (see Ceng et al. (2009) [9]). Takahashi and Takahashi proposed an iteration scheme to solve an equilibrium problem and approximate the fixed point of nonexpansive mapping by viscosity approximation method in Hilbert space (see Takahashi and Takahashi (2007) [12]). In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme by viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of an equilibrium problem in a Hilbert space. We analyse a proximal point method for equilibrium problems in Hilbert spaces, improving upon previously known convergence results. We prove global weak convergence of the generated sequence to a solution of the problem, assuming existence of solutions and rather mild monotonicity properties of the bifunction which defines the equilibrium problem, and we establish existence of solutions of the proximal subproblems. We also present a new reformulation of equilibrium problems as variational inequalities ones.  相似文献

In this paper, a new iterative algorithm involving nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert space is proposed and proved to be strongly convergent to a point which is simultaneously a fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and a solution of an equilibrium problem. The results of the paper extend previous results, see, for instance, Takahashi and Takahashi (J Math Anal Appl 331:506–515, 2007), and other results in this field. The paper proposes two new iterative methods for solving pseudomonotone equilibrium problems involving fixed point problems for quasi-\(\phi \)-nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. The proposed algorithms combine the extended extragradient method or the linesearch method with the Halpern iteration. The strong convergence theorems are established under standard assumptions imposed on equilibrium bifunctions and mappings. The results in this paper have generalized and enriched existing algorithms for equilibrium problems in Banach spaces.  相似文献

It is shown that if K is a nonempty, closed, convex, and bounded subset of a uniformly convex Banach space, and if F:K → K is an eventually nonexpansive, commutative, linearly ordered semigroup of mappings, then F has a common fixed point. In this paper, we introduce hybrid pseudoviscosity approximation schemes with strongly positive bounded linear operators for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of common fixed points of infinitely many nonexpansive mappings in the setting of Hilbert spaces. We prove the strong convergence of the sequences generated by our scheme to a solution of an equilibrium problem which is also a common fixed point of infinitely many nonexpansive mappings. Our results can be treated as extension and improvement of the corresponding results appeared in the literature in the recent past.  相似文献
