Investigations of the properties of 153Gd excited states populated in 153Tb decay were continued. The following measurements were performed: coincidence spectra e?γ with L41, K93 + L52, K110, K129 + L87 + L88 and K195 + L152 keV conversion electron lines, angular correlations of high energy γ-cascades going through the 109.7 keV level, delayed e?γ and e?e? coincidence spectra to determine the half-lives of 41.5, 93.3, 109.7, 129.1,183.5, 212.0 and 216.1 keV states, R(135°, ± B) parameters of IPAC for the 102–110 and 83–129 keV cascades using 153Tb sources implanted into Fe foil.A decay scheme of 153Tb containing 50 excited levels is proposed. Their spins, parities, log ?t and, for low-lying levels, also the mean half-lives have been determined. An estimation of the g-factors of the 109.7 and 129.1 keV levels has been given. On the basis of half-lives of investigated states absolute values of reduced γ-transition probabilities for these states have been calculated. The structure of the ground state of 153Gd is discussed.  相似文献

The level scheme of91Nb has been investigated with the reaction90Zr(p, γ)91Nb. Proton energies between 3.0 and 7.2 MeV were used. The γ spectra were taken with Ge(Li) detectors. Primary γ transitions to 36 excited states of91Nb up to 3.8 MeV excitation energy and many secondary γ transitions from the decay of those states were observed, leading to an extension of the known level scheme. The proton binding energy for91Nb was determined as (5167± 5) keV. Eleven γ transitions in90Zr, part of them new, from the competing reaction90Zr(p, p′ γ) were also observed.  相似文献

Extensive γ-γ coincidence measurements have been made on γ rays accompanying theβ ? decay of214Bi using a conventional GeGe coincidence spectrometer. A total of 33 new γ transitions among levels of214Po have been established. Twenty-three previously reported but unplaced transitions have now been assigned in the level scheme. In addition to confirming 56 previously proposed levels, four new levels are established at 1015.05, 1712.98, 3003.5 and 3160.5 keV. Directional correlation measurements have been made on six weak cascades which have the first excited state in common. Mixing ratios have been deduced for the transitions concerned.  相似文献

The excited states of the 72Ge nucleus were investigated in radioactive decay of 72As. Three new transitions with 1996.58, 2125.59 and 2255.49keV have been found for the first time. One γ-ray with 912.09keV has been placed in the decay scheme for the first time, and the placement of 1938.88, 2116.79, 2785.59, 2833.03, 2950.69 and 3338.00keV γ-rays are confirmed again in the present work. One new level at 2027.72keV excitation energy is proposed. The level scheme was established and for a number of levels spin-parity assignments are suggested on the basis of logft values and γ-branching ratios.  相似文献

The low intensity β+/E.C. branches in the decay of45Ti to excited states of45Sc have been reinvestigated in order to resolve discrepancies in reported branching ratios. A new branch to the 974 keV level, having an intensity of 9.9±1.2×10?5/decay has been found. A previously reported branch to the 1237 keV level was found to be in error. The intensities for decay to the levels at 720, 1408 and 1661 keV levels were determined to be 154±12, 90.2±9.7 and 52.5±5.6, respectively, in units of 10?5 per decay.  相似文献

Lifetime measurements of three excited states in100Rh populated by the decay of100Pd have been carried out. A two parameter delayedγ-γ-coincidence experiment using an intrinsic Ge and a plastic scintillation detector resulted in the following values:T 1/2(32.72 keV,100Rh)=(27.6 ±0.6) nsT 1/2(74.8keV,100Rh)=(213.6±2) nsT 1/2(158.8 keV,100Rh)<0.5 ns. For the levels at 32.72 keV and 158.8 keV no former values are known.  相似文献

Using mass-separated and chemically purified samples, the Q-value of 157Tb has been remeasured as 62.9 ± 0.7 keV by determining electron capture ratios. The transition probability to the excited state was found to be (1.1 ± 0.1) × 10?3, with a transition energy of 8.4 ± 0.7 keV for this branch. From the proximity to the 2s binding energy, experiments on the internal bremsstrahlung electron capture seem feasible. The half-life of 157Tb was remeasured as 99 ± 10 y.  相似文献

States of 72As, excited through the 70Ge(α, np) and 72Ge(α, 3np) reactions at Eα = 30 to 55 MeV, were studied. Excitation functions, γ-ray angular distributions, γ-γ coincidences and γ-time distributions with respect to the beam bursts, were determined. Five excited states are identified with levels previously observed with the (p, n) reaction. In addition seven new levels and their decay pattern are incorporated into a level scheme. A half-life of 17 ± 3 nsec was determined for the 309.8 keV state, and evidence for the existence of a long-lived state (>100 nsec) was obtained. A simple scheme based on simple particle shell-model configurations accounts for the gross properties of the low lying levels. While definite spin and parity assignment for the upper excited states require further measurements, tentative spin values up to 7 are obtained.  相似文献

The decay of194Ir has been thoroughly studied resulting in the construction of a decay scheme consisting of 26 excited states and 69 transitions. Nine new levels and 29 new transitions were added to the previously known scheme. Of these, levels at 1,893.6 and 2,053.0 keV as well as 9γ-ray transitions are new to the194Pt level scheme. Preciseγ-ray energy and intensity measurements as well as quantitative coincidence measurements were performed, and the internal conversion spectrum was investigated with a Si(Li) detector. Directional correlation measurements were performed for selected cascades with the major result being the unique assignment of 0+ to the new level at 1,893.6 keV. The structure was interpreted within the framework of the PPQ model as well as the effective-core picture including nuclear triaxiality.  相似文献

The decay of121 g+m In to the excited states of121Sn was investigated.121In was produced by the122Sn(γ,p)121In reaction on an enriched SnO2 target. Strong indications of the isomeric transition of 321 keV to the121In ground state were found. In the beta decay of121m In excited states at 60.1, 908.9, 1101.9, 1120.4, 1403.0, 2864.1, 3119.8 and 3228 keV in121Sn withJ π values 1/2+, 3/2(5/2)+, 3/2+, 5/2+, 5/2+ and 1/2+ or 3/2+ for the three levels around 3 MeV, are fed. In the decay of the121In ground state only the 7/2+ level in121Sn at 925.3 keV is fed.  相似文献

The decay of 26.4-min201Au has been investigated using chemically separated sources and Ge(Li), Si(Li), plastic and Nal(Tl) detectors in different singles and coincidence arrangements. The β-disintegration energy was measured to be 1.27 ± 0.10 MeV. Thirteen γ-rays were observed to belong to this decay and the new levels at 543, 549.2, 552.8, 559.1, 605.7, 645.4, 732 and 1188 keV were established in201Hg, in addition to the three previously known excited states below 200 keV.  相似文献

The γ decay of the resonance-like structure observed in the 26Mg(pγ)27 Al reaction in the energy range E p = 0.8–3.0 MeV of accelerated protons has been investigated. The M1 resonance on the ground and excited states of 27Al with E* = 844 and 1014 keV is identified. The total strength of the M1 resonance on the ground state of this nucleus is determined. The position and total strength of this resonance are explained taking into account pairing forces.  相似文献

The decay of166Yb has been investigated with high-resolution Ge(Li) detectors. The intensity of any γ ray other than that at 82.29 keV is less than 0.3% per decay. The total decay energy was redetermined asQ=215 ?18 +33 keV. An upper limitF w< 150 was determined for the hindrance factor of theF-forbidden 82.29 keV transition.  相似文献

The levels in124Te have been investigated by studying the gamma rays emitted following the decay of 60d124Sb. Gamma-gamma coincidence spectra have been taken with gates set at 603, 646, 709, 714 and 723 keV gamma rays by using 105 cm3 Ge(Li)-110 cm3 HPGe coincidence system. 69 gamma rays have been observed and nine of them are reported for the first time. Four new levels in124Te at 2512, 2550.2, 2808 and 2814.5 keV are proposed. Levels reported in literatures at 2412 and 2733 keV are excluded from the level scheme of124Te based on the present study. The experimentally determined energy spectrum of low-lying positive parity states, B(E2) ratios and electric quadrupole moment of the first excited state are compared with the IBM-1 predictions.  相似文献

The electron-capture decay of228Pa to levels in228Th has been studied using mass-separated sources and high-resolutionγ-ray and conversion-electron spectroscopy. A level at 979.5 keV is assigned as 2+ member of a second excited Kπ=0+ band, with the 0+ band head at 938.6 keV. The 2+ and 3+ members of a second excited Kπ=2+ band at 1153.5 and 1200.5 keV, which decay by strongE0 transitions to the 969 keVγ-vibrational band, are confirmed. In addition we tentatively propose a Kπ=1+ band at 944 keV. The Kπ=0?, 1? and 2? members of the octupole quadruplet are confirmed, and theγ decay of these levels is analysed in an approach, in which the mixing of the octupole bands by the Coriolis interaction is taken into account. It is suggested that octupole correlations might be important for theE1 transition moments. A total of 29 levels is observed between ~1.4 and ~2.0 MeV, for which the nuclear structure, and the possible assignment to rotational bands, is unclear.  相似文献

The decay of Se81 (18 min) produced by neutron bombardement of natural Se and 98% enriched Se81 has been studied with the aid of scintillation-spectrometers. Gamma-rays have been observed and could be identified as belonging to the decay of Se81, revealing three excited levels in Br31 at (282±3) keV, (565±6) keV and (820±10) keV. The branching ratios of the beta-components are 98,7% leading to the ground state and (0,06±0,03)%, (0,85±0,20)% and (0,40±0,10)% leading to the excited states, respectively. The 565 keV-level decays to the ground state directly or by a cascade-transition with nearly equal intensities, the 820 keV-level mainly by a direct transition.  相似文献

Cs129(T1/2=32 h) and Cs130(T1/2=30 min) were produced by J127(α,2n)Cs129and J127(α,n)Cs130reactions, respectively. The γ-ray-spectra from the decays of Cs129 and Cs130 have been investigated using Li-drifted Ge-counters and scintillation spectrometers. In the decay of Cs12915 γ-rays have been observed having the following energies and relative intensities: 95 keV (1.6), 177 keV (1.1), 267 keV (1.7), 278 keV (4.8), 317 keV (7.6), 371 keV (100), 410 keV (69), 511 keV (≦ 0.1), 548 keV (10.5), 587 keV (1.7), 623 keV (0.12), 660 keV (0.07), 864 keV (0.09), 907 keV (0.67) and 948 keV (0.2). The electron capture branching ratios to the ground state and excited states of Xe129were determined; logft values for the various decay branches were derived from these ratios. In the decay of Cs130twoγ-transitions with the following energies and intensities relative to the β+ emission have been found: 535 keV (11) and 585 keV (1.3). A new level at 1122 keV in Xe130is proposed.  相似文献

Low-lying states in 57 128 La and 56 128 Ba have been investigated by γ-ray spectroscopy after the β decays of 58 128 Ce and 57 128 La. For the EC+β+ decay of 128Ce, a new halflife has been determined to be 4.1 ± 0.3 min. In 128La a new β-unstable isomeric state with a halflife shorter than 2 min is suggested in addition to a previously known isomeric state with the halflife of 5.2 min. A tentative level scheme of 128La at low excitation energies has been constructed from the γ?γ coincidence measurement after the β decay of 128Ce. The γ?γ angular correlation for γ rays from 128Ba after the β decay of 128La suggests that the spin-parity assignment of I π = 4? or 5+ is preferable for the 2424.9 keV level which is populated via the β decay of the 5.2-min isomeric state with a log ft value of 5.6. For the 2877.1 keV level observed with log ft = 5.8, a preferable spin-parity assignment is 5? or 6+. On the basis of these decay properties and low-lying excited states in neighboring odd mass nuclei, the spins and parities of isomeric states in 128La are proposed to be (1+ or 2+) for the low-spin state, while (5± or 6+) for the high-spin state, within the limit of zero order approximation to the proton-neutron couplings.  相似文献
