Five different types of the lanthanide sulfate-carboxylates family, [La(2)(SO(4))(Himdc)(2)(H2O)2] , [Gd(2)(SO(4))(2)(Himdc)(H2O)3].H2O , [Ln(2)(SO(4))(2)(Himdc)(H2O)(3)].H2O (Ln = Gd3a, Eu3b), [Eu(6)Cu(SO(4))(6)(Himdc)(4)(H2O)(14)] , and [Ln(Himc)(SO(4))(H2O)] (Ln = Eu5a, Gd5b, Tb5c, Dy5d, Er5e); H(2)imc = 4-imidazolecarboxylic acid, H(3)imdc = 4,5-imidazoledicarboxylic acid) have been obtained by hydrothermal reactions of Ln(2)O(3), transition metal sulfates and H(3)imdc at 170 degrees C and characterized by means of elemental analyses, IR, TG analysis, luminescence spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The 3D structure of 1 is constructed from alternately linkages of organic {La(Himdc)} layers and inorganic {La(2)O(2)(SO(4))} layers, with the La atoms as hinges. 2 and 3a/3b both contain alternately arranged 1D left- and right-handed helical {Ln(imdc)} chains bridged by SO(4)(2-) anions to form a 3D framework with 1D rectangle-like channels along the b axis. The structural differences of 2 and 3a/3b lie in the linkages of the SO(4)(2-) anions. Complex 4 consists of 2D tubular Eu-sulfate layers pillared by {Cu(Himdc)(2)} units to generate a 3D network. Complexes 5a-5e possess 2D bamboo-raft-like layer structures based on helical tubes. Interestingly, H(2)imc comes from the in-situ decarboxylation of H(3)imdc in the hydrothermal reactions. The luminescence properties of the complexes 3a, 4, 5a 5c, 5d were investigated in solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid (H3L) reacts with nitrate salts of lanthanide(III) (Ln=Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, and Er) under hydrothermal conditions to form a series of lanthanide polymers 1-9. These nine polymers have the same crystal system of monoclinic, but they exhibit three different kinds of metal-organic framework structures. The complexes {[Ln2(HL)3(H2O)4].2H2O}n (Ln=Pr (1), Nd (2), and Sm (3)) were isostructural and exhibited porous 3D frameworks with a Cc space group. The complexes {[Ln2(HL)3(H2O)3].3H2O}n (Ln=Eu (4), Gd (5), and Tb (6)) were isostructural and built 2D double-decker (2DD) frameworks with a P21/c space group. The complexes {[Ln(HL)(H2L)(H2O)2]}n ((Ln=Dy (7), Ho (8), and Er (9)) were also isostructural and formed 2D monolayer (2DM) frameworks with a P21/n space group. The structure variation from the 3D porous framework to the 2D double-decker to the 2D monolayer is attributed to the lanthanide contraction effect. Notably, six new coordination modes of 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid were observed, which proved that 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid may be used as an effective bridging ligand to assemble lanthanide-based coordination polymers. The photophysical and magnetic properties have also been investigated.  相似文献

The reaction of a double-betaine-containing ligand with LnPMo(12)O(40)·nH(2)O (Ln = Dy, Tb and Er) led to the isolation of new polyoxometalate-templated lanthanide-organic hybrid layers with the molecular formula [Ln(L)(1.5)(H(2)O)(5)][PMo(12)O(40)]·1.5CH(3)CN·2H(2)O (Ln = Dy (1), Tb (2) and Er (3); L = 1,4-bis(pyridinil-4-carboxylato)-l,4-dimethylbenzene). All compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, TG analyses, IR and the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compounds 1-3 are isostructural and possess a 2D undulating cationic network [Ln(L)(1.5)(H(2)O)(5)](n)(3n+) with the honeycomb-like cavities. Interestingly, the interval 2D networks are further connected by the H-bonds to form a 3D supramolecular framework. Moreover, two of such identical supramolecular frameworks are 2-fold interpenetrated with each other and encapsulate the α-Keggin-type [PMo(12)O(40)](3-) anionic templates and the solvent molecules. These composite compounds display both luminescent properties (induced by organic ligands and/or lanthanide ions) and electrocatalytic activities towards the reduction of nitrite.  相似文献

Six lanthanide(iii)-2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzenedicarboxylate frameworks, namely, [Ln(H(2)-DHBDC)(1.5)(H(2)O)(2)](n) (Ln = La (1) and Pr (2); H(4)-DHBDC = 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid), {[Nd(H(2)-DHBDC)(1.5)(H(2)O)(3)](H(2)O)}(n) (3), {[Eu(H(2)-DHBDC)(NO(3))(H(2)O)(4)](H(2)O)(2)}(n) (4), and {[Ln(2)(H(2)-DHBDC)(2)(DHBDC)(0.5)(H(2)O)(3)](H(2)O)(4)}(n) (Ln = Gd (5) and Dy (6)), with four different structural types ranging from 1D chain, 2D layer to 3D networks have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Compounds La (1) and Pr (2) are isomorphous and exhibit 3D frameworks with the unique 1D tubular channels. Compounds Nd (3) and Eu (4) are 2D layer and 1D zigzag chain, respectively, which are further extended to 3D supramolecular frameworks through extensive hydrogen bonds. Isomorphous compounds of Gd (5) and Dy (6) are 3D frameworks constructed from secondary infinite rod-shaped metal-carboxylate/hydroxyl building blocks. While the hydroxyl groups as secondary functional groups in the 1D chain of Eu (4) and 2D layer of Nd (3) are not bonded to the lanthanide centers, the hydroxyl groups in the 3D frameworks of La (1), Pr (2), Gd (5), and Dy (6) participate in coordinating to lanthanide centers and thus modify the structural types of theses compounds. The magnetic data of compounds Pr (2), Nd (3), Gd (5), and Dy (6) have been investigated in detail. In addition, elemental analysis, IR spectra, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) patterns and thermogravimetric analysis of these compounds are described.  相似文献

Eight novel lanthanide complexes: {Ln(TDA)1.5(H2O)2}n (Ln = Pr(1a), Nd(2a)) and {Ln(TDA)(Ac)(H2O)}n (Ln = Pr(1), Nd(2), Eu(3), Gd(4), Tb(5), Dy(6); TDA = Thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid anion) have been constructed by hydrothermal reaction. Structural analyses reveal that complexes 1a and 2a belong to the space group C2/c, exhibiting three-dimensional (3D) frameworks. Complexes 1-6 with P21/c space group were prepared in the presence of excessive ammonium acetate, giving rise to interesting 3D frameworks different from those of 1a and 2a. Magnetic property studies of 4-6 reveal the weak antiferromagnetic interaction exists between adjacent Gd3+ in 4. The complex 6 displays rather rare slow magnetization relaxation behavior in 3D frameworks.  相似文献

Two series of novel complexes, [Ln(dca)(2)(Phen)(2)(H(2)O)(3)](dca).(phen) (Ln = Pr (1), Gd (2), and Sm (3), dca = N(CN)(-), phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) and [Ln(dca)(3)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](n), (Ln = Gd (4), Sm (5), and La (6), 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipydine), have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures of the first series (1-3) are isomorphous and consist of discrete [Ln(dca)(2)(Phen)(2)(H(2)O)(3)]+ cations, dca anions, and lattice phen molecules; whereas the structures of the second series (4-6) are characterized by infinite chains [Ln(dca)(3)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](n). The Ln(III) atoms in all complexes are nine-coordinated and form a distorted tricapped trigonal prism environment. The three-dimensional frameworks of 1-6 are constructed by intermolecular hydrogen bond interactions. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements for complexes 1, 2, 4, and 5 indicate a Curie-Weiss paramagnetic behavior over 5-300 K.  相似文献

The structures, luminescent and magnetic properties of three series of coordination polymers with formulas-{[Fe(3)Ln(2)(L(1))(6)(H(2)O)(6)]·xH(2)O}(n) (Ln = Pr-Er; 1-9), {[Co(3)Ln(2)(L(1))(6)(H(2)O)(6)]·yH(2)O}(n) (Ln = Pr-Dy, Yb; 10-17) and {[Co(2)Ln(L(2))(HL(2))(2)(H(2)O)(7)]·zH(2)O}(n) (Ln = Eu-Yb; 18-25) (H(2)L(1) = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid, H(3)L(2) = 4-hydroxyl-pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid) were systematically explored in this contribution. [Fe(II)(HS)-L(1)-Ln(III)] (1-9) and [Co(II)-L(1)-Ln(III)] (10-17) series are isostructural, and display 3D porous networks with 1D nanosized channels constructed by Fe/Co-OCO-Ln linkages. Furthermore, two types of "water" pipes are observed in 1D channels. [Co(II)-L(2)-Ln(III)] (18-25) series exhibit 2D open frameworks based on double-stranded helical motifs, which are further assembled into 3D porous structures by intermolecular hydrogen bonds between hydroxyl groups. The variety of the resulting structures is mainly due to the HO-substitution effect. These 3D coordination polymers show considerably high thermal stability, and do not decomposed until 400 °C. The high-spin Fe(II) ion in [Fe(II)(HS)-L(1)-Ln(III)] was confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, M?ssbauer spectroscopy and magnetic studies. The luminescent spectra of coordination polymers associated with Sm(III), Eu(III), Tb(III) and Dy(III) were systematically investigated, and indicate that different d-metal ions in d-f systems may result in dissimilar luminescent properties. The magnetic properties of [Fe(II)(HS)-L(1)-Ln(III)] (3, 6, 7, 9, 13), [Co(II)-L(1)-Ln(III)] (15-17) and [Co(II)-L(2)-Ln(III)] (19-24) coordination polymers were also studied, and the χ(M)T values decrease with cooling. For the single ion behavior of Co(II) and Ln(III) ions, the magnetic coupling nature between Fe(II)(HS)/Co(II) and Ln(III) ions cannot be clearly depicted as antiferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

Anilido phosphinimino ancillary ligand H(2)L(1) reacted with one equivalent of rare earth metal trialkyl [Ln{CH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)}(3)(thf)(2)] (Ln=Y, Lu) to afford rare earth metal monoalkyl complexes [L(1)LnCH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)(THF)] (1 a: Ln=Y; 1 b: Ln=Lu). In this process, deprotonation of H(2)L(1) by one metal alkyl species was followed by intramolecular C--H activation of the phenyl group of the phosphine moiety to generate dianionic species L(1) with release of two equivalnts of tetramethylsilane. Ligand L(1) coordinates to Ln(3+) ions in a rare C,N,N tridentate mode. Complex l a reacted readily with two equivalents of 2,6-diisopropylaniline to give the corresponding bis-amido complex [(HL(1))LnY(NHC(6)H(3)iPr(2)-2,6)(2)] (2) selectively, that is, the C--H activation of the phenyl group is reversible. When 1 a was exposed to moisture, the hydrolyzed dimeric complex [{(HL(1))Y(OH)}(2)](OH)(2) (3) was isolated. Treatment of [Ln{CH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)}(3)(thf)(2)] with amino phosphine ligands HL(2-R) gave stable rare earth metal bis-alkyl complexes [(L(2-R))Ln{CH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)}(2)(thf)] (4 a: Ln=Y, R=Me; 4 b: Ln=Lu, R=Me; 4 c: Ln=Y, R=iPr; 4 d: Ln=Y, R=iPr) in high yields. No proton abstraction from the ligand was observed. Amination of 4 a and 4 c with 2,6-diisopropylaniline afforded the bis-amido counterparts [(L(2-R))Y(NHC(6)H(3)iPr(2)-2,6)(2)(thf)] (5 a: R=Me; 5 b: R=iPr). Complexes 1 a,b and 4 a-d initiated the ring-opening polymerization of d,l-lactide with high activity to give atactic polylactides.  相似文献

A series of microporous lanthanide metal-organic frameworks, Tb3(BDC)(4.5)(DMF)2(H2O)3.(DMF)(H2O) (1) and Ln3(BDC)(4.5)(DMF)2(H2O)3.(DMF)(C2H5OH)(0.5)(H2O)(0.5) [Ln = Dy (2), Ho (3), Er (4)], have been synthesized by the reaction of the lanthanide metal ion (Ln3+) with 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid and triethylenetetramine in a mixed solution of N,N'-dimethylformamide (DMF), water, and C(2)H(5)OH. X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that they are extremely similar in structure and crystallized in triclinic space group P. An edge-sharing metallic dimer and 4 metallic monomers assemble with 18 carboxylate groups to form discrete inorganic rod-shaped building units [Ln6(CO2)18], which link to each other through phenyl groups to lead to three-dimensional open frameworks with approximately 4 x 6 A rhombic channels along the [0,-1,1] direction. A water sorption isotherm proves that guest molecules in the framework of complex 1 can be removed to create permanent microporosity and about four water molecules per formula unit can be adsorbed into the micropores. These complexes exhibit blue fluorescence, and complex 1 shows a Tb3+ characteristic emission in the range of 450-650 nm.  相似文献

[Ln(8)(SeO(3))(4)(2,6-pdc)(8)(H(2)O)(10)].2H(2)O (Ln = La (1), Nd (2), Eu (3); 2,6-pdcH(2) = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid) represent the first examples of luminescent lanthanide selenite-carboxylate compounds. The compounds have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures feature two-dimensional (2D) host frameworks composed of Ln(8)(SeO(3))(4)(2,6-pdc)(8)(H(2)O)(10) clusters connected to each other via inter-cluster Ln(2)O(2) rhombic units along the b-axis and 12-membered Ln(4)O(2)(COO)(2) rings along the c-axis. Inter-layer H-bonding interactions between coordinated water molecules and carboxylate groups lead to three-dimensional architectures. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) indicated that the 2D networks were thermostable up to approximately 450 degrees C after losing both coordinated and lattice water molecules and underwent reversible process of dehydration and rehydration. Study on photoluminescent properties revealed that compounds 1, 2 and 3 were new rare-earth materials with violet, near-infrared, and red luminescence, respectively.  相似文献

The first examples of lanthanide(III) organoarsonates, Ln(L(1))(H(2)O)(3) (Ln = La (1), H(3)L(1) = 4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenylarsonic acid), Ln(L(1))(H(2)O)(2) (Ln = Nd (2), Gd (3)), and mixed-ligand lanthanide(III) organoarsonates, Ln(2)(HL(1))(2)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)(2) (Ln = Nd (4), Sm (5), Eu (6)), were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Compounds 1-3 feature a corrugated lanthanide arsonate layer, in which 1D lanthanide arsonate inorganic chains are further interconnected via bridging L(1)(3-) ligands. Compounds 4-6 exhibit a complicated 3D network. The interconnection of the lanthanide(III) ions by the bridging arsonate ligand leads to the formation of a novel 3D framework with long narrow 1D tunnels along the a-axis, with the oxalate anions are located at the above tunnels and bridging with lanthanide(III) ions. Compounds 2 and 4 exhibit the characteristic emission bands of the Nd(III) ion, whereas compound 6 displays the characteristic emission bands of the Eu(III) ion. The magnetic properties of compounds 3-6 were also investigated.  相似文献

Two new flexible exo-bidentate ligands were designed and synthesized, incorporating different backbone chain lengths bearing two salicylamide arms, namely 2,2'-(2,2'-oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyl)bis(oxy))bis(N-benzylbenzamide) (L(I)) and 2,2'-(2,2'-(ethane-1,2-diylbis(oxy))bis(ethane-2,1-diyl))bis(oxy)bis(N-benzylbenzamide) (L(II)). These two structurally related ligands are used as building blocks for constructing diverse lanthanide polymers with luminescent properties. Among two series of lanthanide nitrate complexes which have been characterized by elemental analysis, TGA analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and IR spectroscopy, ten new coordination polymers have been determined using X-ray diffraction analysis. All the coordination polymers exhibit the same metal-to-ligand molar ratio of 2?:?3. L(I), as a bridging ligand, reacts with lanthanide nitrates forming two different types of 2D coordination complexes: herringbone framework {[Ln(2)(NO(3))(6)(L(I))(3)·mC(4)H(8)O(2)](∞) (Ln = La (1), and Pr (2), m = 1, 2)} as type I,; and honeycomb framework {[Ln(2)(NO(3))(6)(L(I))(3)·nCH(3)OH](∞) (Ln = Nd (3), Eu (4), Tb (5), and Er (6), n = 0 or 3)} as type II, which change according to the decrease in radius of the lanthanide. For L(II), two distinct structure types of 1D ladder-like coordination complexes were formed with decreasing lanthanide radii: [Ln(2)(NO(3))(6)(L(II))(3)·2C(4)H(8)O(2)](∞) (Ln = La (7), Pr (8), Nd (9)) as type III, [Ln(2)(NO(3))(6)(L(I))(3)·mC(4)H(8)O(2)·nCH(3)OH](∞) (Ln = Eu (10), Tb (11), and Er (12), m, n = 2 or 0) as type IV. The progressive structural variation from the 2D supramolecular framework to 1D ladder-like frameworks is attributed to the varying chain length of the backbone group in the flexible ligands. The photophysical properties of trivalent Sm, Eu, Tb, and Dy complexes at room temperature were also investigated in detail.  相似文献

A conjugated ligand, 2-(carboxylic acid)-6-(2-benzimidazolyl) pyridine (Hcbmp), and a series of Lanthanide metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) [Ln(2)(cbmp)(ox)(3)(H(2)O)(2)](2)·2H(3)O(+)·7H(2)O (Ln = Sm (3), Eu (4), and Gd (5), H(2)ox = oxalic acid) have been designed and assembled. To elucidate how the conjugated ligands modulate the structures and luminescence properties, we carried out the structural characterizations and luminescence studies of complexes 3 and 4, and their corresponding oxalate complexes [Ln(ox)(1.5)(H(2)O)(3)]·2H(2)O (Ln = Sm (1) and Eu (2)) were also investigated for comparison. The changes of luminescence behaviors upon dehydration and D(2)O-rehydration processes are presented and discussed in detail. The results indicated that, the cbmp(-) ligands distribute on both sides of the ox(-)-Ln bilayer network to construct a sandwich structure. Moreover, the lowest triplet state of cbmp(-) ligands can match well the energy levels of the Sm(3+) and Eu(3+) cations which allow the preparation of new Ln-MOF materials with enhanced luminescence properties. Meanwhile, the crystallinity of solid states produces more substantial change in the luminescence behaviors than removal or replacement of effective nonradiative relaxers.  相似文献

A series of cationic lanthanide porphyrinate complexes of the general formula [(Por)Ln(H(2)O)(3)](+) (Ln(3+)=Yb(3+) and Er(3+)) were synthesized in moderate yields through the interaction of meso-pyridyl-substituted porphyrin free bases (H(2)Por) with [Ln{N(SiMe(3))(2)}(3)]·x[LiCl(thf)(3)], and the corresponding neutral derivatives [(Por)Ln(L(OMe))] (L(OMe)(-)=[(η(5)-C(5)H(5))Co{P(=O)(OMe)(2)}(3)](-)) were also prepared from [(Por)Ln(H(2)O)(3)](+) by the addition of the tripodal anion, L(OMe)(-), an effective encapsulating agent for lanthanide ions. Furthermore, the water-soluble lanthanide(III) porphyrinate complexes--including [(cis-DMPyDPP)Yb(H(2)O)(3)]Cl(3) (cis-DMPyDPP=5,10-bis(N-methylpyridinium-4'-y1)-15,20-di(phenyl)porphyrin), [(trans-DMPyDPP)Yb(H(2)O)(3)]Cl(3) (trans-DMPyDPP=5,15-bis(N-methylpyridinium-4'-y1)-10,20-di(phenyl)porphyrin), [(TMPyP)Yb(L(OMe))]I(4), and [(TMPyP)Er(L(OMe))]I(4) (TMPyP=tetrakis(N-methylpyridinium-4-y1)porphyrin)--were obtained by methylation of the corresponding complexes with methyl iodide and unambiguously characterized. The binding interactions and photocleavage activities of the water-soluble lanthanide(III) porphyrinate complexes towards DNA were investigated by UV-visible, fluorescence, and near-infrared luminescence spectroscopy, as well as circular dichroism and gel electrophoresis.  相似文献

Three new lanthanide 1-D coordination polymers ({[Ln(2)(H(2)L)(OAc)(6)]·EtOH·2H(2)O}(n) (Ln = Eu (1), Er (2)) and {YbNiLCl(OAc)(2)(H(2)O)}(n) (3)) and a heterobinuclear complex [YbNiLCl(3)(H(2)O)(3)] (4) are reported which are formed from salen type Schiff-base ligands H(2)L (H(2)L = N,N'-bis(3-methoxysalicylidene)butane-1,4-diamine). The polymeric structures are formed by bridging H(2)L units in the case of 1 and 2, and by acetate groups in 3. The structures of 1-4 were determined by single crystal X-ray crystallographic studies and their luminescence properties in MeCN solution were determined.  相似文献

The syntheses, structural determinations and magnetic studies of tetranuclear M(II)Ln(III) complexes (M = Ni, Zn; Ln = Y, Gd, Dy) involving an in situ compartmentalized schiff base ligand HL derived from the condensation of o-vanillin and 2-hydrazinopyridine as main ligand are described. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that all complexes are closely isostructural, with the central core composed of distorted {M(2)Ln(2)O(4)} cubes of the formulas [Ni(2)Ln(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)(L)(2)(OAc)(4)(H(2)O)(3.5)](ClO(4))(2)·3H(2)O (Ln = Y 1 and Gd 2), [Ni(2)Dy(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)(L)(2)(OAc)(5)(EtOH)(H(2)O)(1.5)](ClO(4))·EtOH·H(2)O (3) and [Zn(2)Ln(2)(μ(3)-OH)(2)(L)(2)(OAc)(5)(EtOH)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))·2EtOH·1.5H(2)O (Gd 4 and Dy 5). The Ln(III) ions are linked by two hydroxo bridges and each M(II) ion is also involved in a double phenoxo-hydroxo bridge with the two Ln(III) ions, so that each hydroxo group is triply linked to the two Ln(III) and one M(II) ions. The magnetic properties of all complexes have been investigated. Ni(2)Y(2) (1) has a ferromagnetic Ni(II)Ni(II) interaction. A weak ferromagnetic Ni(II)Ln(III) interaction is observed in the Ni(2)Ln(2) complexes (Ln = Gd 2, Dy 3), along with a weak antiferromagnetic Ln(III)Ln(III) interaction, a D zero-field splitting term for the nickel ion and a ferromagnetic Ni(II)Ni(II) interaction. The isomorphous Zn(2)Ln(2) (Ln = Gd 4, Dy 5) does confirm the presence of a weak antiferromagnetic Ln(III)Ln(III) interaction. The Ni(2)Dy(2) complex (3) does not behave as a SMM, which could result from a subtractive combination of the Dy and Ni anisotropies and an increased transverse anisotropy, leading to large tunnel splittings and quantum tunneling of magnetization. On the other hand, Zn(2)Dy(2) (5) exhibits a possible SMM behavior, where its slow relaxation of magnetization is probably attributed to the presence of the anisotropic Dy(III) ions.  相似文献
