This paper studies the concept of controllability for infinite-dimensional linear control systems in Banach spaces. First, we prove that the set of admissible control operators for the semigroup generator is unchanged if we perturb the generator by the Desch–Schappacher perturbations. Second we show that exact controllability is not changed by such perturbations.  相似文献

We are concerned with the boundary controllability to the trajectories of the Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation. By using a Carleman estimate, we obtain the null controllability of the linearized equation around a given solution. From a local inversion theorem we get the local controllability to the trajectories of the nonlinear system.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the existence of quadratic Lyapunov functions for certain types of switched linear systems. Given a partition of the state-space, a set of matrices (linear dynamics), and a matrix-valued function A(x) constructed by associating these matrices with regions of the state-space in a manner governed by the partition, we ask whether there exists a positive definite symmetric matrix P such that A(x)TP+PA(x) is negative definite for all x(t). For planar systems, necessary and sufficient conditions are given. Extensions for higher order systems are also presented.  相似文献

For many control systems in real life, impulses and delays are intrinsic properties that do not modify their behavior. Thus, we conjecture that under certain conditions the abrupt changes and delays as perturbations of a system, that could model a real situation, do not modify properties such as controllability. In this regard, we prove the approximate controllability of the semilinear heat equation under the influence of multiple impulses and delays, this is done by using new techniques, avoiding fixed point theorems, employed by A.E. This paper concerns a class of control systems governed by semilinear degenerate equations with boundary control in one-dimensional space. The control is proposed on the ‘degenerate’ part of the boundary. The control systems are shown to be approximately controllable by Kakutani's fixed point theorem.  相似文献

We study the approximate controllability for the abstract evolution equations with nonlocal conditions in Hilbert spaces. Assuming the approximate controllability of the corresponding linearized equation we obtain sufficient conditions for the approximate controllability of the semilinear evolution equation. The results we obtained are a generalization and continuation of the recent results on this issue. At the end, an example is given to show the application of our result.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with a two-dimensional Navier-Stokes system in a rectangle with Navier slip boundary conditions on the horizontal sides. We establish the global null controllability of the system by controlling the normal component and the vorticity of the velocity on the vertical sides. The linearized control system around zero is controllable but one does not know how to deduce global controllability results for the nonlinear system. Our proof uses the return method together with a local exact controllability result by Fursikov and Imanuvilov.  相似文献

We consider a sloped canal with friction that is governed by the Saint-Venant system with source term. We show that starting sufficiently close to a stationary constant subcritical initial state, we can control the system in finite time to a state in a C1C1 neighbourhood of any other stationary constant subcritical state by boundary control at the ends of the canal in such a way that during the process the system state remains continuously differentiable.  相似文献

This paper is addressed to studying the exact controllability of stochastic Schrödinger equations by two controls. One is a boundary control and the other is an internal control in the diffusion term. By means of the duality argument, the control problem is converted into an observability problem for backward stochastic Schrödinger equations, and the desired observability estimate is obtained by a global Carleman estimate. At last, we give a result about the lack of exact controllability, which shows that the action of two controls is necessary.  相似文献

A continuous resp. discrete r-dimensional (r1) system is the solution space of a system of linear partial differential resp. difference equations with constant coefficients for a vector of functions or distributions in r variables resp. of r-fold indexed sequences. Although such linear systems, both multidimensional and multivariable, have been used and studied in analysis and algebra for a long time, for instance by Ehrenpreis et al. thirty years ago, these systems have only recently been recognized as objects of special significance for system theory and for technical applications. Their introduction in this context in the discrete one-dimensional (r=1) case is due to J. C. Willems. The main duality theorem of this paper establishes a categorical duality between these multidimensional systems and finitely generated modules over the polynomial algebra in r indeterminates by making use of deep results in the areas of partial differential equations, several complex variables and algebra. This duality theorem makes many notions and theorems from algebra available for system theoretic considerations. This strategy is pursued here in several directions and is similar to the use of polynomial algebra in the standard one-dimensional theory, but mathematically more difficult. The following subjects are treated: input-output structures of systems and their transfer matrix, signal flow spaces and graphs of systems and block diagrams, transfer equivalence and (minimal) realizations, controllability and observability, rank singularities and their connection with the integral respresentation theorem, invertible systems, the constructive solution of the Cauchy problem and convolutional transfer operators for discrete systems. Several constructions on the basis of the Gröbner basis algorithms are executed. In this article, we investigate sufficient conditions for controllability of second order semi-linear neutral functional initial value problem for the class of differential inclusions in Banach spaces using the theory of strongly continuous cosine families. Rooted tree analysis is adapted from stochastic differential equations to derive systematically general Runge–Kutta methods for deterministic affinely controlled nonlinear systems. Order conditions are found and some specific coefficients for second- and third-order methods are determined, which are then used for simulations compared with the Taylor methods for affinely controlled nonlinear systems derived by Grüne and Kloeden.  相似文献

This article studies the local controllability to trajectories of a Burgers equation with nonlocal viscosity. By linearization we are led to an equation with a non local term whose controllability properties are analyzed by using Fourier decomposition and biorthogonal techniques. Once the existence of controls is proved and the dependence of their norms with respect to the time is established for the linearized model, a fixed point method allows us to deduce the result for the nonlinear initial problem.  相似文献

In this paper we prove the existence of insensitizing controls, having one vanishing component, for the local L2L2-norm of the solutions of the Navier–Stokes system. This problem can be recast as a null controllability problem for a nonlinear cascade system. We first prove a controllability result, with controls having one vanishing component, for a linear problem. Then, by means of an inverse mapping theorem, we deduce the controllability for the cascade system.  相似文献
