Three new coumarins, phellodenols F-H (1-3) and a new glutaric acid derivative, phellodendric acid-A (4) were isolated from the leaves of Phellodendron amurense together with twenty-nine known compounds. Extensive 1D and 2D NMR experiments and other spectroscopic studies were employed to determine the structures of 1-4. The isolated compounds were screened for their antioxidant activity through DPPH (alpha,alpha-diphenyl-beta-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging assay. Compounds quercetin, quercetin-3-O-beta-D-glucoside, quercetin-3-O-beta-D-galactoside and kaempferol-3-O-beta-D-glucoside demonstrated significant radical scavenging activity comparable to vitamin E.  相似文献

The essential oils from leaves and stem barks of Drimys brasiliensis Miers (Winteraceae), collected in July and December 2008, were analyzed by GC/FID and GC/MS. The stem bark oils were composed mainly of monoterpenes (July, 45 +/- 3%; December, 92 +/- 4%), while the oils from leaves showed the predominance of sesquiterpenes (July, 47 +/- 1%; December, 55 +/- 1%). The variation in the relative amount of constituents could be associated, at least in part, to several microclimatic parameters such as precipitation, temperature and/or phenological state, which were different for each collection of D. brasiliensis.  相似文献

Abstract

Smilax brasiliensis is a medicinal species of the Brazilian Cerrado. The extract and fractions of this plant were analysed by LC-DAD-MS. Identified constituents included glycosylated and non-glycosylated flavonoids, especially quercetin, and phenylpropanoids, such as chlorogenic acids. The antioxidant activity was significantly more pronounced for the methanol extract and fractions than that of the commercial antioxidant 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol (BHT). Maximum larvicidal activity of 85.83% was recorded in the dichloromethane fraction (LC50 = 469.78?µg mL?1). The methanol extract and fractions presented low toxicity to larvae of the shrimp brine Artemia salina, indicating selectivity for C. quinquefasciatus. These results contribute to the phytochemical study of S. brasiliensis. These compounds were identified for the first time in this species and encourage additional work on the isolation of compounds present in the extract and fractions of S. brasiliensis to evaluate the possibility of using them as natural sources of antioxidants, since cytotoxic effects were not demonstrated.  相似文献

The antioxidant and cytotoxic activities of petroleum ether and methanol extracts, fatty acids and methyl esters from leaves of Smilax brasiliensis were evaluated, and the composition of the extracts was determined. Palmitic, linoleic and linolenic acids were major components of the extracts. For antioxidant activity, all samples exhibited IC50 values lower than BHT (2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol). The extracts, fatty acids and methyl esters from S. brasiliensis presented no toxicity to larvae of the brine shrimp, Artemia salina. Among the purified substances, only methyl linolenate showed toxicity (LD50 = 21.47 μg/mL). This study showed, for the first time, the composition of petroleum ether and methanol extracts from S. brasiliensis leaves, as well as the antioxidant and cytotoxic activities of extracts, fatty acids and methyl esters.  相似文献

An immunoadjuvant preparation (named Fraction B) was obtained from the aqueous extract of Quillaja brasiliensis leaves, and further fractionated by consecutive separations with silica flash MPLC and reverse phase HPLC. Two compounds were isolated, and their structures elucidated using a combination of NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. One of these compounds is a previously undescribed triterpene saponin (Qb1), which is an isomer of QS-21, the unique adjuvant saponin employed in human vaccines. The other compound is a triterpene saponin previously isolated from Quillaja saponaria bark, known as S13. The structure of Qb1 consists of a quillaic acid residue substituted with a β-d-Galp-(1→2)-[β-d-Xylp-(1→3)]-β-d-GlcpA trisaccharide at C3, and a β-d-Xylp-(1→4)-α-l-Rhap-(1→2)-[α-l-Arap-(1→3)]-β-d-Fucp moiety at C28. The oligosaccharide at C28 was further substituted at O4 of the fucosyl residue with an acyl group capped with a β-d-Xylp residue.  相似文献

Three new flavonoid derivatives, 6'-O-acetyl amurensin (1), 6'-O-acetyl phellamurin (3) and (2R)-phellodensin-F (5), together with thirty known compounds have been isolated from the leaves of Phellodendron japonicum MAXIM. Their structures were established by means of spectroscopic analysis, including extensive 2D NMR and Mass spectra. The known compounds were identified by comparison with published physical and spectral data. The isolated compounds were screened for their in vitro antioxidant activity through DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging assay. Compounds quercetin and phellodenin-A demonstrated significant radical scavenging activity.  相似文献

The chemical constituents identified in the essential oils hydrodistilled from the leaves of Amomum gagnepainii T.L.Wu, K.Larsen and Turland and Amomum repoense Pierre ex Gagnep (Zingiberaceae) of Vietnam origin are reported. The chemical analyses were performed by means of gas chromatography–flame ionisation detector (GC-FID) and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The main compounds of A. gagnepainii were farnesyl acetate (18.5%), zerumbone (16.4%) and β-caryophyllene (10.5%). On the other hand, Amomum repoense comprised of monoterpenes dominated by β-pinene (33.5%), (E)-β-ocimene (9.6%), γ-terpinene (9.1%) and α-pinene (8.4%). This is the first report on the essential oils of A. gagnepainii and A. repoense grown in Vietnam or elsewhere.  相似文献

Two lignan sulfates, a stilbene derivative and a phenol sulfate, together with 10 known compounds, were isolated from an aqueous extract of the root of Polygonum cuspidatum. The new compounds were elucidated based on chemical evidence and spectroscopic techniques including two-dimensional NMR methods. They exhibited no inhibition of lipid peroxidation and no cytotoxic and DNA cleavage activities.  相似文献

Three new coumarins containing a C(10) terpenoid side chain, clauslactones R - T (1 - 3), together with 14 known coumarins (4 - 17) and 11 known carbazole alkaloids (18 - 28), were isolated from the leaves and stems of Clausena excavata. Their structures were established by detailed spectroscopic analyses. Furthermore, the stereochemistry of 1 was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, which was the first example among coumarins with a C(10) terpenoid side chain. Additionally, compounds 22 and 27 were found to show moderate topoisomerase II inhibitory effects at 50 microM.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of the trunk of Schinopsis brasiliensis afforded a new alkyl phenol, methyl 6-eicosanyl-2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoate, besides an unusual steroid 5alpha,8alpha-epidioxyergosta-6,22-dien-3-beta-ol. The compounds were characterised by spectroscopy data analysis.  相似文献

利用硅胶、聚酰胺柱层析等分离方法, 从麦斛全草的乙醚萃取物中分离得到4个化合物, 经化学方法和光谱分析(UV, IR, NMR, MS)鉴定为3,4,7-三羟基-2-甲氧基菲(1), 2,5-二羟基-4-甲氧基菲(2), eugenitin (3)和2,5-二羟基-4-甲氧基-9,10-二氢菲(4), 其中1为新化合物. 采用MTT法分别测得化合物12对体外培养的人急性髓性白血病细胞和人肝癌细胞增殖的抑制活性, 并分别考察了增敏剂葛根素对化合物12增殖活性的协同作用.  相似文献

Secostrychnosin ( 1 ), a new secoiridoid, as well as seven compounds never before isolated from nature: 4‐tert‐butyl‐2‐oxazolidinone ( 2 ), 3‐acetoxyindole ( 3 ), indole‐2‐carboxylic acid ( 4 ), benzocaine ( 5 ), 3‐acetylindole ( 6 ), butylparaben ( 7 ) and 2‐hydroxy‐3‐methoxybenzaldehyde ( 8 ), together with fifty other known compounds, have been isolated from the stem of Strychnos cathayensis. These compounds include twenty‐three alkaloids, twelve benzenoids, four steroids, three flavonoids, three iridoids, two triterpenoids, two secoiridoids, two fatty acids, one lignan, one acetophenone, one coumarin, one chromane, one tetraterpenoid, one tannin, and one organic acid. The structures of these compounds were determined by means of spectralanalyses.  相似文献

通过正相和反相硅胶柱色以及高效液相色谱,从红葱60%乙醇提取物中分离得到3个新化合物,利用物理化学和光谱学方法鉴定了其结构,分别为9,9'-二羟基-8,8'-二甲氧基-1,1'-二甲基-1H,1H-['4,4']双[萘并(2,3-c)呋喃]-3,3'-二酮(1),6,8-二羟基-3,4-二甲氧基-1-甲基-蒽醌-2-羧酸甲酯(2),2-乙酰基-3,6,8-三羟基-1-甲基蒽醌(3).这3个化合物均能不同程度地诱导稻瘟霉菌丝变形,其最小变形质量浓度(Mini-mummorphologicaldeformationmassconcentration,MMDC)分别为145.8,50.2和124.8μg/mL.利用MTT法测定了化合物抑制人类红白血细胞株K562细胞生长的活性,化合物2的IC50为49.1μg/mL.  相似文献

The genus Notoseris (Asteraceae) comprising of 14 species is endemic in China[1]. Two new sesquiterpene lactones,notoserolides A and B,along with 12 known compounds were isolated from the aerial parts of N.
