Four novel high-nuclear 3d-4f heterometallic clusters were obtained through the self-assembly of Ln(III), Cu(II), and amino acid ligands (2-methylalanine (mAla), glycine (Gly), and L-proline (Pro), respectively). The metal skeleton of cluster 1, [Gd6Cu24(mu3-OH)30(mAla)16(ClO4)(H2O)22].(ClO4)17.(OH)2.(H2O)2(0), may be described as a huge {Gd6Cu12} octahedron connected with 12 additional Cu(II) ions. The structure of cluster 2, Na4[Tb6Cu26(mu3-OH)30(Gly)18(ClO4)(H2O)22].(ClO4)25.(H2O)42, may be described as a {Tb6Cu24} main structure connected with two [Cu(Gly)(H2O)2]+ groups. Compounds {[Ln6Cu24(mu3-OH)30(Pro)12(Ac)6(ClO4)(H2O)13]2Cu(Pro)2}.(ClO4)18.(OH)16.(H2O)55 (Ln= Sm (3), Gd (4)) are 61-nuclear clusters, which represent the largest known 3d-4f clusters so far, the structure can be described as two {Ln6Cu24} octahedral units connected by a trans-Cu(proline)2 bridge. The electrical conductivity measurements reveal that they are temperature-sensitive semiconductors. The magnetic susceptibility measurements display that compound 4 is ferromagnetic.  相似文献

Reaction of [Cu(PPh3)2(MeCN)2]ClO4 (1) and Sn(edt)2 (edt = ethane-1,2-dithiolate) in dichloromethane afforded a novel compound [Sn3Cu4(S2C2H4)6(mu3-O)(PPh3)4](ClO4)2 x 3 CH2Cl2 (2), which is the first example of the heptanuclear Sn(IV)-Cu(I) oxosulfur complex with a bottle-shaped cluster core. Complex 2 gives a blue-green luminescent emission in the solid state. The new heteronuclear iminodiacetic acid (H2L) complexes [LnCu6(mu 3-OH)3(HL)2(L)4](ClO4)(2).25H2O with Ln = La (1) and Tb (2) have been prepared in aqueous solution and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction to be isomorphous (crystallographic data for 1 and 2: hexagonal, P63/m; a = b = 12.6425(14) A, c = 24.541(5) A, Z = 2 (1); a = b = 12.5802(9) A, c = 24.285(4) A, Z = 2 (2)). Ln3+ was found to be located in the center of the trigonal prismatic cage formed by six Cu2+ ions, with a tricapped trigonal prismatic coordination environment of nine O atoms. The magnetic properties of complexes 1 and 2 have been studied. The results indicate the presence of ferromagnetic couplings between Tb3+ and Cu2+ in compound 2.  相似文献

The synthesis and magnetic properties are reported of two new clusters [Mn(10)O(4)(OH)(2)(O(2)CMe)(8)(hmp)(8)](ClO(4))(4) (1) and [Mn(7)(OH)(3)(hmp)(9)Cl(3)](Cl)(ClO(4)) (2). Complex 1 was prepared by treatment of [Mn(3)O(O(2)CMe)(6)(py)(3)](ClO(4)) with 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine (hmpH) in CH(2)Cl(2), whereas 2 was obtained from the reaction of MnCl(2).4H(2)O, hmpH, and NBu(n)(4)MnO(4) in MeCN followed by recrystallization in the presence of NBu(n)(4)ClO(4). Complex 1.2py.10CH(2)Cl(2).2H(2)O crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1. The cation consists of 10 Mn(III) ions, 8 mu(3)-O(2)(-) ions, 2 mu(3)-OH(-) ions, 8 bridging acetates, and 8 bridging and chelating hmp(-) ligands. The hmp(-) ligands bridge through their O atoms in two ways: two with mu(3)-O atoms and six with mu(2)-O atoms. Complex 2.3CH(2)Cl(2).H(2)O crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1. The cation consists of four Mn(II) and three Mn(III) ions, arranged as a Mn(6) hexagon of alternating Mn(II) and Mn(III) ions surrounding a central Mn(II) ion. The remaining ligation is by three mu(3)-OH(-) ions, three terminal chloride ions, and nine bridging and chelating hmp(-) ligands. Six hmp(-) ligands contain mu(2)-O atoms and three contain mu(3)-O atoms. The Cl(-) anion is hydrogen-bonded to the three mu(3)-OH(-) ions. Variable-temperature direct current (dc) magnetic susceptibility data were collected for complex 1 in the 5.00-300 K range in a 5 kG applied field. The chi(M)T value gradually decreases from 17.87 cm(3) mol(-1) K at 300 K to 1.14 cm(3) mol(-1) K at 5.00 K, indicating an S = 0 ground state. The ground-state spin of complex 2 was established by magnetization measurements in the 0.5-3.0 T and 1.80-4.00 K ranges. Fitting of the data by matrix diagonalization, incorporating only axial anisotropy (DS(z)(2)), gave equally good fits with S = 10, g = 2.13, D = -0.14 cm(-1) and S = 11, g = 1.94, D = -0.11 cm(-1). Magnetization versus dc field scans down to 0.04 K reveal no hysteresis attributable to single-molecule magnetism behavior, only weak intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

The nine-membered [-Cu(II)-N-N-](3) ring of trimeric copper-pyrazolato complexes provides a sturdy framework on which water is twice deprotonated in consecutive steps, forming mu(3)-OH and mu(3)-O species. In the presence of excess chlorides the mu(3)-O(H) ligand is replaced by two mu(3)-Cl ions. The interconversion of mu(3)-OH and mu(3)-O and the exchange of mu(3)-O(H) and mu(3)-Cl are reversible, and the three species involved have been structurally characterized: [PPN][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)(thf)].CH(2)Cl(2) (1a), monoclinic P2(1)/n, a = 10.055(2) A, b = 35.428(5) A, c = 15.153(2) A, beta = 93.802(3) degrees, V = 5386(1) A(3), Z = 4; [Bu(4)N][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (1b), triclinic P-1, a = 9.135(2) A, b = 13.631(2) A, c = 14.510(2) A, alpha = 67.393(2) degrees, beta = 87.979(2) degrees, gamma = 80.268(3) degrees, V = 1643.2(4) A(3), Z = 2; [PPN](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-O)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (2), monoclinic P2/c, a = 12.807(2) A, b = 13.093(2) A, c = 23.139(4) A, beta = 105.391(3) degrees, V = 3741(1) A(3), Z = 2; [PPN](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-Cl)(2)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)].0.75H(2)O.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) (3a), triclinic P-1, a = 14.042(2) A, b = 23.978(4) A, c = 25.195(4) A, alpha = 76.796(3) degrees, beta = 79.506(3) degrees, gamma = 77.629(3) degrees, V = 7988(2) A(3), Z = 4; [Bu(4)N](2)[Cu(3)(mu(3)-Cl)(2)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)] (3b), monoclinic C2/c, a = 17.220(2) A, b = 15.606(2) A, c = 20.133(2) A, beta = 103.057(2) degrees, V = 5270(1) A(3), Z = 4; [Et(3)NH][Cu(3)(mu(3)-OH)(mu-pz)(3)Cl(3)(pzH)] (4), triclinic P-1, a = 11.498(2) A, b = 11.499(2) A, c = 12.186(2) A, alpha = 66.475(3) degrees, beta = 64.279(3) degrees, gamma = 80.183(3) degrees, V = 1331.0(5) A(3), Z = 2. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that the three copper centers of 2 are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled with J(Cu-Cu) = -500 cm(-1).  相似文献

Mono- and dicopper(II) complexes of a series of potentially bridging hexaamine ligands have been prepared and characterized in the solid state by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures of the following Cu(II) complexes are reported: [Cu(HL3)](ClO4)(3), C11H31Cl3CuN6O12, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 8.294(2) A, b = 18.364(3) A, c = 15.674(3) A, beta = 94.73(2) degrees, Z = 4; ([Cu2(L4)(CO3)](2))(ClO4)(4).4H2O, C40H100Cl4Cu4N12O26, triclinic, P1, a = 9.4888(8) A, b = 13.353(1) A, c = 15.329(1) A, alpha = 111.250(7) degrees, beta = 90.068(8) degrees, gamma = 105.081(8) degrees, Z = 1; [Cu2(L5)(OH2)(2)](ClO4)(4), C13H36Cl4Cu2N6O18, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 7.225(2) A, b = 8.5555(5) A, c = 23.134(8) A, beta = 92.37(1) degrees, Z = 2; [Cu2(L6)(OH2)(2)](ClO4)(4).3H2O, C14H44Cl4Cu2N6O21, monoclinic, P2(1)/a, a = 15.204(5) A, b = 7.6810(7) A, c = 29.370(1) A, beta = 100.42(2) degrees, Z = 4. Solution spectroscopic properties of the bimetallic complexes indicate that significant conformational changes occur upon dissolution, and this has been probed with EPR spectroscopy and molecular mechanics calculations.  相似文献

The construction of two unique, high-nuclearity Cu(II) supramolecular aggregates with tetrahedral or octahedral cage units, [(mu(3)-Cl)[Li subset Cu(4)(mu-L(1))(3)](3)](ClO(4))(8)(H(2)O)(4.5) (1) and [[Na(2) subset Cu(12)(mu-L(2))(8)(mu-Cl)(4)](ClO(4))(8)(H(2)O)(10)(H(3)O(+))(2)](infinity) (2) by alkali-metal-templated (Li(+) or Na(+)) self-assembly, was achieved by the use of two newly designed carboxylic-functionalized diazamesocyclic ligands, N,N'-bis(3-propionyloxy)-1,4-diazacycloheptane (H(2)L(1)) or 1,5-diazacyclooctane-N,N'-diacetate acid (H(2)L(2)). Complex 1 crystallizes in the trigonal R3c space group (a = b = 20.866(3), c = 126.26(4) A and Z = 12), and 2 in the triclinic P1 space group (a = 13.632(4), b = 14.754(4), c = 19.517(6) A, alpha = 99.836(6), beta = 95.793(5), gamma = 116.124(5) degrees and Z = 1). By subtle variation of the ligand structures and the alkali-metal templates, different polymeric motifs were obtained: a dodecanuclear architecture 1 consisting of three Cu(4) tetrahedral cage units with a Li(+) template, and a supramolecular chain 2 consisting of two crystallographically nonequivalent octahedral Cu(6) polyhedra with a Na(+) template. The effects of ligand functionality and alkali metal template ions on the self-assembly processes of both coordination supramolecular aggregates, and their magnetic behaviors are discussed in detail.  相似文献

Interaction of 4,4-bi(1,2,4-triazole) (btr) with copper(II) chloride (bromide) in aqueous or aqueous alcohol media led to a series of coordination polymers featuring the formation of mu 3-hydroxotricopper(II) clusters and their integration into 3D frameworks. These unprecedented structures originate in the propagation of trigonal hydroxotricopper(II) clusters bridged by tri- or tetradentate organic ligands. Complex [{Cu3(mu3-OH)}{Cu3(mu3-O)}(mu4-btr)3(H2O)4(OH)2Cl6]Cl.0.5H2O adopts a structure of SrSi2 topology, with eight-fold interpenetration of the coordination frameworks. The structure of [{Cu3(mu3-OH)}2(mu3-btr)6(mu4-btr)(mu-X)X4]X5.nH2O (X = Br, n = 6; X = Cl, n = 8) involves 2D coordination layers [{Cu3(mu3-OH)}(mu3-btr)3]n with an exceptional (3,6)-net topology, which are cross-linked by tetradentate btr ligands and bridging chloride (bromide) ions.  相似文献

Octanuclear complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with unit cell parameters a = 26.609(1) A, b = 14.496(1) A, c = 16.652(1) A, beta = 97.814(1) degrees , and Z = 4, and nonanuclear complex 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with unit cell parameters a = 24.104(1) A, b = 13.542(1) A, c = 24.355(1) A, beta = 109.98(1) degrees , and Z = 4. The magnetic behavior of the three complexes has been checked showing strong antiferromagnetic coupling in all the cases.  相似文献

Copper(I) and copper(II) complexes possessing a series of related ligands with pyridyl-containing donors have been investigated. The ligands are tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (tmpa), bis[(2-pyridyl)methyl]-2-(2-pyridyl)ethylamine (pmea), bis[2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl]-(2-pyridyl)methylamine (pmap), and tris[2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl]amine (tepa). The crystal structures of the protonated ligand H(tepa)ClO(4), the copper(I) complexes [Cu(pmea)]PF(6) (1b-PF(6)), [Cu(pmap)]PF(6) (1c-PF(6)), and copper(II) complexes [Cu(pmea)Cl]ClO(4).H(2)O (2b-ClO(4).H(2)O), [Cu(pmap)Cl]ClO(4).H(2)O (2c-ClO(4).H(2)O), [Cu(pmap)Cl]ClO(4) (2c-ClO(4)), and [Cu(pmea)F](2)(PF(6))(2) (3b-PF(6)) were determined. Crystal data: H(tepa)ClO(4), formula C(21)H(25)ClN(4)O(4), triclinic space group P1, Z = 2, a = 10.386(2) A, b = 10.723(2) A, c = 11.663(2) A, alpha = 108.77(3) degrees, beta = 113.81(3) degrees, gamma = 90.39(3) degrees; 1b-PF(6), formula C(19)H(20)CuF(6)N(4)P, orthorhombic space group Pbca, Z = 8, a = 14.413(3) A, b = 16.043(3) A, c = 18.288(4) A, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees; (1c-PF(6)), formula C(20)H(22)CuF(6)N(4)P, orthorhombic space group Pbca, Z = 8, a = 13.306(3) A, b = 16.936(3) A, c = 19.163(4) A, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees; 2b-ClO(4).H(2)O, formula C(19)H(22)Cl(2)CuN(4)O(5), triclinic space group P1, Z = 4, a = 11.967(2) A, b = 12.445(3) A, c = 15.668(3) A, alpha = 84.65(3) degrees, beta = 68.57(3) degrees, gamma = 87.33(3) degrees; 2c-ClO(4).H(2)O, formula C(20)H(24)Cl(2)CuN(4)O(5), monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 11.2927(5) A, b = 13.2389(4) A, c = 15.0939(8) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 97.397(2) degrees; 2c-ClO(4), formula C(20)H(22)Cl(2)CuN(4)O(4), monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 8.7682(4) A, b = 18.4968(10) A, c = 13.2575(8) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 94.219(4) degrees; 3b-PF(6), formula [C(19)H(20)CuF(7)N(4)P](2), monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, Z = 2, a = 11.620(5) A, b = 12.752(5) A, c = 15.424(6) A, alpha = gamma = 90 degrees, beta = 109.56(3) degrees. The oxidation of the copper(I) complexes with dioxygen was studied. [Cu(tmpa)(CH(3)CN)](+) (1a) reacts with dioxygen to form a dinuclear peroxo complex that is stable at low temperatures. In contrast, only a very labile peroxo complex was observed spectroscopically when 1b was reacted with dioxygen at low temperatures using stopped-flow kinetic techniques. No dioxygen adduct was detected spectroscopically during the oxidation of 1c, and 1d was found to be unreactive toward dioxygen. Reaction of dioxygen with 1a-PF(6), 1b-PF(6), and 1c-PF(6) at ambient temperatures leads to fluoride-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes as products. All copper(II) complexes were characterized by UV-vis, EPR, and electrochemical measurements. The results manifest the dramatic effects of ligand variations and particularly chelate ring size on structure and reactivity.  相似文献

Two new polynuclear complexes [Ni6(amox)6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)2](Cl2).6H2O and [Cu3(amox)3(mu3-OH)(mu3-Cl)](ClO4).4H2O (amox- = anion of 4-amino-4-methyl-2-pentanone oxime) have been synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. The Ni(II) complex contains a novel Chinese-lantern-like Ni6 cage centered by an oxo ion. It contains the nearest octahedral Ni(II)...Ni(II) separation (<2.8 A) and exhibits strong antiferromagnetic properties. The Cu(II) complex has a cyclic trinuclear copper(II) core bridged by both mu3-OH(-) and mu3-Cl(-) ions. The magnetic susceptibilities of both antiferromagnetic complexes were fitted by using approximate models.  相似文献

New synthesis procedures are described to tetranuclear manganese carboxylate complexes containing the [Mn(4)O(2)](8+) or [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) (X(-) = MeCO(2)(-), F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), NO(3)(-)) core. These involve acidolysis reactions of [Mn(4)O(3)(O(2)CMe)(4)(dbm)(3)] (1; dbm is the anion of dibenzoylmethane) or [Mn(4)O(2)(O(2)CEt)(6)(dbm)(2)] (8) with HX (X(-) = F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), NO(3)(-)); high-yield routes to 1 and 8 are also described. The X(-) = NO(3)(-) complexes [Mn(4)O(3)(NO(3))(O(2)CR)(3)(R'(2)dbm)(3)] (R = Me, R' = H (6); R = Me, R' = Et (7); R = Et, R' = H (12)) represent the first synthesis of the [Mn(4)O(3)(NO(3))](6+) core, which contains an unusual eta(1):mu(3)-NO(3)(-) group. Treatment of known [Mn(4)O(2)(O(2)CEt)(7)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) with HNO(3) gives [Mn(4)O(2)(NO(3))(O(2)CEt)(6)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) (15) containing a eta(1):eta(1):mu-NO(3)(-) group bridging the two body Mn(III) ions of the [Mn(4)O(2)](8+) butterfly core. Complex 7 x 4CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with (at -168 degrees C) a = 21.110(3) A, b = 22.183(3) A, c = 15.958(2) A, Z = 4, and V = 7472.4(3) A(3). Complex 15 x (3)/(2)CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in space group P2(1)/c with (at -165 degrees C) a = 26.025(4) A, b = 13.488(2) A, c = 32.102(6) A, beta = 97.27(1) degrees, Z = 8, and V = 11178(5) A(3). Complex 7 contains a [Mn(4)(mu(3)-O)(3)(mu(3)-NO(3))](6+) core (3Mn(III), Mn(IV)) as seen for previous [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complexes. Complex 15 contains a butterfly [Mn(4)(mu(3)-O)(2)](8+) core. (1)H NMR spectra have been recorded for all complexes reported in this work and the various resonances assigned. All complexes retain their structural integrity on dissolution in chloroform and dichloromethane. Magnetic susceptibility (chi(M)) data were collected on 12 in the 5-300 K range in a 10.0 kG (1 T) field. Fitting of the data to the theoretical chi(M) vs T expression appropriate for a [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complex of C(3)(v)() symmetry gave J(34) = -23.9 cm(-)(1), J(33) = 4.9 cm(-)(1), and g = 1.98, where J(34) and J(33) refer to the Mn(III)Mn(IV) and Mn(III)Mn(III) pairwise exchange interactions, respectively. The ground state of the molecule is S = 9/2, as found previously for other [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complexes. This was confirmed by magnetization data collected at various fields and temperatures. Fitting of the data gave S = 9/2, D = -0.45 cm(-1), and g = 1.96, where D is the axial zero-field splitting parameter.  相似文献

Hydroxo- and methoxo-bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes of the tetramacrocyclic ligand 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(1,4,7-triazacyclonon-1-ylmethyl)benzene (Ldur), have been prepared from [Cu4Ldur(H2O)8](ClO4)8.9H2O (1). Addition of base to an aqueous solution of 1 gave [Cu4Ldur(mu2-OH)4](ClO4)4 (2). Diffusion of MeOH into a DMF solution of 2 produces [Cu4Ldur(mu2-OMe)4](ClO4)4.HClO4.2/3MeOH (3), a complex which hydrolyzes on exposure to moisture regenerating 2. The structurally related azido-bridged complex, [Cu4Ldur(mu2-N3)4](PF6)4.4H2O.6CH3CN (4), was produced by reaction of Ldur with 4 molar equiv of Cu(OAc)2.H2O and NaN3 in the presence of excess KPF6. Compounds 2-4 crystallize in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2) with a = 10.248(1) A, b = 12.130(2) A, c = 14.353(2) A, alpha = 82.23(1) degrees, beta = 80.79(1) degrees, gamma = 65.71(1) degrees, and Z = 1 for 2, a = 10.2985(4) A, b = 12.1182(4) A, c = 13.9705(3) A, alpha = 89.978(2) degrees, beta = 82.038(2) degrees, gamma = 65.095(2) degrees, and Z = 1 for 3, and a = 12.059(2) A, b = 12.554(2) A, c = 14.051(2) A, alpha = 91.85(1) degrees, beta = 98.22(1) degrees, gamma = 105.62(1) degrees, and Z = 1 for 4. The complexes feature pairs of isolated dibridged copper(II) dimers with "roof-shaped" Cu2(mu2-X)2 cores (X = OH-, OMe-, N3-), as indicated by the dihedral angle between the two CuX2 planes (159 degrees for 2, 161 degrees for 3, and 153 degrees for 4). This leads to Cu.Cu distances of 2.940(4) A for 2, 2.962(1) A for 3, and 3.006(5) A for 4. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate weak antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -27 cm(-1)) for the hydroxo-bridged copper(II) centers in 2 and very strong antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -269 cm(-1)) for the methoxo-bridged copper(II) centers in 3. Pairs of copper(II) centers in 4 display the strongest ferromagnetic interaction (J = 94 cm(-1)) reported thus far for bis(mu2-1,1-azido)-bridged dicopper units. Spectral measurements on a neat powdered sample of 4 at 33.9 GHz or 90 Ghz confirm the spin-triplet ground state for the azido-bridged copper(II) pairs.  相似文献

Controlled potential electrolysis (CPE) procedures are described that provide access to complexes with a [Mn4(mu 3-O)3(mu 3-O2CR)]6+ core (3MnIII,MnIV) and a trigonal pyramidal metal topology, starting from species containing the [Mn4(mu 3-O)2]8+ core (4MnIII). [Mn4O2(O2CMe)6(py)2(dbm)2] (6): triclinic, P1, a = 10.868(3) A, b = 13.864(3) A, c = 10.625(3) A, alpha = 108.62(1) degrees, beta = 118.98(1) degrees, gamma = 89.34(2) degrees, V = 1307 A3, Z = 1, T = -131 degrees C, R (Rw) = 3.24 (3.70)%. [Mn4O2(O2CPh)6(py)(dbm)2] (8): monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 14.743(6) A, b = 15.536(8) A, c = 30.006(13) A, beta = 102.79(1) degrees, V = 6702 A3, Z = 4, T = -155 degrees C, R (Rw) = 4.32 (4.44)%. Both 6 and 8 contain a [Mn4O2]8+ core; 8 only has one py group, the fourth MnIII site being five-coordinate. (NBun4)[Mn4O2(O2CPh)7(dbm)2] (10) is available from two related procedures. CPE of 10 at 0.65 V vs ferocene in MeCN leads to precipitation of [Mn4O3(O2CPh)4(dbm)3] (11); similarly, CPE of 6 at 0.84 V in MeCN/CH2Cl2 (3:1 v/v) gives [Mn4O3(O2CMe)4(dbm)3] (12). Complex 11: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 15.161(3) A, b = 21.577(4) A, c = 22.683(5) A, beta = 108.04(3) degrees, V = 7056 A3, Z = 4, T = -100 degrees C, R (wR2) = 8.63 (21.80)%. Complex 12: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 13.549(2) A, b = 22.338(4) A, c = 16.618(2) A, beta = 103.74(1) degrees, V = 4885 A3, Z = 4, T = -171 degrees C, R (Rw) = 4.63 (4.45)%. Both 11 and 12 contain a [Mn4(mu 3-O)3(mu-O2CR)] core with a Mn4 trigonal pyramid (MnIV at the apex) and the RCO2- bridging the MnIII3 base. However, in 11, the carboxylate is eta 2,mu 3 with one O atom terminal to one MnIII and the other O atom bridging the other two MnIII ions, whereas in 12 the carboxylate is eta 1,mu 3, a single O atom bridging three MnIII ions. Variable-temperature, solid-state magnetic susceptibility studies on 11 and 12 show that, for both complexes, there are antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between MnIII/MnIV pairs, and ferromagnetic interactions between MnIII/MnIII pairs. In both cases, the resultant ground states of the complex is S = 9/2, confirmed by magnetization vs field studies in the 2.00-30.0 K and 0.50-50 kG temperature and field ranges, respectively.  相似文献

Complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(n)(NH2Me)(3-n)]X(m) (n = 2, m = 0 (1), n = 1, m = 1, X = Cl (2a), n = 0, m = 2, X = OTf (3)) are obtained by reacting [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 with MeNH2 (1:2 or 1:8) or with [Ag(NH2Me)2]OTf (1:4), respectively. Complex 2b (n = 1, m = 1, X = ClO 4) is obtained from 2a and NaClO4 x H2O. The reaction of 3 with MeC(O)Ph at 80 degrees C gives [Ir(Cp*){C,N-C6H4{C(Me)=N(Me)}-2}(NH2Me)]OTf (4), which in turn reacts with RNC to give [Ir(Cp*){C,N-C6H4{C(Me)=N(Me)}-2}(CNR)]OTf (R = (t)Bu (5), Xy (6)). [Ir(mu-Cl)(COD)]2 reacts with [Ag{N(R)=CMe2}2]X (1:2) to give [Ir{N(R)=CMe2}2(COD)]X (R = H, X = ClO4 (7); R = Me, X = OTf (8)). Complexes [Ir(CO)2(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (9) and [IrCl{N(R)=CMe2}(COD)] (R = H (10), Me (11)) are obtained from the appropriate [Ir{N(R)=CMe2}2(COD)]X and CO or Me4NCl, respectively. [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 reacts with [Au(NH=CMe2)(PPh3)]ClO4 (1:2) to give [Ir(Cp*)(mu-Cl)(NH=CMe2)]2(ClO4)2 (12) which in turn reacts with PPh 3 or Me4NCl (1:2) to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(NH=CMe2)(PPh3)]ClO4 (13) or [Ir(Cp*)Cl2(NH=CMe2)] (14), respectively. Complex 14 hydrolyzes in a CH2Cl2/Et2O solution to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl2(NH3)] (15). The reaction of [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 with [Ag(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (1:4) gives [Ir(Cp*)(NH=CMe2)3](ClO4)2 (16a), which reacts with PPNCl (PPN = Ph3=P=N=PPh3) under different reaction conditions to give [Ir(Cp*)(NH=CMe2)3]XY (X = Cl, Y = ClO4 (16b); X = Y = Cl (16c)). Equimolar amounts of 14 and 16a react to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (17), which in turn reacts with PPNCl to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(H-imam)]Cl (R-imam = N,N'-N(R)=C(Me)CH2C(Me)2NHR (18a)]. Complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(R-imam)]ClO4 (R = H (18b), Me (19)) are obtained from 18a and AgClO4 or by refluxing 2b in acetone for 7 h, respectively. They react with AgClO4 and the appropriate neutral ligand or with [Ag(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 to give [Ir(Cp*)(R-imam)L](ClO4)2 (R = H, L = (t)BuNC (20), XyNC (21); R = Me, L = MeCN (22)) or [Ir(Cp*)(H-imam)(NH=CMe2)](ClO4)2 (23a), respectively. The later reacts with PPNCl to give [Ir(Cp*)(H-imam)(NH=CMe2)]Cl(ClO4) (23b). The reaction of 22 with XyNC gives [Ir(Cp*)(Me-imam)(CNXy)](ClO4)2 (24). The structures of complexes 15, 16c and 18b have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

Reaction of iron salts with three tripodal imidazole ligands, H(3)(1), H(3)(2), H(3)(3), formed from the condensation of tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (tren) with 3 equiv of an imidazole carboxaldehyde yielded eight new cationic iron(III) and iron(II), [FeH(3)L](3+or2+), and neutral iron(III), FeL, complexes. All complexes were characterized by EA(CHN), IR, UV, M?ssbauer, mass spectral techniques and cyclic voltammetry. Structures of three of the complexes, Fe(2).3H(2)O (C(18)H(27)FeN(10)O(3), a = b = c = 20.2707(5), cubic, I3d, Z = 16), Fe(3).4.5H(2)O (C(18)H(30)FeN(10)O(4.5), a = 20.9986(10), b = 11.7098(5), c = 19.9405(9), beta = 109.141(1), monoclinic, P2(1)/c), Z = 8), and [FeH(3)(3)](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (C(18)H(26)Cl(2)FeN(10)O(9), a = 9.4848(4), b = 23.2354(9), c = 12.2048(5), beta = 111.147(1) degrees, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4) were determined at 100 K. The structures are similar to one another and feature an octahedral iron with facial coordination of imidazoles and imine nitrogen atoms. The iron(III) complexes of the deprotonated ligands, Fe(1), Fe(2), and Fe(3), are low-spin while the protonated iron(III) cationic complexes, [FeH(3)(1)](ClO(4))(3) and [FeH(3)(2)](ClO(4))(3), are high-spin and spin-crossover, respectively. The iron(II) cationic complexes, [FeH(3)(1)]S(4)O(6), [FeH(3)(2)](ClO(4))(2), [FeH(3)(3)](ClO(4))(2), and [FeH(3)(3)][B(C(6)H(5))(4)](2) exhibit spin-crossover behavior. Cyclic voltammetric measurements on the series of complexes show that complete deprotonation of the ligands produces a negative shift in the Fe(III)/Fe(II) reduction potential of 981 mV on average. Deprotonation in air of either cationic iron(II) or iron(III) complexes, [FeH(3)L](3+or2+), yields the neutral iron(III) complex, FeL. The process is reversible for Fe(3), where protonation of Fe(3) yields [FeH(3)(3)](2+).  相似文献

Hydrothermal (deuteratothermal) reaction of L-ethyl lactate (Lig-Et) with Eu(ClO(4))(3)6 H(2)O gives colorless block crystals of [Eu(Lig)(2)(X(2)O)(2)][ClO(4)] (1, X=H; 2, X=D) both of which possess a two-dimensional laminar homochiral framework. Single-crystal dielectric measurements reveal that 1 and 2 display a giant dielectric anisotropy approximately exceeding 100 and large isotopic effect with about 54 % enhancement along the a axis. Their ferroelectric features further confirm this respect. The reactions of UO(3) with acidic aqueous chloride solutions resulted in the formation of two new polymeric U(VI) compounds. Single crystals of Cs(2)[(UO(2))(3)Cl(2)(IO(3))(OH)O(2)].2H(2)O (1) were formed under hydrothermal conditions with HIO(3) and CsCl, and Li(H(2)O)(2)[(UO(2))(2)Cl(3)(O)(H(2)O)] (2) was obtained from acidic LiCl solutions under ambient temperature and pressure. Both compounds contain pentagonal bipyramidal coordination of the uranyl dication, UO(2)(2+). The structure of 1 consists of infinite [(UO(2))(3)Cl(2)(IO(3))(mu(3)-OH)(mu(3)-O)(2)](2-) ribbons that run down the b axis that are formed from edge-sharing pentagonal bipyramidal [UO(6)Cl] and [UO(5)Cl(2)] units. The Cs(+) cations separate the chains from one another and form long ionic contacts with terminal oxygen atoms from iodate ligands, uranyl oxygen atoms, water molecules, and chloride anions. In 2, edge-sharing [UO(3)Cl(4)] and [UO(5)Cl(2)] units build up tetranuclear [(UO(2))(4)(mu-Cl)(6)(mu(3)-O)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2-) anions that are bridged by chloride to form one-dimensional chains. These chains are connected in a complex network of hydrogen bonds and interactions of uranyl oxygen atoms with Li(+) cations. With glycine or L-alanine as ligands, a series of novel 3d-4f heterometallic Ln(6)Cu(24) clusters with the formulas of [Sm(6)Cu(24)(mu(3)-OH)(30)(Gly)(12)(Ac)(12)(ClO(4))(H(2)O)(16)].(ClO(4))(9).(OH)(2).(H(2)O)(31) (1) and [Ln(6)Cu(24)(mu(3)-OH)(30)(Ala)(12)(Ac)(6)(ClO(4))(H(2)O)(12)].(ClO(4))(10).(OH)(7).(H(2)O)(34) (2.Ln) (Ln = Tb, Gd, Sm, and La) were synthesized by self-assembly, among which 1 and 2.Tb were characterized by X-ray structure analysis. The metal skeleton of the clusters may be described as a huge [Ln(6)Cu(12)] octahedron (constructed with 6 Ln(III) ions located at the vertices and 12 inner Cu(II) ions located at the midpoints of the edges) connected by 12 additional Cu(II) ions (every 2 are connected to 1 Ln(III) vertex). The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibilities of 2.Ln was investigated and was found to vary with the central rare-earth ions. Impedance spectroscopic measurements of 2.Ln reveal that they are ionic conductors.  相似文献
