Abstract splines in Krein spaces

We present generalizations to Krein spaces of the abstract interpolation and smoothing problems proposed by Atteia in Hilbert spaces: given a Krein space K and Hilbert spaces H and E (bounded) surjective operators T:H→K and V:H→E, ρ>0 and a fixed z₀∈E, we study the existence of solutions of the problems and .     

On singular critical points of positive operators in Krein spaces

Duality for frames in Krein spaces

A J‐frame for a Krein space is in particular a frame for (in the Hilbert space sense). But it is also compatible with the indefinite inner‐product of , meaning that it determines a pair of maximal uniformly definite subspaces, an analogue to the maximal dual pair associated with an orthonormal basis in a Krein space. This work is devoted to study duality for J‐frames in Krein spaces. Also, tight and Parseval J‐frames are defined and characterized.     

Completeness of quasi-normed symmetric operator spaces

We show that (generalized) Calkin correspondence between quasi-normed symmetric sequence spaces and symmetrically quasi-normed ideals of compact operators on an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space preserves completeness. We also establish a semifinite version of this result.     

Isometries of certain operator spaces

Certain free products of operator spaces

Certain free products are introduced for operator spaces and dual operator spaces. It is shown that the free product of operator spaces does not preserve the injectivity. The linking C*-algebra of the full free product of two ternary rings of operators (simply, TRO's) is *-isomorphic to the full free product of the linking C*-algebras of the two TRO's. The operator space-reduced free product of the preduals of von Neumann algebras agrees with the predual of the reduced free product of the von Neumann algebras. Each of two operator spaces can be embedded completely isometrically into the reduced free product of the operator spaces. Finally, an example is presented to show that the C*-algebra-reduced free product of two C*-algebras may be contractively isomorphic to a proper subspace of their reduced free product as operator spaces.

Local spectral theory for normal operators in Krein spaces

Sign type spectra are an important tool in the investigation of spectral properties of selfadjoint operators in Krein spaces. It is our aim to show that also sign type spectra for normal operators in Krein spaces provide insight in the spectral nature of the operator: If the real part and the imaginary part of a normal operator in a Krein space have real spectra only and if the growth of the resolvent of the imaginary part (close to the real axis) is of finite order, then the normal operator possesses a local spectral function defined for Borel subsets of the spectrum which belong to positive (negative) type spectrum. Moreover, the restriction of the normal operator to the spectral subspace corresponding to such a Borel subset is a normal operator in some Hilbert space. In particular, if the spectrum consists entirely out of positive and negative type spectrum, then the operator is similar to a normal operator in some Hilbert space. We use this result to show the existence of operator roots of a class of quadratic operator polynomials with normal coefficients.     

On K-groups of operator algebras on HD n spaces and QD n spaces

We obtain the K-groups of the operator ideals contained in the class of Riesz operators. And based on the results, we calculate the K-groups of the operator algebras on HD nspaces and QDn spaces.     

Uniform Boundedness of Lagrange Operator in Some Weighted Sobolev-Type Space

The authors show the uniform boundedness of the Lagrange operator in some weighted Sobolev-type space.     

WEIGHTED COMPOSITION OPERATORS BETWEEN BERS-TYPE SPACES AND BERGMAN SPACES

This paper characterizes the boundedness and compactness of weighted composition operators between Bers-type space （or little Bers-type space） and Bergman space. Some estimates for the norm of weighted composition operators between those spaces are obtained.
