In this paper, we investigate the Cauchy problem for the three‐dimensional nematic liquid crystal flows with partial viscosity, and a blow up criterion of smooth solutions is established. In this paper, we concern the Cauchy problem of two-dimensional (2D) compressible nematic liquid crystal flows with vacuum as far-field density. Under a geometric condition for the initial orientation field, we establish a blowup criterion in terms of the integrability of the density for strong solutions to the compressible nematic liquid crystal flows. This criterion generalizes previous results of compressible nematic liquid crystal flows with vacuum, which concludes the initial boundary problem and Cauchy problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop the energy argument in homogeneous Besov space framework to study the large time behavior of global‐in‐time strong solutions to the Cauchy problem of the three‐dimensional incompressible nematic liquid crystal flows with low regularity assumptions on initial data. More precisely, if the small initial data with 1 < p < and further assume that with 1 < qp and , then the global‐in‐time strong solution (u,d) to the nematic liquid crystal flows admits the following temporal decay rate: Here, is a constant unit vector. In this paper, we study the three-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations in a smooth bounded domains, in which the viscosity of the fluid and the magnetic diffusivity are concerned with density. In this article, first of all, the global existence and asymptotic stability of solutions to the incompressible nematic liquid crystal flow is investigated when initial data are a small perturbation near the constant steady state (0,δ0); here, δ0 is a constant vector with |δ0|=1. Precisely, we show the existence and asymptotic stability with small initial data for . The initial data class of us is not entirely included in the space BMO?1×BMO and contains strongly singular functions and measures. As an application, we obtain a class of asymptotic existence of a basin of attraction for each self‐similar solution with homogeneous initial data. We also study global existence of a large class of decaying solutions and construct an explicit asymptotic formula for ∣x∣→, relating the self‐similar profile (U(x),D(x)) to its corresponding initial data (u0,d0). An initial-boundary value problem is considered for the density-dependent incompressible viscous magnetohydrodynamic flow in a three-dimensional bounded domain. The homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition is prescribed on the velocity, and the perfectly conducting wall condition is prescribed on the magnetic field. For the initial density away from vacuum, the existence and uniqueness are established for the local strong solution with large initial data as well as for the global strong solution with small initial data. Furthermore, the weak-strong uniqueness of solutions is also proved, which shows that the weak solution is equal to the strong solution with certain initial data.  相似文献

We use a general energy method recently developed by [Guo Y, Wang Y. Decay of dissipative equations and negative sobolev spaces. Commun. Partial Differ. Equ. 2012;37:2165–2208.] to prove the global existence and temporal decay rates of solutions to the three-dimensional compressible nematic liquid crystal flow in the whole space. In particular, the negative Sobolev norms of solutions are shown to be preserved along time evolution, and then the optimal decay rates of the higher order spatial derivatives of solutions are obtained by energy estimates and the interpolation inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the uniform estimates of strong solutions in the Mach number ? and t ∈ [0,) for the compressible nematic liquid crystal flows in a 3‐D bounded domain , provided the initial data are small enough and the density is close to the constant state. Here, we consider the case that the velocity field satisfies the Dirichlet boundary condition. Based on the uniform estimates, we obtain the global convergence of the compressible nematic liquid crystal system to the incompressible nematic liquid crystals system as the Mach number tends to zero.  相似文献

This paper concerns an initial–boundary value problem of the inhomogeneous incompressible MHD equations in a smooth bounded domain. The viscosity and resistivity coefficients are density-dependent. The global well-posedness of strong solutions is established, provided the initial norms of velocity and magnetic field are suitably small in some sense, or the lower bound of the transport coefficients are large enough.
