Quantitative properties of ground-states to an M-coupled system with critical exponent in R~N

In this paper, we consider the ground-states of the following M-coupled system:where p_(ij)+q_(ij)=2*:=2 N/(N-2)(N≥3). We prove the existence of ground-states to the M-coupled system. At the same time, we not only give out the characterization of the ground-states, but also study the number of the ground-states, containing the positive ground-states and the semi-trivial ground-states, which may be the first result studying the number of not only positive ground-states but also semi-trivial ground-states.

Fixed points of n-valued maps on surfaces and the Wecken property—a configuration space approach

In this paper, we explore the fixed point theory of n-valued maps using configuration spaces and braid groups, focusing on two fundamental problems, the Wecken property, and the computation of the Nielsen number. We show that the projective plane(resp. the 2-sphere S~2) has the Wecken property for n-valued maps for all n ∈ N(resp. all n 3). In the case n = 2 and S~2, we prove a partial result about the Wecken property.We then describe the Nielsen number of a non-split n-valued map ? : X■X of an orientable, compact manifold without boundary in terms of the Nielsen coincidence numbers of a certain finite covering q : X → X with a subset of the coordinate maps of a lift of the n-valued split map ? ? q : X■X.

Our results is new and different from previous results. In particular, we obtain the Green function of the problem, which makes the problem simpler.

In this paper, we have analysed the dynamical behavior of the Josephson Junction equation bynumerical computation and the theory of dynamical systems. As 0<β<2:1 ε, and ρis not sufficientlylarge, we observed the intermittent chaotic behavior and the period-doubling chaotic behavior in whichpeople are very interested recently. This implies the for some β(0<β<2:1 ε), the dynamicalbehavior of the J-J equation is rather complex.

IMinpert： An Incomplete Minimum Perturbation Algorithm for Large Unsymmetric Linear Systems

This paper gives the truncated version of the Minpert method:the incomplete minimum perturbation algorithm(IMinpert).It is based on an incomplete orthogonal- ization of the Krylov vectors in question,and gives a quasi-minimum backward error solution over the Krylov subspace.In order to make the practical implementation of IMinpert easy and convenient,we give another approximate version of the IMinpert method:A-IMinpert.Theoretical properties of the latter algorithm are discussed.Nu- merical experiments are reported to show the proposed method is effective in practice and is competitive with the Minpert algorithm.

The Time Asymptotic Expansion of the Bipolar Hydrodynamic Model for Semiconductors

In 2003, Gasser-Hsiao-Li [JDE(2003)] showed that the solution to the bipolar hydrodynamic model for semiconductors(HD model) without doping function time-asymptotically converges to the diffusion wave of the porous media equation(PME) for the switch-off case. Motivated by the work of Huang-Wu[arXiv:2210.13157], we will confirm that the time-asymptotic expansion proposed by Geng-Huang-Jin-Wu [arXiv:2202.13385] around the diffusion wave is a better asymptotic profile for the HD model in this paper...
