The reaction in water of Cu(OH)(2) with 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy) and (NH(4))(2)HPO(4) in a 4 : 4 : 2 molar ratio under an inert atmosphere leads to the formation of a tetranuclear copper(II) complex of formula {[(H(2)O)(2)Cu(4)(bipy)(4)(mu(4)-PO(4))(2)(mu(2)-OH)] x 0.5 HPO(4) x 15.5 H(2)O}, 1, with butterfly topology. The structure of the tetranuclear core in 1 consists of four crystallographically unique copper(II) ions in approximate square-pyramidal geometry with each coordinated to a bipy ligand and interacting through two mu(4)-O,O',O'-phosphate bridges. Additional bridging between Cu(3) and Cu(4) is provided by a hydroxide ligand, whereas two water molecules cap the Cu(1) and Cu(2) square pyramids to yield a N(2)O(3) chromophore at each copper atom. Adjacent tetranuclear units align in anti-parallel fashion where proximate metal-bound water molecules interact with each other through both intra- and inter-molecular H-bonding to link two such clusters. These pairs then further associate through pi[...]pi interactions between bipy ligands to form a 2D sheet with neighbouring sheets separated by H-bonded lattice water molecules, which form a 2D H-bonded network. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements performed upon 1 reveal net intramolecular ferromagnetic coupling between the copper(II) ions and this is supported and rationalized by a DFT study.  相似文献

Two palladium(II) complexes, [Pd(bipy)(BzPhe‐N,O)] and [Pd(phen)(BzPhe‐N,O)]·4H2O were synthesized by reactions between Pd(bipy)Cl2 and BzPheH2 (N‐benzoyl‐β‐phenylalanine), Pd(phen) Cl2 and BzPheH2 in water at pH‐9, with their structures determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. The Pd atom is coordinated by two nitrogen atoms of bipy (or phen), the deprotonated amido type nitrogen atom and one of the carboxylic oxygens of BzPhe (BzPhe = N‐benzoyl‐β‐phenylalaninate dianion). In the complex [Pd(phen) (BzFne‐N,O)] · 4H2O, the side chain of phenylalanine is located above and approximately parallels to the coordination plane. Both the aromatic‐aromatic stacking interaction between the phenyl ring of phenylalanine and phen, and the metal ion‐aromatic interaction between the phenyl ring of phenylalanine and Pd(II) were observed. [Pd(bipy)(BzPhe‐N,O)] has the phenylalanyl side chain oriented outwards from the coordination plane, which is mainly due to the interaction between the carbonyl oxygen atom of the amido group and the phenyl ring of phenylalanine. The reason for the different orientation of phenylalanyl side chain in the complexes was suggested.  相似文献

The reaction in water of the N-benzyliminodiacetate-copper(II) chelate ([Cu(NBzIDA)]) and the adenine:thymine base pair complex (AdeH:ThyH) with a Cu/NBzIDA/AdeH/ThyH molar ratio of 2:2:1:1 yields [Cu(2)(NBzIDA)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(mu-N7,N9-Ade(N3)H)].3H(2)O and free ThyH. The compound has been studied by thermal, spectral, and X-ray diffraction methods. In the asymmetric dinuclear complex units both Cu(II) atoms exhibit a square pyramidal coordination, where the four closest donors are supplied by NBzIDA in a mer-tridentate conformation and the N7 or N9 donors of AdeH, which is protonated at N3. The mu-N7,N9 bridge represents a new coordination mode for nonsubstituted AdeH, except for some adeninate(1-)-[methylmercury(II)] derivatives studied earlier. The dinuclear complex is stabilized by the Cu-N7 and Cu-N9 bonds and N6-H(exocyclic)...O(carboxyl) and N3-H(heterocyclic)...O(carboxyl) interligand interactions, respectively. The structure of the new compound differs from that of the mononuclear compound [Cu(NBzIDA)(Ade(N9)H)(H(2)O)].H(2)O, in which the unusual Cu-N3(AdeH) bond is stabilized by a N9-H...O(carboxyl) interligand interaction and where alternating benzyl-AdeH intermolecular pi,pi-stacking interactions produce infinite stacked chains. The possibility for ThyH to be involved in the molecular recognition between [Cu(NBzIDA)] and the AdeH:ThyH base pair is proposed.  相似文献

Reaction of [V(VI)OCl(2)(thf)(2)] with a bidentate nitrogen-donor ligand (L: phen=1,10-phenanthroline, 5-mephen=5-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline, bipy=2,2'-bipyridine, 5,5'-me(2)bipy=5,5'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipy) in methyl alcohol, in the presence of triethylamine, leads to the formation of hexameric [V(2) (IV)V(4) (V)] oxo-alkoxo-vanadates of the general formula [V(6)O(12)(mu(2)-OCH(3))(4)(L)(4)].x H(2)O [L=phen (1.4 H(2)O), 5-mephen (2.6 H(2)O), bipy (3.4 H(2)O), 5,5'-me(2)bipy (4.H(2)O)]. X-ray structure analysis of 1.2 H(2)O and 4.8 CH(3)OH revealed a pair of V(3)O(13)N(4) trimeric units sharing two corners, with a centrosymmetric planar V(6)-core. In addition, a fully oxidized V(V) species [V(V) (4)O(8)(OCH(3))(2)(mu(3)-OCH(3))(2)(5,5'-me(2)bipy)(2)].3 CH(3)OH (5.3 CH(3)OH) was isolated from the reaction mixture used for the synthesis of 4.H(2)O. The crystal structure of 5.3 CH(3)OH revealed a dicubane-like framework with two missing vertices. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility studies for the hexamers 1.4 H(2)O and 3.4 H(2)O showed the complete localization of the single 3d electrons on the V(IV) ions and unusual ferromagnetic interaction between the two paramagnetic vanadium(IV) ions separated by a distance of about 5.1 A. Furthermore, intermolecular antiferromagnetic interactions through pi-contacts of phenyl rings were observed for these species below 8 K. The ferromagnetic exchange coupling observed in the hexanuclear compounds 1.4 H(2)O and 3.4 H(2)O is also discussed using ab initio UHF calculations on a model compound. The value of the exchange coupling constant (3.7 cm(-1)) for this model compound, calculated using the broken symmetry approach, is in good agreement, both in sign and magnitude, with the experimental J values (6.00 cm(-1) for 1.4 H(2)O and 8.54 cm(-1) for 3.4 H(2)O).  相似文献

The bimetallic complexes [[Fe(III)(phen)(CN)4]2Cu(II)(H2O)2].4H2O (1), [[Fe(III)(phen)(CN)4]2Cu(II)].H2O (2) and [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)4]2Cu(II)].2H2O (3) and [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)4]2Cu(II)(H2O)2].4H2O (4) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine) have been prepared and the structures of 1-3 determined by X-ray diffraction. The structure of 1 is made up of neutral cyanide-bridged Fe(III)-Cu(II) zigzag chains of formula [[Fe(III)(phen)(CN)4]2Cu(II)(H2O)2] and uncoordinated water molecules with the [Fe(phen)(CN)4]- entity acting as a bis-monodentate bridging ligand toward two trans-diaquacopper(II) units through two of its four cyanide groups in cis positions. The structure of 2 can be viewed as the condensation of two chains of 1 connected through single cyanide-bridged Fe(III)-Cu(II) pairs after removal of the two axially coordinated water molecules of the copper atom. The structure of 3 is like that of 2, the main differences being the occurrence of bipy (phen in 2) and two (one in 2) crystallization water molecules. The crystals of 4 diffract poorly but the analysis of the limited set of diffraction data shows a chain structure like that of 1 the most important difference being the fact that elongation axis at the copper atom is defined by the two trans coordinated water molecules. 1 behaves as a ferromagnetic Fe(III)2Cu(II) trinuclear system. A metamagnetic-like behavior is observed for 2 and 3, the value of the critical field (Hc) being ca. 1100 (2) and 900 Oe (3). For H > Hc the ferromagnetic Fe(III)2Cu(II) chains exhibit frequency dependence of the out-of-phase ac susceptibility signal at T < 4.0 K. The magnetic behavior of 4 corresponds to that of a ferromagnetically coupled chain of low spin iron(III) and copper(II) ions with frequency dependence of the out-of-phase susceptibility at T < 3.0 K. Theoretical calculations using methods based on density functional theory (DFT) have been employed to analyze and substantiate the exchange pathways in this family of complexes.  相似文献

Using three nonlinear dicarboxylates, isophthalate (ipa), 4,4'-oxybis(benzoate) (oba), and ethylenedi(4-oxybenzoate) (eoba), we have prepared five neutral infinite copper(II) dicarboxylate coordination polymers containing lateral aromatic chelate ligands, namely [Cu(ipa)(2,2'-bpy)]n.2nH2O (1), [Cu2(ipa)2(phen)2H2O]n (2), [Cu(oba)(phen)]n (3), [Cu(oba)(2,2'-bpy)]n (4), and [Cu(eoba)(phen)]n (5; 2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) by hydrothermal synthesis. X-ray single-crystal structural analyses of these complexes reveal that the nonlinear flexible or V-shaped dicarboxylates can induce the helicity or flexuousity of the polymeric chains and aromatic chelate ligands are important in providing potential supramolecular recognition sites for pi-pi aromatic stacking interactions. An appropriate combination of the bridging dicarboxylate and aromatic chelate can induce a pair of single-stranded helical or flexuous chains to generate a double-stranded helix or molecular zipper through supramolecular interactions, respectively.  相似文献

The mononuclear Re(IV) compound of formula (PPh(4))(2)[ReBr(4)(mal)] (1) was used as a ligand to obtain the heterobimetallic species [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)Co(dmphen)(2)]· MeCN (2), [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)Ni(dmphen)(2)] (3), [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)Mn(dmphen)(2)] (4a), [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)Mn(dmphen)(H(2)O)(2)]·dmphen·MeCN·H(2)O (4b), [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)Cu(phen)(2)]·1/4H(2)O (5) and [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)Cu(bipy)(2)] (6) (mal = malonate dianion, dmphen = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine). The structures of 2 and 5 (single-crystal X-ray diffraction) are made up of neutral [ReBr(4)(μ-mal)M(AA)] dinuclear units [AA = dmphen with M = Co (2) and AA = phen with M = Cu (5)] where the metal ions are connected through a malonate ligand which exhibits simultaneously the bidentate [at the Re(IV)] and monodentate [at the M(II)] coordination modes. The carboxylate-malonate group in them adopts the anti-syn conformation with intramolecular ReM separation of 5.098(8) (2) and 4.947(2) ? (5). The magnetic properties of 1-6 were investigated in the temperature range 1.9-295 K. The magnetic behaviour of 1 is the expected for a magnetically isolated Re(IV) complex with a large value of the zero-field splitting (2D ca. -70 cm(-1)) whereas weak antiferromagnetic interactions between Re(IV) and M(II) are observed in the heterobimetallic compounds 2 (J = -0.63 cm(-1)), 3 (J = -1.37 cm(-1)), 4a (J = -1.29 cm(-1)), 5 (J = -1.83 cm(-1)) and 6 (J = -0.26 cm(-1)). Remarkably, 4b behaves as a ferrimagnetic chain with regular alternating Re(IV) and Mn(II) cations (J = -2.64 cm(-1)).  相似文献

Three oxalate copper(II) complexes, [Cu(bipy)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)].2H(2)O (1), [Cu(nphen)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)].2H(2)O (2), and [Cu(phen)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)].H(2)O (3) (bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, nphen = 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized and their crystal structures have been determined. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with a = 7.2554(10) A, b = 10.5712(14) A, c = 10.8178(15) A, alpha = 62.086(2) degrees, beta = 77.478(3) degrees, gamma = 81.773(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with a = 9.582(2) A, b = 10.086(2) A, c = 10.592(2) A, alpha = 64.18(3) degrees, beta = 79.47(3) degrees, gamma = 60.06(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.4655(7) A, b = 9.7057(8) A, c = 17.4572(14) A; beta = 103.865(2) degrees, and Z = 4. The crystal structures of all complexes consist of neutral [Cu(L)(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)] (L = bipy, nphen, and phen) units and one or two lattice water molecules in the unit cell. Each copper atom in 1, 2, and 3 involves a five-coordinate CuN(2)O(2)O' environment, with a distorted square-pyramidal structure. In 1 and 2, two lattice water molecules are around each unit of [CuL(C(2)O(4))(H(2)O)] (L = bipy and nphen) and form two-dimensional networks. Only one lattice water molecule is found in the unit cell of 3 and the two-dimensional structure is different from 1 and 2. The extended three-dimensional structure is formed through pi-pi interactions between layers. The influences of hydrogen bonds and the sizes and Lewis basicity of ligands to the structures were discussed.  相似文献

Five copper(II) complexes with thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (H2Tda): Cu(Tda)(H2O)⋅(H2O)2 (1), Cu(Tda)(im)2⋅(H2O) (2), Cu(Tda)(im)4 (3), [Cu(Tda)(py)2]n (4) and [Cu(Tda)(bipy)(H2O)]nn[Cu(Tda)(bipy)(H2O)2]⋅2nH2O (5) (im=imidazole, py=pyridine and bipy=2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesised and their spectroscopic and thermal properties investigated. Three of them (3, 4 and 5) are structurally characterised and the Cu atom is in five coordinate, distorted square pyramidal environments. The thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylate molecule is monodentate in 3 in which the molecular structure is stabilised by intermolecular hydrogen bonding involving two of the four non-coordinated nitrogen atoms of the imidazole ligands and carboxylate groups from adjacent Tda2−. In 4 the thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylate ion is bridging tridentate and bonded to three copper atoms to form a chain polymer with alternating 16-membered ring bridged by two Tda2− and an 8-membered ring bridged by two carboxylates. Complex 5 comprises discrete [Cu(Tda)(bipy)(H2O)2] (5a), one dimensional zig–zag chain of [Cu(Tda)(bipy)(H2O)]n (5b) and water molecules of crystallization. The thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylate molecule is monodentate in 5a and involved in intermolecular stacking interactions with 2,2'-bipyridine rings, and bidentate in 5b to bridge [Cu(bipy)(H2O)] to form a one dimensional zig–zag chain.  相似文献

1,1-Diamino-2,2-dinitroethene (FOX-7) reacts readily with copper nitrate in an aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide to form pea green Cu(FOX)(2)(H(2)O)(2) (5). FOX-7 complexes of copper and nickel supported by a variety of diamines including Cu(en)(2)(FOX)(2)(H(2)O) (1), Cu(pn)(2)(FOX)(2) (2), Cu(bipy)(FOX)(2)(H(2)O)(4) (3a), Cu(bipy)(2)(FOX)(2)(H(2)O)(2.5) (3b), Cu(bipy)(FOX)(2)(DMSO)(2)·2DMSO (3c), Cu(phen)(3)(FOX)(2)(H(2)O)(3) (4), (Ni)(2)(phen)(6)(FOX)(4)(NO(3))(3)(H(2)O)(2) (6), and Ni(bipy)(3)(FOX)(2)(H(2)O)(4) (7a) were obtained via metathesis reactions with potassium-FOX (K-FOX). Surprisingly FOX-7, in the presence of Ni(II) and bipyridyl in a mixed solvent of methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide, gave a chelated FOX carbamate anion resulting in the compound Ni(bipy)(2)(FOX-CO(2))·(DMSO) (7b). All metal salts were characterized by infrared, elemental analysis, and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction structures were obtained for compounds 1, 2, 3c, 6, and 7b.  相似文献

The synthesis and solid-state structure of mononuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(SAIB)(H(2)O)(2)] (1), [Cu(SBAIB)(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O (2) and [Cu(SGABA)(H(2)O)(2)] (3) are described. Schiff base ligands H(2)SAIB, H(2)SBAIB and H(2)SGABA chelate the copper(II) ion in an O,N,O tridentate fashion. The square-pyramidal geometry of the final complexes is completed by two water ligands. The formation of an unusual seven-membered ring in the set of copper(II) N-salicylidene-aminoacidates is reported. Compounds 1-3 were evaluated by the antiradical activity assay.  相似文献

The reactions of [Re(N-N)(CO)3(PMe3)]OTf (N-N=2,2′-bipyridine, bipy; 1,10-phenanthroline, phen) compounds with tBuLi and with LiHBEt3 have been explored. Addition to the N-N chelate took place with different site-selectivity depending on both chelate and nucleophile. Thus, with tBuLi, an unprecedented addition to C5 of bipy, a regiochemistry not accessible for free bipy, was obtained, whereas coordinated phen underwent tBuLi addition to C2 and C4. Remarkably, when LiHBEt3 reacted with [Re(bipy)(CO)3(PMe3)]OTf, hydride addition to the 4 and 6 positions of bipy triggered an intermolecular cyclodimerization of two dearomatized pyridyl rings. In contrast, hydride addition to the phen analog resulted in partial reduction of one pyridine ring. The resulting neutral ReI products showed a varied reactivity with HOTf and with MeOTf to yield cationic complexes. These strategies rendered access to ReI complexes containing bipy- and phen-derived chelates with several C(sp3) centers.  相似文献

Compounds [RuII(bipy)(terpy)L](PF6)2 with bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, terpy = 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine, L = H2O, imidazole (imi), 4-methylimidazole, 2-methylimidazole, benzimidazole, 4,5-diphenylimidazole, indazole, pyrazole, 3-methylpyrazole have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, ESI-MS and UV/Vis (in CH3CN and H2O). For L = H2O, imidazole, 4,5-diphenylimidazole and indazole the X-ray structures of the complexes have been determined with the crystal packing featuring only few intermolecular C-H...pi or pi-pi interactions due to the separating action of the PF6-anions. Complexes with L = imidazole and 4-methylimidazole exhibit a fluorescence emission with a maximum at 662 and 667 nm, respectively (lambdaexc= 475 nm, solvent CH3CN or H2O). The substitution of the aqua ligand in [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(H2O)]2+ in aqueous solution by imidazole to give [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(imi)]2+ is fastest at a pH of 8.5 (as followed by the increase in emission intensity). Coupling of the [Ru(bipy)(terpy)]2+ fragment to cytochrome c(Yeast iso-1) starting from the Ru-aqua complex was successful at 35 degrees C and pH 7.0 after 5 d under argon in the dark. The [Ru(bipy)(terpy)(cyt c)]-product was characterized by UV/Vis, emission and mass spectrometry. The location where the [Ru(bipy)(terpy)] complex was coupled to the protein was identified as His44 (corresponding to His39 in other numbering schemes) using digestion of the Ru-coupled protein by trypsin and analysis of the tryptic peptides by HPLC-high resolution MS.  相似文献

A comparative study of the catalyzed decomposition of hydrogen peroxide using the following copper(II) complex salts, Cu(bipy)(S-threo)Cl · 3H2O, Cu(phen)(S-threo)Cl · 2H2O, Cu(bipy)(S-prol)Cl · 2H2O and Cu(phen)(S-prol)Cl · 2H2O has been made. Kinetic parameters were experimentally determined by the polarographic method at 25°C, pH 7.7 and constant ionic strength (μ = 0.1 M NaNO3). The catalytic behavior of the chelate with 2,2′-bipyridine and S-prolinate was also studied at pH 6.5 and 8.5. The reactivity follows the sequence: [Cu(bipy)S-prol] > [Cu(phen)S-prol] > [Cu(bipy)S-threo] > [Cu(phen)S-threo]. Activation energies are very similar to each other. The pH-dependent exchange of the amino acid ligand with hydrogen peroxide seems to be a critical factor in the reaction pathway. Several reaction mechanisms are proposed.  相似文献

The title mononuclear [Cu(sq)(phen)2]·3H2O complex [sq is squarate (C4O4) and phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline (C12H8N2)] has been synthesized and the structure consists of a neutral mononuclear [Cu(sq)(phen)2] unit and three solvate water molecules. The CuII ion has distorted square‐pyramidal coordination geometry, comprised of one carboxylate O atom from a monodentate squarate ligand and four N atoms from two chelating phen ligands. An extensive three‐dimensional network of OW—H⋯O/OW hydrogen bonds, face‐to‐face π–π interactions between the 1,10‐phenanthroline aromatic rings and a weak π–ring interaction are responsible for crystal stabilization.  相似文献

The reaction in water of M(II) ions (M = Cu, 1; Zn, 2; VO, 3) with 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy) followed by Na4P2O7 leads to the formation of three new complexes which feature the pyrophosphate anion, P2O7(4-), as a bridging ligand. Single crystal X-ray diffraction revealed 1 to be {[(bipy)Cu(H2O)(micro-P2O7)Na2(H2O)6] x 4H2O}, and 2 as a tetranuclear Zn(II) complex, {[(bipy)Zn(H2O)(micro-P2O7)Zn(bipy)]2 x 14H2O}. The structure of 1 consists of a mononuclear [(bipy)Cu(H2O)(P2O7)]2- unit that links via a pyrophosphate bridge to two Na atoms. The hydrated six-coordinate Na atoms themselves join together through bridging water molecules to generate a 2D Na-water sheet. The structure of 2 consists of a tetranuclear Zn(II) cluster (dimer-of-dimers) with two pyrophosphate ligands bridging between four metal centres. Adjacent clusters interact through face-to-face pi-pi interactions via the bipy ligands to yield a 2D sheet. Adjacent sheets pack in register to create channels, which are filled by the water molecules of crystallisation. An intricate 2D H-bonded water network separates adjacent sheets and encapsulates the tetranuclear clusters. Aspects of the pyrophosphate coordination modes in 1 and 2 are of structural relevance to those found within the inorganic pyrophosphatases. Compound 3, {[(bipy)(VO)2]2(micro-P2O7)] x 5H2O}, was isolated as an insoluble lime-green powder. Its dinuclear structure was elucidated from elemental and thermal analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurement and IR spectroscopy. The latter displayed characteristic bridging pyrophosphate and signature V=O stretches, which were corroborated by contrast to the IR spectra of 1 and 2 and through comparison with those found in the structurally characterised dinuclear complex, {[(bipy)Cu(H2O)]2(micro-P2O7) x 7H2O}, 4.  相似文献

Nine dinuclear copper(II) complexes with hxta5- ligands [H5hxta = N,N'-(2-hydroxy-1,3-xylylene)-bis-(N-carboxymethylglycine)]: [Cu2(MeO-hxtaH)(H2O)2] x 4H2O (1), [Na(micro-H2O)2(H2O)6][Cu2(Cl-hxta)(H2O)3]2 x 6H2O (2), [Cu(H2O)6][Cu2(Me-hxta)(H2O)2](NO3) x 2H2O (3), [Cu2(R-hxtaH)(H2O)3] x 3H2O [R = Cl (4), CH3 (5), and MeO (6)], [Cu2(MeO-hxtaH2)(micro-X)(CH3OH)] x 3CH3OH [X = Cl (7), Br (8)] and K5Na(micro-H2O)10[Cu2(micro-CO3)(Me-hxta)]2 x 4H2O (9), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In complexes 4-7, the dinuclear units are linked via novel pairwise supramolecular interactions involving the ligand carboxylate groups. The intra- and intermolecular magnetic interactions have been quantified, and the coupling constants have been related to the structural geometries.  相似文献

Neutral peroxovanadium(v) complexes, [VO(O2)(pca)(bpy)] (1), [VO(O2)(pca)(phen)] (2) and [VO(O2)(pic)(pcaa)(H2O)].H2O(3), were synthesized [2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), pyrazinecarboxamide (pcaa), 2-pyrazinecarboxylic (Hpca) and picolinic (Hpic) acids]. Their X-ray single crystal analysis revealed a distorted pentagonal bipyramidal geometry in all complex molecules. The four "free" coordination sites of the vanadium atoms of the VO(eta2-O2)+ moieties in 1 and 2 are occupied by the donor atoms of two bidentate heteroligands. The supramolecular structures of 1 and 2 are exclusively constructed by intermolecular C--H(ar)...O hydrogen bonds [dH(H...O): 2.292-2.708 A (1), and 2.260-2.720 A (2)]. In addition, the structures are stabilized by parallel off-set pi-pi interactions between the bpy rings resp. non-parallel off-set interactions between the phen rings [centroid distances: 3.7000(1) A (1), 3.9781(2) and 3.6757(2) A (2)]. In the molecular structure of 3, pcaa is coordinated in an equatorial position of the bipyramid via the nitrogen atom of the pyrazine ring, while the aqua ligand is in the apical position. The disordered crystal water molecules are located in 1D channels oriented along the a axis. The intermolecular C-H(ar)...O hydrogen bonds in 3 were found within the dH(H..O) range 2.409-2.669 A. The pic ligands are off-set pi-pi stacked, with centroid distances: 3.6725(3) and 3.8323(3) A. The DFT orbital calculations and NBO analysis for the VO(eta2-O2)+ group gave evidence for a triple V[triple bond]O bond, and showed that the observed cis arrangement of the oxo and peroxo ligands results from the direct interaction between them. Experimental and calculated UV-Vis and IR spectral data are presented.  相似文献

The new cyano complexes of formulas PPh(4)[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)] x H(2)O (1), [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)](2)M(II)(H(2)O)(4)] x 4H(2)O with M = Mn (2) and Zn (3), and [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)](2)Zn(II)] x 2H(2)O (4) [bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine and PPh(4) = tetraphenylphosphonium cation] have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structure of complex 1 is made up of mononuclear [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) anions, tetraphenyphosphonium cations, and water molecules of crystallization. The iron(III) is hexacoordinated with two nitrogen atoms of a chelating bipy and four carbon atoms of four terminal cyanide groups, building a distorted octahedron around the metal atom. The structure of complexes 2 and 3 consists of neutral centrosymmetric [[Fe(III)(bipy)(CN)(4)](2)M(II)(H(2)O)(4)] heterotrinuclear units and crystallization water molecules. The [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) entity of 1 is present in 2 and 3 acting as a monodentate ligand toward M(H(2)O)(4) units [M = Mn(II) (2) and Zn(II) (3)] through one cyanide group, the other three cyanides remaining terminal. Four water molecules and two cyanide nitrogen atoms from two [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) units in trans positions build a distorted octahedron surrounding Mn(II) (2) and Zn(II) (3). The structure of the [Fe(phen)(CN)(4)](-) complex ligand in 2 and 3 is close to that of the one in 1. The intramolecular Fe-M distances are 5.126(1) and 5.018(1) A in 2 and 3, respectively. 4 exhibits a neutral one-dimensional polymeric structure containing two types of [Fe(bipy)(CN)(4)](-) units acting as bismonodentate (Fe(1)) and trismonodentate (Fe(2)) ligands versus the divalent zinc cations through two cis-cyanide (Fe(1)) and three fac-cyanide (Fe(2)) groups. The environment of the iron atoms in 4 is distorted octahedral as in 1-3, whereas the zinc atom is pentacoordinated with five cyanide nitrogen atoms, describing a very distorted square pyramid. The iron-zinc separations across the single bridging cyanides are 5.013(1) and 5.142(1) A at Fe(1) and 5.028(1), 5.076(1), and 5.176(1) A at Fe(2). The magnetic properties of 1-3 have been investigated in the temperature range 2.0-300 K. 1 is a low-spin iron(III) complex with an important orbital contribution. The magnetic properties of 3 correspond to the sum of two magnetically isolated spin triplets, the antiferromagnetic coupling between the low-spin iron(III) centers through the -CN-Zn-NC- bridging skeleton (iron-iron separation larger than 10 A) being very weak. More interestingly, 2 exhibits a significant intramolecular antiferromagnetic interaction between the central spin sextet and peripheral spin doublets, leading to a low-lying spin quartet.  相似文献
