该文讨论了偶数阶边值问题 (-1)^m y^(2m)₌f(t,y), 0≤t≤1,a_i+1y⁽²ⁱ⁾ (0)-β_i+1y ⁽²ⁱ⁺¹⁾ (0)=0, γ_i+1y⁽²ⁱ⁾ (1)+δ_i+1y⁽²ⁱ⁺¹⁾ (1)=0,0≤i ≤m-1正解的存在性.借助于Leggett-Williams 不动点定理,建立了该问题存在三个及任意奇数个正解的充分条件.

Existence of Positive Solutions for Higher Order Boundary Value Problem on Time Scales

In this paper,we investigate the existence of positive solutions of a class higher order boundary value problems on time scales.The class of boundary value problems educes a four-point(or three-point or two-point) boundary value problems,for which some similar results are established.Our approach relies on the Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem.The result of this paper is new and extends previously known results.

Existence of Positive Solutions for a Nonlinear Second Order Periodic Boundary Value Problem

By using the first eigenvalue corresponding to the relevant linear operator and the topological degree theorem, sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions for a nonlinear second order periodic boundary value problem are given. Our results improve and generalize some preliminary works.

Positive Solutions to a Fourth Order Boundary Value Problem

The authors consider a fourth order two-point boundary value problem. Some a priori estimates to positive solutions for the problem are obtained. Explicit sufficient conditions for existence and nonexistence of positive solutions to the problem are established. An example to illustrate the results is included.
