In this paper, by the use of the weight coefficients, the transfer formula, Hermite-Hadamard''s inequality and the technique of real analysis, a more accurate multidimensional Hardy-Hilbert''s inequality with multi-parameters and a best possible constant factor is given, which is an extension of some published results. The stability of Nicholson''s blowflies equation with maturation stage is investigated by reducing the number of parameters in the original model. We derive the condition on the stability of the positive equilibrium of the model, and discuss the dependence of the stability on the parameters by analyzing geometrically the dependence of real parts of eigenvalues of the characteristic equation with fewer parameters on the parameters. By restoring parameters, the condition on the stability of the positive equilibrium of the original model are formulated explicitly, and the corresponding regions are depicted for some different cases. The obtained result shows that the parameter determining the maximum reproductive success of the population affects only the size of the positive equilibrium, but plays no role in determining its stability.  相似文献

By using the properties of w-distances and Gerstewitz's functions, we first give a vectorial Takahashi's nonconvex minimization theorem with a w-distance. From this, we deduce a general vectorial Ekeland's variational principle, where the objective function is from a complete metric space into a pre-ordered topological vector space and the perturbation contains a w-distance and a non-decreasing function of the objective function value. From the general vectorial variational principle, we deduce a vectorial Caristi's fixed point theorem with a w-distance. Finally we show that the above three theorems are equivalent to each other. The related known results are generalized and improved. In particular, some conditions in the theorems of [Y. Araya, Ekeland's variational principle and its equivalent theorems in vector optimization, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 346(2008), 9–16[ are weakened or even completely relieved.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate definable models of Peano Arithmetic PA in a model of PA. For any definable model N without parameters in a model M, we show that N is isomorphic to M if M is elementary extension of the standard model and N is elementarily equivalent to M. On the other hand, we show that there is a model M and a definable model N with parameters in M such that N is elementarily equivalent to M but N is not isomorphic to M. We also show that there is a model M and a definable model N with parameters in M such that N is elementarily equivalent to M, and N is isomorphic to M, but N is not definably isomorphic to M. And also, we give a generalization of Tennenbaum's theorem. At the end, we give a new method to construct a definable model by a refinement of Kotlarski's method. (© 2007 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In this paper, we first discuss some properties of the neutral operator with multiple variable coefficients $(Ax)(t):=x(t)-\sum\limits_{i=1}^{n}c_i(t)x(t-\delta_i)$. Afterwards, by using an extension of Mawhin''s continuation theorem, a kind of second order $p$-Laplacian neutral differential equation with multiple variable coefficients as follows $$\left(\phi_p\left(x(t)-\sum\limits_{i=1}^{n}c_i(t)x(t-\delta_i)\right)''\right)''=\tilde{f}(t,x(t),x''(t))$$ is studied. Finally, we consider the existence of periodic solutions for two kinds of second-order $p$-Laplacian neutral Rayleigh equations with singularity and without singularity. Some new results on the existence of periodic solutions are obtained. It is worth noting that $c_i$ ($i=1,\cdots,n$) are no longer constants which are different from the corresponding ones of past work.  相似文献

Summary In this work the following two conjectures concerning mean-value type functional equations are proved: then-dimensional octahedron and cube equations are equivalent (conjectured by D. Z. The dynamics of a discrete-time predator-prey system is investigated in detail in this paper. It is shown that the system undergoes flip bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation by using center manifold theorem and bifurcation theory. Furthermore, Marotto''s chaos is proved when some certain conditions are satisfied. Numerical simulations are presented not only to illustrate our results with the theoretical analysis, but also to exhibit the complex dynamical behaviors, such as the period-6, 7, 8, 10, 14, 18, 24, 36, 50 orbits, attracting invariant cycles, quasi-periodic orbits, nice chaotic behaviors which appear and disappear suddenly, coexisting chaotic attractors, etc. These results reveal far richer dynamics of the discrete-time predator-prey system. Specifically, we have stabilized the chaotic orbits at an unstable fixed point using the feedback control method.  相似文献

Klapper (1994) showed that there exists a class of geometric sequences with the maximal possible linear complexity when considered as sequences over $GF(2)$, but these sequences have very low linear complexities when considered as sequences over $GF(p)(p$ is an odd prime). This linear complexity of a binary sequence when considered as a sequence over $GF(p)$ is called $GF(p)$ complexity. This indicates that the binary sequences with high $GF(2)$ linear complexities are inadequate for security in the practical application, while, their $GF(p)$ linear complexities are also equally important, even when the only concern is with attacks using the Berlekamp-Massey algorithm [Massey, J. L., Shift-register synthesis and bch decoding, {\it IEEE Transactions on Information Theory}, {\bf 15}(1), 1969, 122--127]. From this perspective, in this paper the authors study the $GF(p)$ linear complexity of Hall''s sextic residue sequences and some known cyclotomic-set-based sequences.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of location and existence of limit cycles for real planar polynomial differential systems. We provide a method to construct Poincar\''e--Bendixson regions by using transversal curves, that enables us to prove the existence of a limit cycle that has been numerically detected. We apply our results to several known systems, like the Brusselator one or some Li\''{e}nard systems, to prove the existence of the limit cycles and to locate them very precisely in the phase space. Our method, combined with some other classical tools can be applied to obtain sharp bounds for the bifurcation values of a saddle-node bifurcation of limit cycles, as we do for the Rychkov system.  相似文献
