For a constant $\alpha \in (-\frac{\pi }{2},\frac{\pi }{2})$ and $0\!\le \!\rho \!<\!1,$ we define the set of all $\alpha $ -spiral-like functions of order $\rho $ consisting of functions $f$ that are univalent on the unit disk and satisfy the condition $ Re\left(e^{-i\alpha }\frac{zf^{\prime }(z)}{f(z)}\right)>\rho \cos \alpha $ for any point $z$ in the unit disk. In the present paper, we shall give the best estimate for the norm of the pre-Schwarzian derivative ${\text{ T}}_f(z)=f^{\prime \prime }(z)/f^{\prime }(z)$ where $||T_f||= \sup (1-|z|^2)|T_f(z)|$ .  相似文献

Let $\mathcal N (t)$ , $t\ge 0$ , be the Nehari class of locally injective holomorphic functions on the unit disk $\mathbb D $ that satisfy $$\begin{aligned} \sup _{z\in \mathbb D }\big (1-|z|^2\big )^2|S_f(z)| \le 2t, \end{aligned}$$ where $S_f = f^{\prime \prime \prime }/f^{\prime } - (3/2)\big (f^{\prime \prime }/f^{\prime }\big )^2$ is the Schwarzian derivative of $f$ . Sharp two-point upper and lower distortion theorems for these functions were recently established by Chuaqui, Duren, Ma, Mejia, Minda and Osgood. A classical result of Krauss shows that all univalent functions on $\mathbb D $ lie in $\mathcal N (3)$ . There are two different two-point upper distortion theorems for univalent functions due to Jenkins, Ma and Minda, and Kraus and Roth. Two similar two-point upper distortion theorems hold for $\mathcal N (t)$ . These two-point upper distortion theorems for $\mathcal N (3)$ are the known two-point upper distortion theorems for univalent functions, so the latter are actually valid for the larger class $\mathcal N (3)$ . Two-point distortion theorems for $\mathcal N (t)$ imply local uniform control in the hyperbolic sense on absolute cross-ratio distortion for functions in $\mathcal N (t)$ .  相似文献

Suppose that f is a holomorphic self map of the unit disk ${\mathbb{D}}$ . Recently several monotonicity results related to the image of smaller disks under f have been proved. These results extend the classical Schwarz lemma in various ways. We prove analogous monotonicity results in the context of Julia’s boundary Schwarz lemma. A horodisk is a disk internally tangent to the unit circle. For positive ${\lambda}$ , we denote by ${H_{\lambda}}$ the disk of radius ${\lambda/(1\,+\,\lambda)}$ centered at the point ${1/(1\,+\,\lambda)}$ . This is a horodisk that touches the unit circle at the point 1. Suppose that f(1) = 1 (in the sense of radial limit) and denote by ${f^{\prime}(1)}$ the angular derivative. By Julia’s lemma ${f(H_{\lambda})\,\subset H_{{\lambda}f^{\prime}(1)}}$ . Let ${\Psi_f(\lambda)\,=\,\inf\,\{\rho > 0 : f(H_{\lambda}) \subset H_\rho\}}$ . We show that the function ${\Psi_f(\lambda)/\lambda}$ is a decreasing function of ${\lambda}$ and that ${\lim_{\lambda\,\to\,0+} \Psi_f(\lambda)/\lambda = f^\prime(1)}$ . This result implies that the constant ${f^\prime(1)}$ in Julia’s lemma is the best possible.  相似文献

Let ${G: \mathbb {C}^{n-1} \rightarrow \mathbb {C}}$ be holomorphic such that G(0)?=?0 and DG(0)?=?0. When f is a convex (resp. starlike) normalized (f(0)?=?0, f??(0)?=?1) univalent mapping of the unit disk ${\mathbb {D}}$ in ${\mathbb {C}}$ , then the extension of f to the Euclidean unit ball ${\mathbb {B}}$ in ${\mathbb {C}^n}$ given by ${\Phi_G(f)(z)=(f(z_1)+G(\sqrt{f^{\prime}(z_1)} \, \hat{z}),\sqrt{f^{\prime}(z_1)}\, \hat{z})}$ , ${\hat{z}=(z_2,\dots,z_n) \in \mathbb {C}^{n-1}}$ , is known to be convex (resp. starlike) if G is a homogeneous polynomial of degree 2 with sufficiently small norm. Conversely, it is known that G cannot have terms of degree greater than 2 in its expansion about 0 in order for ${\Phi_G(f)}$ to be convex (resp. starlike), in general. We examine whether the restriction that f be either convex or starlike of a certain order ${\alpha \in (0,1]}$ allows, in general, for G to contain terms of degree greater than 2 and still have ${\Phi_G(f)}$ maintain the respective geometric property. Related extension results for convex and starlike Bloch mappings are also given.  相似文献

Let $r$ be a prime and $G$ be a finite group, and let $R, \,S$ be Sylow $r$ -subgroups of $G$ and $\text{ PGL }(2, r)$ respectively. We prove the following results: (1) If $|G|=|\text{ PGL }(2, r)|$ and $|N_{G}(R)|=|N_{\mathrm{PGL}(2, r)} (S)|$ and $r$ is not a Mersenne prime, then $G$ is isomorphic to $\text{ PSL } (2, r) \times C_{2}, \,\text{ SL }(2, r)$ or $\text{ PGL }(2, r)$ . (2) If $|G|=|\text{ PGL }(2, r)|, \,|N_{G}(R)|=|N_{\mathrm{PGL}(2, r)}(S)|$ where $r>3$ is a Mersenne prime and $r$ is an isolated vertex of the prime graph of $G$ , then $G\cong \text{ PGL }(2, r)$ .  相似文献

We prove that for each universal algebra ${(A, \mathcal{A})}$ of cardinality ${|A| \geq 2}$ and infinite set X of cardinality ${|X| \geq | \mathcal{A}|}$ , the X-th power ${(A^{X}, \mathcal{A}^{X})}$ of the algebra ${(A, \mathcal{A})}$ contains a free subset ${\mathcal{F} \subset A^{X}}$ of cardinality ${|\mathcal{F}| = 2^{|X|}}$ . This generalizes the classical Fichtenholtz–Kantorovitch–Hausdorff result on the existence of an independent family ${\mathcal{I} \subset \mathcal{P}(X)}$ of cardinality ${|\mathcal{I}| = |\mathcal{P}(X)|}$ in the Boolean algebra ${\mathcal{P}(X)}$ of subsets of an infinite set X.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that every lax generalized Veronesean embedding of the Hermitian unital ${\mathcal{U}}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(2,\mathbb{L}), \mathbb{L}}$ a quadratic extension of the field ${\mathbb{K}}$ and ${|\mathbb{K}| \geq 3}$ , in a ${\mathsf{PG}(d,\mathbb{F})}$ , with ${\mathbb{F}}$ any field and d ≥ 7, such that disjoint blocks span disjoint subspaces, is the standard Veronesean embedding in a subgeometry ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{F})}$ (and d = 7) or it consists of the projection from a point ${p \in \mathcal{U}}$ of ${\mathcal{U}{\setminus} \{p\}}$ from a subgeometry ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{F})}$ into a hyperplane ${\mathsf{PG}(6,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ . In order to do so, when ${|\mathbb{K}| >3 }$ we strongly use the linear representation of the affine part of ${\mathcal{U}}$ (the line at infinity being secant) as the affine part of the generalized quadrangle ${\mathsf{Q}(4,\mathbb{K})}$ (the solid at infinity being non-singular); when ${|\mathbb{K}| =3}$ , we use the connection of ${\mathcal{U}}$ with the generalized hexagon of order 2.  相似文献

We consider semi-infinite programming problems ${{\rm SIP}(z)}$ depending on a finite dimensional parameter ${z \in \mathbb{R}^p}$ . Provided that ${\bar{x}}$ is a strongly stable stationary point of ${{\rm SIP}(\bar{z})}$ , there exists a locally unique and continuous stationary point mapping ${z \mapsto x(z)}$ . This defines the local critical value function ${\varphi(z) := f(x(z); z)}$ , where ${x \mapsto f(x; z)}$ denotes the objective function of ${{\rm SIP}(z)}$ for a given parameter vector ${z\in \mathbb{R}^p}$ . We show that ${\varphi}$ is the sum of a convex function and a smooth function. In particular, this excludes the appearance of negative kinks in the graph of ${\varphi}$ .  相似文献

Let T be an infinite set of prime numbers, $ \mathcal{M} $ be a set of groups $ \left\{ {\left. {\mathbb{Z}(p)} \right|p \in T} \right\} $ . An Abelian group A is said to be $ \mathcal{M} $ -large if $$ {\text{Hom}}\left( {A,\;\mathop { \bigoplus }\limits_{p \in T} \mathbb{Z}(p)} \right) = {\text{Hom}}\left( {A,\;\prod\limits_{p \in T} {\mathbb{Z}(p)} } \right). $$ This paper presents a characterization of $ \mathcal{M} $ -large torsion-free and mixed groups.  相似文献

Given non-negative integers $r, s,$ and $t,$ an $[r,s,t]$ -coloring of a graph $G = (V(G),E(G))$ is a mapping $c$ from $V(G) \cup E(G)$ to the color set $\{1,\ldots ,k\}$ such that $\left|c(v_i) - c(v_j)\right| \ge r$ for every two adjacent vertices $v_i,v_j, \left|c({e_i}) - c(e_j)\right| \ge s$ for every two adjacent edges $e_i,e_j,$ and $\left|c(v_i) - c(e_j)\right| \ge t$ for all pairs of incident vertices and edges, respectively. The $[r,s,t]$ -chromatic number $\chi _{r,s,t}(G)$ of $G$ is defined to be the minimum $k$ such that $G$ admits an $[r,s,t]$ -coloring. In this note we examine $\chi _{1,1,t}(K_p)$ for complete graphs $K_p.$ We prove, among others, that $\chi _{1,1,t}(K_p)$ is equal to $p+t-2+\min \{p,t\}$ whenever $t \ge \left\lfloor {\frac{p}{2}}\right\rfloor -1,$ but is strictly larger if $p$ is even and sufficiently large with respect to $t.$ Moreover, as $p \rightarrow \infty $ and $t=t(p),$ we asymptotically have $\chi _{1,1,t}(K_p)=p+o(p)$ if and only if $t=o(p).$   相似文献

Let ${(\mathcal{M}, \tilde{g})}$ be an N-dimensional smooth compact Riemannian manifold. We consider the problem ${\varepsilon^2 \triangle_{\tilde{g}} \tilde{u} + V(\tilde{z})\tilde{u}(1-\tilde{u}^2)=0\; {\rm in}\; \mathcal{M}}$ , where ${\varepsilon > 0}$ is a small parameter and V is a positive, smooth function in ${\mathcal{M}}$ . Let ${\kappa \subset \mathcal{M}}$ be an (N ? 1)-dimensional smooth submanifold that divides ${\mathcal{M}}$ into two disjoint components ${\mathcal{M}_{\pm}}$ . We assume κ is stationary and non-degenerate relative to the weighted area functional ${\int_{\kappa}V^{\frac{1}{2}}}$ . For each integer m ≥ 2, we prove the existence of a sequence ${\varepsilon = \varepsilon_\ell \rightarrow 0}$ , and two opposite directional solutions with m-transition layers near κ, whose mutual distance is ${{\rm O}(\varepsilon | \log \varepsilon | )}$ . Moreover, the interaction between neighboring layers is governed by a type of Jacobi–Toda system.  相似文献

Given ${\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ open, connected and with Lipschitz boundary, and ${s\in (0, 1)}$ , we consider the functional $$\mathcal{J}_s(E,\Omega)\,=\, \int_{E\cap \Omega}\int_{E^c\cap\Omega}\frac{dxdy}{|x-y|^{n+s}}+\int_{E\cap \Omega}\int_{E^c\cap \Omega^c}\frac{dxdy}{|x-y|^{n+s}}\,+ \int_{E\cap \Omega^c}\int_{E^c\cap \Omega}\frac{dxdy}{|x-y|^{n+s}},$$ where ${E\subset\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ is an arbitrary measurable set. We prove that the functionals ${(1-s)\mathcal{J}_s(\cdot, \Omega)}$ are equi-coercive in ${L^1_{\rm loc}(\Omega)}$ as ${s\uparrow 1}$ and that $$\Gamma-\lim_{s\uparrow 1}(1-s)\mathcal{J}_s(E,\Omega)=\omega_{n-1}P(E,\Omega),\quad \text{for every }E\subset\mathbb{R}^{n}\,{\rm measurable}$$ where P(E, ??) denotes the perimeter of E in ?? in the sense of De Giorgi. We also prove that as ${s\uparrow 1}$ limit points of local minimizers of ${(1-s)\mathcal{J}_s(\cdot,\Omega)}$ are local minimizers of P(·, ??).  相似文献

In this paper we solve the ${\overline{\partial }}$ -problem along the leaves for two types of laminations: (i) Some open sets Ω of ${{\mathbb C}\times B}$ (where B is any differentiable manifold) endowed with the canonical foliation that is, the foliation whose leaves are the sections ${\Omega ^t=\{ z\in {\mathbb C}:(z,t)\in \Omega \}}$ . We construct a solution to the equation ${\overline{\partial }h=fd\overline z}$ for any function ${f:\Omega\longrightarrow {\mathbb C}}$ of class ${C^{s}\,(s\in \mathbb{N}\cup\{ \infty \}),\,C^\infty}$ along the leaves and satisfies some growth conditions near the singularities. (ii) A complex lamination by Riemann surfaces obtained by suspending a homeomorphism of a closed set of the Euclidean space ${\mathbb{C}\times \mathbb{R}}$ .  相似文献

For an analytic self-map ?? of the unit disk ${\mathbb{D}}$ and an analytic function g on ${\mathbb{D}}$ , we define the following integral type operators: $$T_{\varphi}^{g}f(z) := \int_{0}^{z} f(\varphi(\zeta))g(\zeta) d\zeta\quad {\rm and}\quad C_{\varphi}^{g}f(z) := \int_{0}^{z}f^{\prime}(\varphi(\zeta))g(\zeta) d\zeta$$ . We give a characterization for the boundedness and compactness of these operators from the weighted Bergman space ${L_{a}^p(dA_{\alpha})}$ into the ??-Zygmund space ${\mathcal{Z}_{\beta}}$ . We will also estimate the essential norm of these type of operators. As an application of results, we characterize the above operator-theoretic properties of Volterra type integral operators and composition operators.  相似文献

Given Banach spaces X and Y, we show that, for each operator-valued analytic map ${\alpha \in \mathcal O (D,\mathcal L(Y,X))}$ satisfying the finiteness condition ${\dim (X/\alpha (z)Y) < \infty}$ pointwise on an open set D in ${\mathbb {C}^n}$ , the induced multiplication operator ${\mathcal O(U,Y) \stackrel{\alpha}{\longrightarrow} \mathcal O (U,X)}$ has closed range on each Stein open set ${U \subset D}$ . As an application we deduce that the generalized range ${{\rm R}^{\infty}(T) = \bigcap_{k \geq 1}\sum_{| \alpha | = k} T^{\alpha}X}$ of a commuting multioperator ${T \in \mathcal L(X)^n}$ with ${\dim(X/\sum_{i=1}^n T_iX) < \infty}$ can be represented as a suitable spectral subspace.  相似文献

For an entire function \(f:\mathbb C\mapsto \mathbb C\) and a triple \((p,\alpha , r)\in (0,\infty )\times (-\infty ,\infty )\times (0,\infty ]\) , the Gaussian integral mean of \(f\) (with respect to the area measure \(dA\) ) is defined by $$\begin{aligned} {\mathsf M}_{p,\alpha }(f,r)=\left( \,\, {\int \limits _{|z| Via deriving a maximum principle for \({\mathsf M}_{p,\alpha }(f,r)\) , we establish not only Fock–Sobolev trace inequalities associated with \({\mathsf M}_{p,p/2}(z^m f(z),\infty )\) (as \(m=0,1,2,\ldots \) ), but also convexities of \(r\mapsto \ln {\mathsf M}_{p,\alpha }(z^m,r)\) and \(r\mapsto {\mathsf M}_{2,\alpha <0}(f,r)\) in \(\ln r\) with \(0 .  相似文献

Let A be an expansive dilation on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ and w a Muckenhoupt ${\mathcal A_\infty(A)}$ weight. In this paper, for all parameters ${\alpha\in{\mathbb R} }$ and ${p,q\in(0,\infty)}$ , the authors identify the dual spaces of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ with some new weighted Besov-type and Triebel?CLizorkin-type spaces. The corresponding results on anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ associated with ${\rho_A}$ -doubling measure??? are also established. All results are new even for the classical weighted Besov and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces in the isotropic setting. In particular, the authors also obtain the ${\varphi}$ -transform characterization of the dual spaces of the classical weighted Hardy spaces on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ .  相似文献

We consider a variant of the Cops and Robber game, in which the robber has unbounded speed, i.e., can take any path from her vertex in her turn, but she is not allowed to pass through a vertex occupied by a cop. Let ${c_{\infty}(G)}$ denote the number of cops needed to capture the robber in a graph G in this variant. We characterize graphs G with c ??(G) =? 1, and give an ${O( \mid V(G)\mid^2)}$ algorithm for their detection. We prove a lower bound for c ?? of expander graphs, and use it to prove three things. The first is that if ${np \geq 4.2 {\rm log}n}$ then the random graph ${G= \mathcal{G}(n, p)}$ asymptotically almost surely has ${\eta_{1}/p \leq \eta_{2}{\rm log}(np)/p}$ , for suitable positive constants ${\eta_{1}}$ and ${\eta_{2}}$ . The second is that a fixed-degree random regular graph G with n vertices asymptotically almost surely has ${c_{\infty}(G) = \Theta(n)}$ . The third is that if G is a Cartesian product of m paths, then ${n/4km^2 \leq c_{\infty}(G) \leq n/k}$ , where ${n = \mid V(G)\mid}$ and k is the number of vertices of the longest path.  相似文献
