The main purpose of this paper is to derive a new ( p, q)-atomic decomposition on the multi-parameter Hardy space Hp (X1 × X2 ) for 0 p0 p ≤ 1 for some p0 and all 1 q ∞, where X1 × X2 is the product of two spaces of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss. This decomposition converges in both Lq (X1 × X2 ) (for 1 q ∞) and Hardy space Hp (X1 × X2 ) (for 0 p ≤ 1). As an application, we prove that an operator T1, which is bounded on Lq (X1 × X2 ) for some 1 q ∞, is bounded from Hp (X1 × X2 ) to Lp (X1 × X2 ) if and only if T is bounded uniformly on all (p, q)-product atoms in Lp (X1 × X2 ). The similar boundedness criterion from Hp (X1 × X2 ) to Hp (X1 × X2 ) is also obtained.  相似文献

Fulton and MacPherson (Ann. Math. 139 (1994) 183) found a Sullivan dg-algebra model for the space of n-configurations of a smooth complex projective variety X. K?í? (Ann. Math. 139 (1994) 227) gave a simpler model, En(H), depending only on the cohomology ring, H?H*X.We construct an even simpler and smaller model, Jn(H). We then define another new dg-algebra, En(H°), and use Jn(H) to prove that En(H°) is a model of the space of n-configurations of the non-compact punctured manifold X°, when X is 1-connected. Following an idea of Drinfel’d (Leningrad Math. J. 2 (1991) 829), we put a simplicial bigraded differential algebra structure on {En(H°)}n?0.  相似文献

Let(X,d,μ) be an RD-space with "dimension" n,namely,a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman and Weiss satisfying a certain reverse doubling condition.Using the Calder'on reproducing formula, the authors hereby establish boundedness for paraproduct operators from the product of Hardy spaces H p(X) × H q(X) to the Hardy space H r(X),where p,q,r ∈(n/(n + 1),∞) satisfy 1/p + 1/q = 1/r.Certain endpoint estimates are also obtained. In view of the lack of the Fourier transform in this setting, the proofs are based on the derivation of appropriate kernel estimates.  相似文献

An extension of the Tychonoff theorem is obtained in characterizing a compact space by the nets and the images induced by any family of continuous functions on it. The idea of this extension is applied to get a new process and new observations of compactifications and the realcompactification. Finally, a sufficient and necessary condition of a vector sublattice or a subalgebra of C1(X) to be dense in (C1(X),∥·∥) is provided in terms of the nets in X induced by C1(X), where C1(X) is the space of all bounded real continuous functions on a topological space X with pointwise ordering, and ∥·∥ is the supremum norm.  相似文献

Let X be a smooth complex projective variety and let Z ? X be a smooth submanifold of dimension ≥ 2, which is the zero locus of a section of an ample vector bundle ? of rank dim X ? dim Z ≥ 2 on X. Let H be an ample line bundle on X, whose restriction H Z to Z is generated by global sections. The structure of triplets (X,?,H) as above is described under the assumption that the curve genus of the corank-1 vector bundle ?H ⊕ (dim Z?1) is ≤ h 1( X ) + 2.  相似文献

Let X be a 1-connected space with free-loop space ΛX. We introduce two spectral sequences converging towards H*(ΛX;Z/p) and H*((ΛX)hT;Z/p). The E2-terms are certain non-Abelian-derived functors applied to H*(X;Z/p). When H*(X;Z/p) is a polynomial algebra, the spectral sequences collapse for more or less trivial reasons. If X is a sphere it is a surprising fact that the spectral sequences collapse for p=2.  相似文献

We define, in a purely algebraic way, 1-motives Alb+(X), Alb(X), Pic+(X), and Pic(X) associated with any algebraic scheme X over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. For X over C of dimension n, the Hodge realizations are, respectively, H2n − 1 (X, Z(n))/(torsion), H1 (X, Z)/(torsion), H1 (X, Z(1)), and H2n − 1 (X, Z(1 n))/(torsion).  相似文献

We work in the set theory without the Axiom of Choice ZF. Given a linearly ordered set X, the (closed) subset H(X,[0,1]) of the product topological space [0,1] X consisting of the isotonic mappings u:X ??[0,1] is (Loeb-)compact. The compactness of $H(\mathbb R,L)$ where L is the lexicographic order [0,1] ×{0,1} is not provable (in ZF). Radon measures on a complete linearly ordered set X are studied: they are of Radon?CStieltjes type; moreover, the ??dual ball?? of the Banach space C(X) is (Loeb-)compact in the weak* topology, and the Banach space C(X) satisfies the (effective) continuous Hahn?CBanach property.  相似文献

Let X be a completely regular Hausdorff space and let H be a subset of C1(X) which separates points and closed sets. By embedding X into a cube whose factors are indexed by H, a Hausdorff compactification eHX of X is obtained. Given two subsets F and G of C1(X) which separate points from closed sets, in the present paper we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the equivalence of eFX and eGX. The condition is expressed in terms of the space X and the sets F and G alone, herewith solving a question raised by Chandler.  相似文献

For a metric space X, we study the space D(X) of bounded functions on X whose pointwise Lipschitz constant is uniformly bounded. D(X) is compared with the space LIP(X) of bounded Lipschitz functions on X, in terms of different properties regarding the geometry of X. We also obtain a Banach-Stone theorem in this context. In the case of a metric measure space, we also compare D(X) with the Newtonian-Sobolev space N1,∞(X). In particular, if X supports a doubling measure and satisfies a local Poincaré inequality, we obtain that D(X)=N1,∞(X).  相似文献

We study the category 𝒞(X, Y) generated by an exceptional pair (X, Y) in a hereditary category ?. If r = dim k Hom(X, Y) ≥ 1 we show that there are exactly 3 possible types for 𝒞(X, Y), all derived equivalent to the category of finite dimensional modules mod(H r ) over the r-Kronecker algebra H r . In general 𝒞(X, Y) will not be equivalent to a module category. More specifically, if ? is the category of coherent sheaves over a weighted projective line 𝕏, then 𝒞(X, Y) is equivalent to the category of coherent sheaves on the projective line ?1 or to mod(H r ) and, if 𝕏 is wild, then every r ≥ 1 can occur in this way.  相似文献

This study looks at some subgroups of the group H(C(X)) of homeomorphisms on the space C(X) of continuous real-valued functions on a topological space X, where C(X) has the compact-open topology. The main result shows that, for certain spaces X, the subgroup of H(C(X)) generated by the algebraic and vertical homeomorphisms on C(X) is dense in H(C(X)) with the pointwise topology. Also, for X equal to the unit interval, a subgroup of H(C(X)) is developed using integration of the members of C(X), and this subgroup is used as an example and to illustrate certain properties that subgroups of H(C(X)) can have.  相似文献

Let X be a Banach space, (I, μ) be a finite measure space. By L Φ(I, X), let us denote the space of all X-valued Bochner Orlicz integrable functions on the unit interval I equipped with the Luxemburg norm. A closed bounded subset G of X is called remotal if for any x ∈ X, there exists g ∈ G such that ‖x ? g‖ = ρ(x, G) = sup {‖x ? y‖: y ∈ G}. In this article, we show that for a separable remotal set G ? X, the set of Bochner integrable functions, L Φ(I, G) is remotal in L Φ(I, X). Some other results are presented.  相似文献

The monic quadratic polynomials f with integer coefficients such that each commutative finite-dimensional algebra over a field contains only finitely many roots of f are determined as the polynomials of the form f = X 2 + (2m + 1)X + m 2 + m, where ${m \in \mathbb{Z}}$ .  相似文献

We study a family of unbounded Hermitian operators in Hilbert space which generalize the usual graph-theoretic discrete Laplacian. For an infinite discrete set X, we consider operators acting on Hilbert spaces of functions on X, and their representations as infinite matrices; the focus is on ?2(X), and the energy space HE. In particular, we prove that these operators are always essentially self-adjoint on ?2(X), but may fail to be essentially self-adjoint on HE. In the general case, we examine the von Neumann deficiency indices of these operators and explore their relevance in mathematical physics. Finally we study the spectra of the HE operators with the use of a new approximation scheme.  相似文献

Abstract

For a canonical threefold X, we know that h 0(X, 𝒪 X (nK X )) ≥ 1 for a sufficiently large n. When χ(𝒪 X ) > 0, it is not easy to get such an integer n. Fletcher showed that h 0(X, 𝒪 X (12K X )) ≥ 1 and h 0(X, 𝒪 X (24K X )) ≥ 2 when χ(𝒪 X ) = 1. He inquired about existence of a canonical threefold with given conditions which shows the result sharp. We show that such an example does not exist. Using a different technique, we prove h 0(X, 𝒪 X (12K X )) ≥ 2.  相似文献

Let H = X? R A denote an R-smash product of the two bialgebras X and A. We prove that (X,A) is a pair of matched bialgebras, if the R-smash product H has a braiding structure. When X is an associative algebra and A is a Hopf algebra, we investigate the global dimension and the weak dimension of the smash product H = X? R A and show that lD(H) ≤ rD(A) + lD(X) and wD(H) ≤ wD(A) + wD(X). As an application, we get lD(H 4) = ∞ for Sweedler's four dimensional Hopf algebra H 4. We also study the associativity of smash products and the relations between smash products and factorization for algebras.  相似文献

Let B be a unital C1-algebra and A = Γ(E) be the C1-algebra of sections of a bundle over the separable compact space X with fibre B and structure group Inn B. If B is the quotient of an AW1-algebra, then an exact sequence: 0 → Inn A → PInn AηH2(X, G), where PInn A is the group of pointwise inner automorphisms of A and G=H°(Z(B)^, Z) is obtained. The map η is onto whenever A = C(X, B) and B is the quotient of a purely infinite AW1-algebra. An essential part of the analysis is the result that Ad: U(B) → Inn B is a fibre bundle if and only if the space of inner derivations of B is norm closed. These results extend and clarify previous joint work with I. Raeburn (Indiana Univ. Math. J.29 (1980), 799).  相似文献
