We investigate the dynamics of genuine three-qubit entanglement in the Ising model of three spins. A scheme is presented for generating the genuine three-qubit entanglement by the nearest-neighbour couplings. The boundary quantum entanglement for the s = 1/2 X X Z spin chain with boundary impurities is studied via the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) method. It is shown that the entanglement entropy of the boundary bond (the impurity and the chain spin next to it) behaves differently in different phases. The relationship between the singular points of the boundary entropy and boundary quantum critical points is discussed.  相似文献

We propose a physical realization of symmetric telecloning machine for spin quantum states. The concept of area average fidelity is introduced to describe the telecloning quality. It is indicated that for certain input states this quantity may come to an enough high level to satisfy the need of quantum information processing. We also study the properties of entanglement distribution via the spin chain for arbitrary two-qubit entangled pure states as inputs and find that the decay ratio of entanglement for the output states is only determined by the parameters of spin chain and waiting time, independent of the initial input states.  相似文献

Taking the decoherence effect due to population relaxation into account, we investigate the entanglement properties for two qubits in the Heisenberg XY interaction and subject to an external magnetic field. It is found that the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death (ESD) as well as sudden birth (ESB) appear during the evolution process for particular initial states. The influence of the external magnetic field and the spin environment on ESD and ESB are addressed in detail. It is shown that the concurrence, a measure of entanglement, can be controlled by tuning the parameters of the spin chain, such as the anisotropic parameter, external magnetic field, and the coupling strength with their environment. In particular, we find that a critical anisotropy constant exists, above which ESB vanishes while ESD appears. It is also notable that stable entanglement, which is independent of different initial states of the qubits, occurs even in the presence of decoherence.  相似文献

The impurities of exchange couplings, external magnetic fields and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction considered as Gaussian distribution, and the entanglement in one-dimensional random XY spin systems is investigated by the method of solving the different spin-spin correlation functions and the average magnetization per spin. The entanglement dynamics at central locations of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic chains have been studied by varying the three impurities and the strength of DM interaction. (i) For the ferromagnetic spin chain, the weak DM interaction can improve the amount of entanglement to a large value, and the impurities have the opposite effect on the entanglement below and above critical DM interaction. (ii) For the antiferromagnetic spin chain, DM interaction can enhance the entanglement to a steady value. Our results imply that DM interaction strength, the impurity and exchange couplings (or magnetic field) play competing roles in enhancing quantum entanglement.  相似文献

We study the thermal entanglement properties of a simple system that includes three spins inhomogeneously coupled between them with additional anisotropy in their couplings. The main result is the systematic analysis of the concurrence evolution as functions of inhomogeneity, anisotropy and temperature. By adjusting proportional factor of the interaction J and anisotropy parameter △, the comparison between concurrences C12 andC13 is also presented.  相似文献

Quantum entanglement of two stretches in molecule H2S is investigated for various initial states in terms of the reduced-density yon Neumann entropy and the mean entropy defined by average over time. It is shown that the maximal and the mean entropies of an initial state with local-mode character are smaller than those with normal-mode character, and the mean entropy displays a maximum near the position of the normal-to-local transition.  相似文献

A multi-partite-controlled quantum secret sharing scheme using several non-orthogonal entanglement states is presented with unconditional security. In this scheme, the participants share the secret quantum state by exchanging the secret polarization angles of the disordered travel particles. The security of the secret quantum state is also guaranteed by the non-orthogonal multi-partite-controlled entanglement states, the participants' secret polarizations, and the disorder of the travelling particles. Moreover, the present scheme is secure against the particle-number splitting attack and the intercept-and-resend attack. It may be still secure even if the distributed quantum state is embedded in a not-so-weak coherent-state pulse.  相似文献

We study the effects of purity on entanglement dynamics of a multipartite system in cavity QED. Three two-level atoms A, B and C are initially prepared in an entangled state and locally coupled with independent cavities a, b and c, respectively. We consider the effects of purity of atomic initial state on the entanglement evolution of both the systems of atoms and cavities. It is found that depending on the purity of atomic initial state, the entanglement of atoms (cavities) may or may not exhibit the sudden death (birth) phenomenon.  相似文献

In light of a quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) scheme using entanglement swapping [Chin. Phys. Lett. 22 (2005)18], by introducing additional local operations for encoding, we propose a bidirectional QSDC (BQSDC) protocol, in which two legitimate users can simultaneously exchange their respective messages. The rule for the users to retrieve his/her partner's messages is derived explicitly in the most general case. Eve's commonly used attack method has been discussed and can be detected with the security checking process.  相似文献

A quantum phase transition from a no-energy-current phase to energy-current phase is found when the magnetic field changes. The pairwise entanglement between neighboring spins in a general mixed-spin chain with arbitrary spins S and 1/2 is investigated in the thermodynamical limit. The entanglement is witnessed by the magnetic susceptibility which determines a characteristic temperature for an entangled thermal state. The characteristic temperature is nearly proportional to the interaction J and the mixed-spin S. The bound of negativity is obtained on the basis of the magnetic susceptibility. It is found that the macroscopic magnetic properties are affected by the quantum entanglement in the real solids.  相似文献

Any 8-qubit graph state belongs to one of the 101 equivalence classes under local unitary operations within the Clifford group. For each of these classes we obtain a representative which requires the minimum number of controlled-Z gates for its preparation, and calculate the Schmidt measure for the 8-partite split, and the Schmidt ranks for all bipartite splits. We present an effective scheme to teleport an unknown ionic entangled internal state via trapped ions without joint Bell-state measurement. In the constructed quantum channel process, we adopt entanglement swapping to avoid decrease of entanglement during the distribution of particles. Thus our scheme provides new prospects for quantum teleportation over longer distance. The distinct advantages of our scheme are that our scheme is insensitive to heating of vibrational mode and can be generalized to teleport an N-ion electronic entangled GHZ class state. Entanglement dynamics of anharmonic vibrations in molecule O3 is studied in terms of the linear entropy and negativity with various initial states that are, respectively, taken to be the mixed density matrices of coherent states on each normal mode. It is shown that with a suitable parameter in initial states, the entropy in one mode can be positively correlated or anti-correlated with negativity. The behavior of correlation between two entropies for two modes, negativity, and mutual entropy is discussed as well.  相似文献
