The impact test in structural parts for dynamic applications is an essential procedure for their certification in the presence of time dependent loads. In the case of beam elements, either built with one material or as an assembly of different material members joined with recent developed bonding techniques, an impact test is of leading importance, once the dynamic resistance of the joints involved in the beam fabrication is assessed and evaluated. The pseudo-dynamic method is an alternative to dynamic analysis of structures, here offering to the researcher the possibility of examining with detail the specimen in test for the initiation and progress of eventual damage mechanisms arising in the beam element joints whenever included in the design. 相似文献

Numerical simulation: The dynamic behavior of reinforced concrete plates under normal impact 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
This investigation deals with the use of the finite element method on the reinforced concrete structural dynamic response and failure behavior when subjected to the projectile impacts of different velocities, using the test conducted in [S.J. Hanchak, M.J. Forrestal, E.R. Young, J.Q. Ehrgott, Perforation of concrete slabs with 48 MPa (7 ksi) and 140 MPa (20 ksi) unconfined compressive strengths, Int. J. Impact Eng. 12 (1992) 1–7]. The Johnson–Holmquist concrete material constitutive law model is employed to simulate the large strains, high strain states and high pressures to which the concrete is subjected. The projectile impact velocity ranges from 381 m/s to 1058 m/s. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the Johnson–Holmquist concrete material constitutive model can describe the different failure modes without any predefined defects in the element mesh, and normally obtain good agreement between the numerical simulations and test results. 相似文献

In this paper we describe a new method for measuring damping in flexural vibration of filamentous matter, such as polymeric
or metallic fibers. This method enables us to measure the damping characteristics of very thin fibers (down to lateral dimensions
of a few micrometers). The fiber sample is clamped at one extremity and excited in the flexural vibration mode of a cantilever
beam configuration, using a piezoelectric actuator. While the fiber sample vibrates around a flexural eigenfrequency, structural
damping is determined from the measurement of the curve of phase difference between excitation and motion. This technique
does not require the amplitude of the fiber motion to be determined. The phase curve is inferred from the periodic disturbance
occurring when the fiber acts as a shutter for a light beam. This method can be applied to fibers of arbitrary shape and material.
Examples are shown of measurements with polymer and metallic fibers. Flexural damping is evaluated at atmospheric pressure
and in vacuum. The technique is validated by a comparison with polypropylene damping measurements from standard dynamic mechanical

A simplified model of cracking and damage in RC circular elements is proposed. The model can be used for the structural assessment of arches and rings. The constitutive equations are based on lumped damage mechanics which is an adaptation of fracture and continuum damage mechanics to the theory of frames with plastic hinges. An arch element is assumed to be the assemblage of an elastic circular component and two inelastic hinges where the main inelastic effects, plastic yielding of the longitudinal reinforcement and concrete cracking, are concentrated. Deformations in the elastic part are assumed to be small but the model may include some geometrically nonlinear effects due to large displacements or rotations of the hinges. The numerical examples presented in the paper show that the model describes correctly the global behavior of two structures including the softening phase. 相似文献

腹筋对连续深梁剪切破坏影响的有限元分析 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
我国现行混凝土结构设计规范关于腹筋对深梁抗剪承载力影响的考虑,主要基于简支深梁的试验数据和计算模型,相关规定对于连续深梁的适用性有待验证。腹筋对连续深梁抗剪性能的影响机理十分复杂,系统的试验研究较少,试验结果比较分散。为了弥补试验研究的不足,采用非线性有限元方法模拟钢筋混凝土连续深梁的受力性能。利用已有的试验数据,验证了基于ATENA软件建立的有限元模型,并以此为基础,对以腹筋配筋率和剪跨比为变量的64根连续深梁进行分析,研究腹筋对连续深梁受剪承载力的影响。有限元分析结果与规范公式和压杆-拉杆模型(STM)及最新提出的三参数机动法(3PKT)的比较表明,中国规范高估了水平腹筋对构件受剪承载力的贡献,STM和3PKT方法也存在各自的不足。 相似文献

This paper presents a parametric model to study the transient bending wave propagation in a viscoelastic sandwich plate due to impact loading. The effect of partial constrained layer damping (PCLD) geometry on wave propagation is investigated by comparing with propagation in single layer elastic plate. Several boundary conditions are also considered, and their effect on wave propagation is highlighted.The equation of motion is obtained from Lagrange’s equations. For the single layer plate, the governing equation is solved in time domain using Newman and Wilson method. For the plate with PCLD, the frequency dependant viscoelastic behavior of the core is represented by Prony series; the equation of motion is converted into frequency domain using Fourier transform the displacement is obtained in the frequency domain and is converted into time domain with the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform.The model was validated in our previous paper (Khalfi and Ross (2013)) with experimental results, additional validation is carried in this paper with literature, and good agreement is recorded. The results show that the plate covered with PCLD remains a dispersive medium. The shape of the wave is mainly related to the sandwich stiffness while the viscoelastic layer contributes in reducing the amplitude and speed of propagation. The particularity of this transient model lies in its ability to follow the shape of the bending wave at all times to observe formation, propagation and disappearance. With this model, the influence of any structural input parameters on the bending wave can be studied. The findings presented will also serve as a research base for more advanced horizons. 相似文献

为了探究节点加强后RC梁柱节点的抗剪承载力、延性提高以及节点破坏模式由剪切破坏转变为梁弯曲破坏的实质,本文在RC节点的三维有限元分析的基础上探讨RC梁柱节点加强后的破坏机理。通过详细考察加固前后节点内部不同位置混凝土的应力-应变发展规律,探讨加强前后节点混凝土的宏观损伤发展过程;同时,通过考察核心混凝土的应力-应变关系及发展过程定量探讨加强钢板、梁柱主筋及箍筋对核心混凝土的约束作用。基于上述混凝土损伤过程的宏观分析,可以得出由于梁主筋的粘结加强、加强钢板以及箍筋对混凝土约束作用,使节点核心混凝土的实际强度增大、损伤延迟,RC节点由加强前的节点剪切破坏模式转变成梁端的弯曲破坏模式,从而提高RC梁柱节点的抗剪承载力和延性。 相似文献

本文采用“最大拉应力单元开裂”准则,改进了非线性分析的迭代流程,使其最大可能地模拟实际结构的开裂情况,进而可以基于分布裂缝模式计算裂缝发生位置,裂缝间距,裂缝开展深度和宽度。算例表明,该法所计算的裂缝分布规律是正确的,计算裂缝宽度与试验实测值及规范公式计算值基本吻合,可以推广应用。 相似文献

Free vibration of nonuniform axially functionally graded Timoshenko beams subjected to combined axially tensile or compressive loading is studied. An emphasis is placed on the effect of tip and distributed axial loads on the natural frequencies and mode shapes for an inhomogeneous cantilever beam including material inhomogeneity and geometric non-uniform cross section. The initial value method is developed to determine the natural frequencies. The method’s effectiveness is verified by comparing our results with previous ones for special cases. Natural frequencies of standing/hanging Timoshenko beams are calculated for four different cross sections. The influences of shear rigidity, taper ratio, gradient index, tip force, and axially distributed loading on the natural frequencies of clamped-free beams are discussed. Material inhomogeneity and geometric non-uniform cross-section strongly affect higher-order vibration frequencies and mode shapes. 相似文献

为建立混凝土路面结构受力分析计算模型,以Winkler弹性地基梁模型为基础,推导出了弹性地基双层梁理论的表达式;给定边界条件,利用MATLAB软件获得了无限长弹性地基梁在集中力作用下的挠度表达式。将混凝土路面结构简化为弹性地基上的双层梁,当车辆荷载作用于混凝土路面时,在集中载荷的作用下,建立了面层与基层的微分平衡方程。应用广义“初参数”法,得到了双层梁位移和应力的解析解。通过算例,对面层及基层的变形和应力进行了分析,结果表明:增大面层、基层的轴惯性矩和地基的弹性常数,可以有效地减少面层和基层的变形量,降低最大应力数值,但抗弯刚度对基层和面层的弯矩受力影响不大。最后将结果与ANSYS分析结果进行了比较,佐证了解的可靠性,研究结果可为混凝土路面结构设计提供依据。 相似文献

Summary In this paper, the influence of the variable stiffness of mating gear teeth on dynamic loads occurring between teeth in a
single-gear transmission is investigated using a discrete-continuous model consisting of two torsionally deformable ponderable
shafts and four rigid bodies. The stiffness is described by a harmonic function of time. Considerations by means of the wave
method enable to determine dynamic loads in steady as well as in transient states. Numerical calculations are concentrated
on the determination of the amplitudes of dynamic loads on gear teeth with respect to revolution per minute.

The objective of this paper is to find an optimal method for the design of tracked base travel systems for special purpose vehicles and robotic machines that may be required to steer over a light bonded terrain composed of fresh concrete. For the case of a vehicle traveling on a weak fresh concrete during construction, the paper presents detailed comparative studies of the steering performances of a small model tracked test vehicle with alternative amount of steering ratio for various concrete slump values. For these studies a detailed simulation analytical method has been developed. From this work it is proven, in comparison to experiment, that the simulation analytical method is useful for predicting various steering performances of a test tracked vehicle running upon soft fresh concrete of various consistencies. 相似文献
