两种新型有机激光染料的合成、结构和上转换 发光性质

合成了两个新的有机晶体：反式-4-[4'-(N-羟乙基-N-甲基胺基)苯乙烯基]-N-甲基吡啶对甲苯磺酸盐trans-4-[4'-(N-hydroxyethyl-N-methylamino)styryl]-N-methylpyridiniumtoluene-p-sulfonate(简称HMASPS)和反式-4-[4'-(N-羟乙基-N-乙基胺基)苯乙烯基]-N-甲基吡啶对甲苯磺酸盐trans-4-[4'-(N-hydroxyethyl-N-ethylamino)styryl]-N-methylpyridiniumtoluene-p-sulfonate(简称HEASPS)。用X射线衍射方法对这两个单晶进行了结构测定。测试了它们频率上转换荧光及激光性质。在1064nm的ps脉冲激光的激发下,HMASPS和HEASPS在溶液中均发出～625nm的上转荧光和激光,并且有可观的激光效率。     

Synthesis of acridinedione derivatives as laser dyes

Synthesis of 9-alkyl, 10-alkyl, 9,10-dialkyl, and 10-aryl-3,4,6,7,9,10-hexahydro-1,8(2H,5H)acridinedione (2a–r) are described as a new class of laser dyes. Reactions of diamines with methylene bis(cyclohexane-1,3-dione) yielded the respective bisacridinediones (3a–e). These dyes lase around 478–494 nm and are compared with the standard dye coumarin-102. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

Synthesis of new hetarylazoindole dyes from some 2-aminothiazole derivatives

A new series of heterocyclic disperse dyes were prepared by diazotization of some 2-aminothiazole derivatives and subsequent coupling with indole compounds. The dyes were characterized by UV-Vis, FT-IR, ¹H NMR, and mass spectra (LC-MS). Solvent effects on their visible absorption spectra were estimated. The color of the dyes is discussed with respect to the substituent therein. The effects of acids and bases on the visible absorption maxima of the dyes are also reported. Replacement of methyl group in the 4-position of the thiazole ring by phenyl group leads to red shift of the absorption maximum due to π-electron-donating properties of the phenyl group, while weak electron-withdrawing chlorine or bromine atom in the para-position of the phenyl group in the 2-amino-4-phenylthiazole fragment induce a small blue shift relative to 2-amino-4-phenylthiazole derivatives. Introduction of an electron-withdrawing 4-nitrophenylsulfonyl group into the thiazole ring produces bathochromic shift of the absorption maximum in all solvents. Synthesis, photophysical properties, and laser behavior of 3-amino and 3-acetamido BODIPY dyes

The asymmetrically substituted BODIPY dyes 9a and 9b have been synthesized through a key redox step involving the alpha-nitroso derivative of the starting pyrrol. Both dyes emit fluorescence with quantum yields of ca. 0.7, but only 8b behaves as a good laser dye, with an efficiency of 48% in ethanol solution.     

Styryl dyes. Synthesis and study of the solid-state [2+2] autophotocycloaddition by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction

New styryl dyes of the pyridine and benzothiazole series were synthesized with the aim of investigating the solid-state [2+2] autophotocycloaddition (PCA) reaction. The ¹H NMR spectroscopy showed that for most of the compounds under study, the visible light irradiation of thin polycrystalline films of the dyes affords cyclobutane derivatives. The rate of the photoreaction depends on the structure of the dye and is higher for compounds, which contain a short N-substituent in the heterocyclic moiety and have strong absorption in the visible region. Dyes bearing electron-releasing substituents in the benzene ring undergo the stereospecific PCA in the syn-head-to-tail dimeric pair to give the only rctt isomer of cyclobutane derivatives. Electron-withdrawing and bulky substituents in the benzene fragment of styryl dyes extend the range of the mutual orientations of the molecules in the dimeric pairs, resulting in the formation of two or even four isomeric cyclobutanes in the PCA reactions. The structures of some dyes were established by X-ray diffraction. In the overwhelming majority of the structures, one of two packing modes, either syn-head-to-tail or syn-head-to-head, with extensive stacking interactions is observed. A rare example of the anti-head-to-head stacking mode was found for the dicationic dye containing the bulky N⁺(Et)Me₂ substituent in the benzene ring. The syn-head-to-tail and anti-head-to-head stacking modes can facilitate the PCA reaction due to the close spatial proximity of the ethylenic bonds and their parallel orientation in the dimeric pairs of the dye molecules. Synthesis of 2-amino-6-chloro- and 2,6-diammopunne 3-oxides

N-Oxidation of 2-amino-6-chloropurine to the 3-oxide provided a convenient intermediate for the synthesis of 2-amino-6-substituted purine 3-oxides, including the previously unavailable 2,6-diaminopurine 3-oxide. Thiation of the 6-halogen was accompanied by reduction of the N-oxide. The properties of the 1- and 3-oxides of 2,6-diaminopurine are compared.     

A new class of laser dyes from acridinedione derivatives

Synthesis of 10-aryl-3,4,6,7,9,10-hexahydro-1,8(2H,5H)-acridinedione as a new class of laser dyes is reported. These dyes lase around 475–495 nm and are compared to the standard dye coumarin 102.     

Synthesis and fluorescence properties of 2-aryl-3-hydroxyquinolones, a new class of dyes displaying dual fluorescence

A series of 2-aryl-3-hydroxyquinolones (3HQs) with different electron donating aryl substituents at the position 2 were synthesized. Their absorption and fluorescence properties were studied in solvents of medium and high polarity. Almost all the synthesized 3HQs display dual fluorescence in the tested solvents, in line with an excited state intramolecular proton transfer reaction. For N-methyl substituted compounds, the intensity ratio of the two emission bands was found to be exquisitely sensitive to solvent polarity, with a two orders of magnitude change from toluene to dimethylsulfoxide. Consequently, these compounds appear as prospective polarity fluorescent labels for proteins and nucleic acids.     

Synthesis of new 2,6-diisobornyl-4-methylphenol derivatives

New 2,6-diisobornylphenol derivatives having formyl, hydroxymethyl, and carboxy groups in the para position with respect to the hydroxy group were synthesized. 4-Hydroxy-3,5-diisobornylbenzoic acid was obtained in a moderate yield through intermediate ortho ester and methyl ester.     

Synthesis of 2,6-Dimethoxyhydroquinone-3-mercaptoacetyl-peptide-chlorambucil Conjugates

In previous paper, we had reported the synthesis of three conjugates of the cytotoxicity agents: 2,6-Dimethoxyhydroquinone-3-mercaptoacetic acid (DMQ-MA)1, which is a derivative of 2,6-dimethoxy-p-benzoquinone (DMQ). DMQ is a naturally fermented product of wheat germ and was found to have a wide spectrum of cytotoxicity against various tumor cell lines under the synergistic activation of L-ascorbic acid2-5 . 合成了对称和非对称两个新的冠醚硒菁染料2,2'-二乙基-45,4'5'-双并-(15-冠-5)硒碳菁碘化季铵盐和2,2'-二乙基-4,5-并-(15-冠-5)硒碳菁碘化季铵盐以用三种新的中间体2,2'-二硝基-4,5,4',5'-双并-(15-冠-5)二苯基二硒化物, 2-甲基-5,6-并-(15-冠-5)苯并硒唑和2-甲基-3-乙基-5,6-并-(15-冠-5)苯并硒碘化季铵盐。报道了它们的红外、紫外、核磁共振、质谱数据。
