By expanding the hard-aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, the recurrence propagation formula of a flattened Gaussian beam through multi-apertured optical ABCD systems is derived, and the propagation of a Gaussian beam is regarded as a special case in our theoretical model. The extension to the three-dimensional case is described. Numerical examples of the beam propagation through a multiple aperture-lens system and an aperture-spatial filter are given and compared with those by the straightforward numerical integration of the Collins formula. It is shown that our analytical results give a good trade-off between the computational time and accuracy, and provide a useful tool for simulating the beam propagation through complicated optical systems including multiple apertures and spatial filters. Finally, a comparison with the previous work is made and the main results obtained in this paper are summarized.  相似文献

By expanding the hard aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, some approximate analytical formulae for the cross-spectral density of a partially coherent flattened Gaussian beam (FGB) propagating through apertured aligned and misaligned ABCD optical systems are derived based on the generalized Collins formula. The results obtained by using the approximate analytical formula are in good agreement with those obtained by using the numerical integral calculation. As a numerical example, the focusing properties (including average irradiance distribution and focal shift) of a partially coherent FGB focused by an apertured thin lens are studied, and it is found that the focusing properties of a partially coherent FGB are closely related to its initial coherence and the aperture width. Our results provide an effective and fast way for studying the paraxial propagation of a partially coherent FGB through apertured ABCD optical systems.  相似文献

 在直角坐标系下对平顶高斯光束和超高斯光束的传输特性的相似性问题作了讨论。研究表明,当有相同的M2因子但束宽不同的平顶高斯光束和超高斯光束通过光阑效应可忽略ABCD光学系统传输时,在广义菲涅尔数F相等处有相似的光强分布。对于有光阑和用球差透镜聚焦的情况,若平顶高斯光束和超高斯光束具有相同的M2因子和束腰宽度,则在相同传输距离处仍可得到相似的光强分布。  相似文献

A decentered flattened Gaussian beam (DEFGB), is defined by a tensor method. The propagation formula for a DEFGB passing through an axially nonsymmetrical paraxial optical system is derived through vector integration. The derived formula can be reduced to the formula for a generalized decentered elliptical flattened Gaussian beam under certain condition. As an example application of the derived formula, the propagation characteristics of a DEFGB in free space are calculated and discussed. As another example we have studied the properties of superposition with radial array consisted by DEFGB.  相似文献

The propagation of elliptical Gaussian beam passing through paraxial optical systems with aperture is investigated analytically by using tensor method. The approximate formula for propagation of elliptical Gaussian beam through hard apertured optical systems is derived based on the fact that the circ function can be expanded into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions. The derived formula provides a convenient tool for treating the propagation and transformation of elliptical Gaussian beam through apertured optical systems. Starting from the paraxial vectorial theory of beams propagating in uniaxially anisotropic media, the analytical propagation equations of three-dimensional flattened Gaussian beams (FGBs) in uniaxial crystals are derived and illustrated numerically. It is shown that, due to the anisotropy of crystals, the ordinary and extraordinary beams originated by incident FGBs propagate with different Rayleigh lengths, thus the linear polarization state and axial symmetry of incident FGBs do not remain during propagation in crystals.  相似文献

基于广义惠更斯-菲涅尔衍射积分公式, 以高斯光束为激光束模型,推导了激光光束通过失调扩束准直光学系统的传输公式,分析了光学元件失调对扩束准直光学系统输出光束传输特性的影响,并在此基础上进行了仿真。实验结果表明,高斯光束通过失调扩束准直光学系统时,出射光束变为偏心高斯光束,光学元件失调程度越大,输出光束越偏离光轴,光束质量越差。在同样的失调下,长焦距光学元件对输出光束影响更大,因此在激光扩束准直光学系统中,调整长焦距光学元件更为重要。  相似文献

 基于部分相干光的传输理论,研究了部分相干平顶高斯光束通过球差透镜聚焦后轴上点的光强分布。数值计算表明:轴上最佳聚焦点随着球差从负到正的变化而向几何焦点方向移动;光束阶数越大,实现最佳聚焦点越过几何焦点所需的正球差值越小;正负球差对应的最佳聚焦点始终分居于无球差时最佳聚焦点的两侧;轴上最佳聚焦点的光强随着球差从负到正的变化而变小;当正负球差绝对值较大时,光强随球差的变化较为缓慢,而在球差值为0附近,光强随球差的变化比较剧烈。  相似文献

The propagation property of flattened Gaussian beams (FGBs) is studied based on the Collins formula, and analytical propagation equations for FGBs with and without an aperture are derived. It is shown that the closed-form expressions for the FGB of order N passing through paraxial ABCD optical systems without an aperture can be written as the combinations of Confluent Hyper-geometric Functions, and that the analytical equations for the FGB of order N passing through apertured paraxial ABCD optical systems may involve Error Functions. The proposed algorithms for the considered beams can save computing time, provide intuitive physical insights, and help to design optical systems. Our results are confirmed and illustrated with numerical examples.  相似文献

The generalized diffraction integralis used to derive a generalized formula for high-order Bessel–Gaussian beams (HBGBs) through a misaligned first-order ABCD optical system. It is found that, when a HBGB propagates through a misaligned optical system, the beam shape of the output beam is unchanged. However, the center of the output beam is deviated from the optical axis, forming a decentered HBGB. The position of the output beam may be controlled by adjusting the misaligned parameters. Based on the derived formula, the diffraction patterns of HBGBs propagating through a simple misaligned lens system have been calculated numerically. These results may be useful in the application of laser beams for trapping and manipulating a wide variety of particles.  相似文献

Propagation properties of hollow Gaussian beam through a misaligned first-order ABCD system is studied using the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral, augmented matrix. It is shown that, as a hollow Gaussian beam passes through the misaligned first-order ABCD system, the beam shape is not preserved, the out-put beams have differences when passing different misaligned optical systems.  讨论了高斯光束经由凹透镜,子系统和凸透镜构成的复合光学系统的聚焦特性,利用矩阵光学方法,推导出了高斯光束经复合光学系统聚焦后束腰宽度和像距的计算公式。计算例表明,选择适当参数的复合光学系统,既可以获得较小的束腰宽度,又可以获得较长的像距。  相似文献

Based on flattened multi-Gaussian beam model and partially coherent theory, the expression for cross-spectral density of partially coherent flattened multi-Gaussian beam with a hole was given. The analytical expression for on-axis spectrum of partially coherent flattened multi-Gaussian beam with a hole passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system was derived. The spectral shifts of the partially coherent flattened multi-Gaussian beam with a hole propagating in free space and passing through the lens have been analyzed. The effects of the beam profile, spatial coherence parameter and the system parameters on the relative spectral shift have been discussed. Our results show that the inner radius of flattened multi-Gaussian beam with a hole determines its relative spectral shift in near field and its outer radius determines that in far field. For the flattened multi-Gaussian beam with a hole passing through a lens, the on-axis relative spectral shift changes sharply near the focal plane with the increase in Fresnel number and the spatial coherence parameter.  相似文献

由衍射光学元件(DOE)和折射透镜组成的衍折射光学元件,用于较大功率密度和光束半径的高斯光束的聚焦。运用GS算法,用外围的DOE产生一个偏移的高斯光束分布,与中心的折射透镜会聚后的高斯光束相干叠加在一个很小的聚焦圆内,在聚焦圆内的光强分布不平整度小于5%。给出了一个圆域基模高斯光束的整形分布,计算误差小于3.5%。  相似文献
