提出一种利用光频梳和可调谐半导体激光器提高台阶高度测量准确度的方法. 通过将可调谐激光器锁定至光频梳,可对激光器的输出波长进行精确锁定与测量.基于可调合成波长链原理,利用锁定后的半导体激光器构建了一套台阶高度测量方案,该方案可消除合成波长误差对台阶高度测量不确定度的影响. 采用一台可调谐半导体激光器和光频梳进行了5000 s的连续锁定实验, 结果表明,锁定后的可调谐半导体激光器的频率稳定度达 1.8×10-12.该方法的理论测量不确定度约为7.9 nm, 且测量结果可溯源至时间频率基准.  相似文献

本文建立了外加电场调制二维六角位相阵列光分束器的倒格矢理论模型, 利用数值模拟方法开展了阵列光分束器的理论研究, 对可调位相差阵列光分束器进行了分析, 得到了不同分数泰伯距离以及外加电场条件下的光强分布图. 实验设计与制备了铌酸锂二维六角位相阵列光分束器, 并对其进行了Talbot衍射光分束实验研究, 当外加电压为0.5 kV(电场为1 kV/mm)时, 观测到了Talbot衍射光分束现象, 随着外加调制电场的增大, 其衍射光分束图像越清晰, 该实验结果和理论研究结果相符.  相似文献

Controllable liquid crystal (LC) defects can provide an effective approach to creating tunable optical vortices. We develop a method to create tunable matter vortex arrays in an LC cell, in which +1 and −1 defects are periodically arranged in a square grid lattice. Spontaneous formation of the periodic defect array is achieved using a spontaneous standing pressure wave without using any patterned electrode or patterned alignment layer. The +1 and −1 defects in the array can induce optical vortices with opposite handedness, and the matter vortex array produces a periodic optical vortex array with orbital angular momenta of −2ℏ and +2ℏ in the same grid lattice. Because the pitch of the grid can be controlled, the method can provide a useful pathway to producing tunable optical vortex arrays for various applications such as advanced optical communication and quantum computation.  相似文献

研究了不同畴腐蚀深度的掺镁铌酸锂二维六角可调阵列光分束器的分数Talbot效应.对不同Talbot分数β和不同畴腐蚀深度的阵列光分束器Talbot衍射像进行了数值模拟理论研究.模拟结果表明,Talbot分数β可以改变Talbot衍射像的周期及结构分布,而畴腐蚀深度可有效调制衍射像的光强分布.在理论研究的基础上,设计并制备了具有不同畴腐蚀深度的掺镁铌酸锂二维六角阵列光分束器,对其在不同Talbot分数β条件下的分数Talbot效应进行了通光实验研究,实现了畴腐蚀阵列光分束器对近场Talbot衍射光强分布的调制,实验结果与理论研究结果一致.  相似文献

We present a novel single-step fabrication approach, based on optical phase engineering, for tunable complex photonic chiral lattices of diverse geometries in a large area. By means of engineered reconfigurable phase patterns, we computationally simulate as well as experimentally investigate these complex structures. We show the generation of both periodic right- and left-handed chiral structures as well as photonic transversely quasi-crystallographic chiral structures. These complex chiral lattices are also demonstrated in a photorefractive material, and the lattice formation is analyzed by plane-wave-guided imaging as well as diffraction pattern imaging. Furthermore, complex photonic chiral structures with engineered tunable relative phase shifts between adjacent spiral units realizable in a single step are explored and analyzed.  相似文献

分析了副载波调频技术用于光纤光栅阵列查询的基本原理。从理论上推算了系统的查询空间分辨率及查询范围,并结合波分复用技术进行了光纤光栅传感网络的地址查询演示实验,同时使用可调谐滤波器对每个光栅信号进行了解调。实验结果很好地说明了该查询方案的可行性,且在单个光栅上的被测应变与可调谐滤波器的控制电压呈较好的线性关系。该系统具备有查询由几百个FBG组成的传感网络的潜在能力。  相似文献

A new technique to realize an array of multiple true-time-delay elements, which can be independently and continuously tuned, is reported. It is based on a WDM parallel signal processing approach in conjunction with a diffraction-based Fourier-domain optical signal processor. Programmable linear optical phase transfer functions are realized to obtain different electrical true-time delays. The technique can scale to a large number of wideband true-time-delay lines, with continuously tunable programmable delay. Results demonstrate multiple true-time-delay elements with independent tuning control and verify the concept by tuning the free spectral range of a microwave photonic notch filter. To our best knowledge, this is the first demonstration of multiple independently controllable true-time-delay lines for microwave photonic systems.  相似文献

A wideband laser phase noise reduction scheme is introduced where the optical field of a laser is single sideband modulated with an electrical signal containing the discriminated phase noise of the laser. The proof-of-concept experiments on a commercially available 1549 nm distributed feedback laser show linewidth reduction from 7.5 MHz to 1.8 kHz without using large optical cavity resonators. This feed-forward scheme performs wideband phase noise cancellation independent of the light source and, as such, it is compatible with the original laser source tunability without requiring tunable optical components. By placing the proposed phase noise reduction system after a commercial tunable laser, a tunable coherent light source with kilohertz linewidth over a tuning range of 1530-1570 nm is demonstrated.  相似文献

A novel approach for loadable and erasable optical memory unit based on dual microring optical integrators is proposed and studied. The optical integrator, which can generate an optical step function for data storing, is synthesized using active media for loss compensation and a tunable phase shifter for data reading at any time. The input data into the memory is return-to-zero (RZ) signal, and the output data read from the memory is also RZ format with a narrower pulse width. An optical digital register based on the proposed optical memory unit is also investigated and simulated, which shows the potential for large scale data storage and serial-to-parallel data conversion. A great number of such memory units can be densely integrated on a photonic circuit for future large scale data storage and buffer.  相似文献

A general formula for evaluating Gaussian beam coupling characteristics on a MEMS mirror array was developed, with consideration of parameters such as beam size, mirror width and mirror gap. Based on the formula, the influence of each parameter on the spectral response was simulated for MEMS mirror array employed in a wavelength selective switch and a tunable optical filter. A tunable single-passband microwave photonic filter is proposed and demonstrated, based on a laser diode(LD)array with multiple optical carriers and a Fabry-Perot(F-P) laser diode. Multiple optical carriers in conjunction with the F-P LD will realize a filter with multiple passbands. By adjusting the wavelengths of the multiple optical carriers, multiple passbands are merged into a single passband with a broadened bandwidth. By varying the number of the optical carrier, the bandwidth can be adjusted. The central frequency can be tuned by adjusting the wavelength of the multiple optical carriers simultaneously. A single-passband filter implemented by two optical carriers is experimentally demonstrated.  相似文献

We demonstrate a cost effective wavelength tunable optical time-domain reflectometry (OTDR) for wavelength division multiplexing passive optical networks (WDM-PON). In order to realize the unique wavelength tunable optical time-domain reflectometry (OTDR), the wavelength swept fiber laser was developed by a digital micro-mirror array device (DMD), and the correlation OTDR (COTDR) technique was used. We successfully detected the fault location at the remote node fibers with 20 m resolution and fast wavelength setting speed of ∼15 μs in conventional band (C-band).  相似文献

Tunable nanoplasmonic metasurfaces have resulted in many versatile platforms for sensing applications including surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based detection. However, to date, their fabrication still faces challenges in uniformity, repeatability, and controllability. Here, a novel large-area and hierarchical nanoplasmonic array with controlled internal structure and tunable plasmonic properties is reported, relying on controllably tailoring the single nanosphere on a uniform double-layered array into a well-defined nanoflower structure. The fabrication involves colloidal self-assembly, lithography, and plasmonic metal coating. First, a uniformly distributed double-layered colloidal array is fabricated via an ethanol-assisted self-assembly technique. Next, with the help of inductively coupled plasma dry etching, the lower layer is transformed to the nanoflower array with well-defined petal shape. Subsequently, a gold film with controlled thickness is deposited onto the nanoflower structured array, resulting in a tunable optical and SERS-active enhancement effect. Furthermore, 3D finite-difference time-domain simulation shows multiple enhancement sites inside the nanoflower array. Such a brand-new 3D structured array has the potential for varied applications, ranging from SERS sensors to light regulation.  相似文献

We report some preliminary results on the realization of terahertz (THz) nematic liquid crystal (LC) lens with electric tunable focal length. A LC cell with a single circular-hole electrode is driven by an AC voltage to yield the desired spatial distribution of the refractive index. The two-dimensional function of the phase delay introduced into THz wave depends on the AC voltage and the electrodes contacting the LC layer. This lens is operated at room temperature and its convergent optical characteristic is demonstrated at 118 μm. We realize the lens with a clear aperture of 1 mm. The lens matched with a bolometer array is capable of obtaining real-time THz images of a sample without any mechanical scanning.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel optical nanoantenna based on two-dimensional plasmonic nano-ring antenna array is proposed, investigated numerically and compared with a nano-disk antenna array. The results show that the nano-ring structure has resonances similar to the resonances of nano-disk structure but in higher wavelengths. These resonances are tunable by varying the structural parameters of the ring. The optical properties of the proposed structure are investigated in the context of designing a plasmonic refractive index sensor. The nano-ring antenna array sensor has large sensitivity in comparison to the conventional nano-disk antenna arrays. The special feature of the presented structure and the device concepts introduced in this work are applicable in realization of various integrated components and could play an important role in development of plasmonic sensors.  相似文献
