Extensive chromatographic screening of extracts of the fruits of the Indian Ayurvedic plant, Dendrophthoe falcata, resulted in the isolation of three new triterpenes, 3beta-acetoxy-1beta-(2-hydroxy-2-propoxy)-11alpha-hydroxy-olean-12-ene (1), 3beta-acetoxy-11alpha-ethoxy-1beta-hydroxy-olean-12-ene (2) and 3beta-acetoxy-1beta-hydroxy-11alpha-methoxy-olean-12-ene (3) along with nine known compounds, 3beta-acetoxy-1beta,11alpha-dihydroxy-olean-12-ene (4), 3beta-acetoxy-1beta,11alpha-dihydroxy-urs-12-ene (5), 3beta-acetoxy-urs-12-ene-11-one (6), 3beta-acetoxy-lup-20(29)-ene (7), 30-nor-lup-3beta-acetoxy-20-one (8), (20S)-3beta-acetoxy-lupan-29-oic acid (9), kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (10), quercetin-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (11), and gallic acid (12). The structures of these compounds were determined using 1D and 2D NMR and high resolution electrospray mass spectrometry. These compounds were assayed for binding to estrogen receptors-alpha and beta and kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (10) was found to be a ligand for both receptors with greater affinity for beta. The triterpenes (1-9) are reported for the first time in the genus Dendrophthoe and assumes taxonomic significance.  相似文献

Four new cyclopropyl-triterpenes, 27-nor-3beta-hydroxy-25-oxocycloartane (1), (22E)-25,26,27-trinor-3beta-hydroxycycloart-22-en-24-al (2), 3beta-acetoxy-15alpha-hydroxy-13,27-cyclours-11-ene (3), 3beta-acetoxy-12alpha-formyloxy-13,27-cycloursan-11alpha-ol (4), together with (23E)-27-nor-3beta-hydroxycycloart-23-en-25-one (5) were isolated from the aerial roots of Ficus microcarpa. Compounds 3 and 4 are rare 13,27-cycloursane-type triterpenes. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical methods.  相似文献

Three novel triterpenoids, 3beta-acetoxy-11alpha-hydroxy-11(12-->13)abeooleanan-12-al (1), 3beta-hydroxy-20-oxo-29(20-->19)abeolupane (2), and 29,30-dinor-3beta-acetoxy-18,19-dioxo-18,19-secolupane (3), and the known 4, 5a, and 5b were isolated from the aerial roots of Ficus microcarpa. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 2D NMR and X-ray diffraction experiments. Compound 1, derived from the oleanane skeleton, has an unusual five-membered C ring. Compounds 2 and 3, derived from the lupane skeleton, have unique skeletons that may arise from the same biogenetic pathway.  相似文献

Four new cycloart-7-ene triterpenol arabinosides, bugbanosides C-F, were isolated from the underground parts of Cimicifuga simplex Wormsk. (Ranunculaceae). The structures were elucidated as 12beta-acetoxy-3beta,15alpha,-24R,25-tetrahydroxy-16,23-dione-cycloart-7-ene 3-O-alpha-arabinopyranoside, 12beta-acetoxy-24R,25-epoxy-3beta,15alpha-dihydroxy-16,23-dione-cycloart-7-ene 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside, 12beta-acetoxy-24R,25-epoxy-3beta-hydroxy-16,23-dione-cycloart-7-ene 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside, and 16,23R:16,24S-diepoxy-3beta,12beta,15alpha,25-tetrahydroxy-cycloart-7-ene 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence. The circular dichroism (CD) of bugbanosides C-F showed strong negative maxima at 214-217 nm due to a cycloart-7-ene system, as well as other cycloart-7-ene triterpenes. The CD data showed to be useful in determining basic skeletons, including absolute stereostructures of cycloart-7-ene triterpenes.  相似文献

Three new lanostanoid triterpenes named 3beta,7beta-di- hydroxy-11,15,23-trioxo-lanost-8,16-dien-26-oic acid (1), 3beta,7beta-dihydroxy-11,15,23-trioxo-lanost-8,16-dien-26-oic acid methyl ester (2), and 12beta-acetoxy-3beta,7beta-dihydroxy-11,15,23-trioxo-lanost-8,16-dien-26-oic acid (3) were isolated from the fruit bodies of Ganoderma lucidum. They all show a Delta(16, 17) double bond unprecedented in such types of lanostanoid triterpenes possessing the side chain at C-17. The complete NMR assignments for these compounds were carried out using (1)H, (13)C, DEPT, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and ROESY NMR experiments.  相似文献

Fractionation of a steam distilled residue of Commiphora confusa resin has yielded four novel dammarane triterpenes characterised as (20S)-3beta-acetoxy-12beta,16beta-trihydroxydammar-24-ene, (20S)-12beta,16beta-trihydroxydammar-24-ene-3beta-O-beta-glucopyranoside, (20S)-3beta-acetoxy-12beta,16beta,25-tetrahydroxydammar-23-ene, and (20S)-3beta,12beta,16beta,25-pentahydroxydammar-23-ene. The known compounds beta-amyrin, 3beta-amyrinacetate, 2-methoxyfuranodienone, 2-acetoxyfuranodienone, (20R)-3beta-acetoxy-16beta-dihydroxydammar-24-ene, (20R)-3beta,16beta-trihydroxydammar-24-ene, 3beta-acetoxy-16beta-hydroxydammar-24-ene, 3beta-hydroxydammar-24-ene, 3beta-acetoxydammar-24-ene, and beta-sistosterol were also isolated from the same extract. The structures of the compounds were determined using spectroscopic, physical, and chemical methods.  相似文献

Five new lanostane-type triterpenes, named fomefficinic acid A-E (1-5), were isolated from the dried sclerotium of Fomes officinalis, respectively. Their structures were established as 24-methylene-3-oxo-lanost-8-en-21-oic acid (1), 3alpha,15alpha-dihydroxy-24-methylene-lanosta-7,9(11)-dien-21-oic acid (2), 3alpha,15alpha-dihydroxy-24-methylene-lanost-8-en-21-oic acid (3), 15alpha-hydroxy-3-oxo-24-methylenelanost-8-en-21-oic acid (4), 15alpha-acetoxy-3-oxo-24-methylenelanosta-7,9(11)-dien-21-oic acid (5), by spectral analysis and chemical methods as well as comparison with known compounds.  相似文献

Two new melampolide-type sesquiterpene lactones, 8beta-epoxyangeloyloxy-9alpha-ethoxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (1) and 8beta-angeloyloxy-9alpha-ethoxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (2), were isolated from the leaves of yacon [Smallanthus sonchifolia (POEPP. et ENDL.) H. Robinson] along with eleven known melampolides, allo-schkuhriolide (3), enhydrin (4), polymatin A (5), fluctuanin (6), 8beta-angeloyloxy-9alpha-acetoxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (7), 8beta-angeloyloxy-14-oxo-acanthospermolide (8), 8beta-methacryloyloxymelampolid-14-oic acid methyl ester (9), uvedalin (10), polymatin B (11), 8beta-tigloyloxymelampolid-14-oic acid methyl ester (12), and sonchifolin (13). Their structures were established on the basis of spectroscopic evidence including 1D- and 2D-NMR experiments. All isolates were evaluated for inhibition of LPS-induced nitric oxide production in murine macrophage RAW 264.7 cells.  相似文献

Two new eremophilenolides, 6beta,8beta,10beta-trihydroxyeremophil-7(11)-en-12,8-olide (1) and 3beta-acetoxy-8alpha-hydroxy-6beta-methoxyeremophila-7(11),9-dien-12,8-olide (2) along with twenty-nine other compounds were obtained from the methanolic extracts of the aerial parts and rhizomes of Farfugium japonicum (L.) Kitam. var. formosanum (Hayata) Kitam. (Compositae = Asteraceae). The structures of the isolated compounds were characterized and identified by spectral techniques. Compounds 5, 6, 10, 12-24, 29, and 30, were reported for the first time from this genus. Cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory activity of the isolated compounds were evaluated. Compounds 3 and 16 possessed moderate cytotoxicity against human breast cancer cell line (MCF 7). Compounds 3, 16, 25 and 26 exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against hepatoma cells (Hep G2 and Hep 3B). With respect to the anti-inflammatory activity, compounds 15 and 16 (each 10 microg/mL) inhibited superoxide anion generation by human neutrophils in response to fMLP/CB by 92.0% and 87.3%, respectively.  相似文献

Three new sesquiterpenes, 2-deoxy-7-O-methyllemnacarnol (1), 2-deoxy-12 alpha-ethoxy-7-O-methyllemnacarnol (2), and 2-deoxy-12 alpha-methoxy-7-O-methyllemnacarnol (3), were isolated from a soft coral Nephthea sp. collected in Indonesia, together with five known sesquiterpenes. From the resins of Commiphora kua a novel bisabolene; 6-hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(5'-hydroxy-1'(R),5'-dimethylhex-3'-enyl)-phenol together with two new dammarane triterpenes, 3beta,16beta,20(S),25-tetrahydroxydammar-23-ene and 3beta-acetoxy-16beta,20(S),25-trihydroxydammar-23-ene, have been isolated. In addition, being reported are known compounds identified as 2-methyl-5-(4'(S)-hydroxy-1'(R),5'-dimethylhex-5'-enyl)-phenol, 2-acetoxyfuranodienone, 2-methoxyfuranodienone, 3beta,16beta,20(R)-trihydroxydammar-24-ene and its acetate derivative, 3beta-acetoxy-16beta,20(R)-dihydroxydammar-24-ene, and beta-amyrin and its acetate derivative. 2-Methyl-5-(4'(S)-hydroxy-1'(R),5'-dimethylhex-5'-enyl)-phenol displayed fungicidal activity against Cladosporium cucumernum on TLC assay.  相似文献

Among them, three eudesmanolides: 15-hydroxy-11betaH-eudesm-4-en-8beta,12-olide (1), 3alpha-hydroxy-11betaH-eudesm-5-en-8beta,12-olide (2) and 2beta, 11alpha-dihydroxy-eudesm-5-en-8beta,12-olide (3) are new compounds. A novel agarofuran sesquiterpene polyol ester, 1beta,2beta,6alpha,15beta-tetracetoxy-8 beta,9alpha-dibenzoyloxy-beta- dihydroagarofuran (celahin D) (1), two known analogues of 1,1beta-acetoxy-8beta,9alpha-dibenzoyloxy-4al pha6alpha-dihydroxy-2beta(alphamethylbutanoyloxy)-beta-++ +dihydroagarofuran (2) and beta-acetoxy-8beta,9alpha-dibenzoyloxy-6alpha-hy droxy-2beta(alpha -methylbutanoyloxy)-beta-dihydroagarofuran (3), and a known cytotoxic sesquiterpene pyridine alkaloid, emarginatine E (4) were isolated from the stems of Celastrus hindsii Benth. Three known triterpenes, loranthol (5), lupenone (6) and friedelinol (7) were also obtained from the titled plant. Structural elucidation of compound 1 was established by 2D NMR spectra.  相似文献

Four new D:C-friedooleanane-type triterpenes, 3 beta-O-(E)-feruloyl-D:C-friedooleana-7,9(11)-dien-29-ol (1), 3 beta-O-(E)-coumaroyl-D:C-friedooleana-7,9(11)-dien-29-ol (2), 3 beta-O-(E)-coumaroyl-D:C-friedooleana-7,9(11)-dien-29-oic acid (3), and methyl 2 beta,3 beta-dihydroxy-D:C-friedoolean-8-en-29-oate (6), together with five known triterpenes with the same skeleton, 3-epikarounidiol (4), 3-oxo-D:C-friedoolena-7,9(11)-dien-29-oic acid (5), bryonolol (7), bryononic acid (8), and 20-epibryonolic acid (9), were isolated from the methanol extract of the stems of Lagenaria siceraria. The structures of those compounds were elucidated using spectroscopic methods. Compounds 3 and 9 showed significant cytotoxic activity against the SK-Hep 1 cell line with IC50 values of 4.8 and 2.1 microg/ml, respectively. Based on these initially promising results, the two D:C-friedooleanane triterpenes merit further study as potential anticancer agents.  相似文献

Six new ent-kaurane-type diterpenoids were isolated from the leaves of the endemic Vietnamese medicinal plant Croton tonkinensis GAGNEP. (Euphorbiaceae) together with three known ent-11alpha-acetoxy-7beta,14alpha-dihydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (1), ent-kaur-16-en-15-one 18-oic acid (5) and ent-18-hydroxykaur-16-ene (7). Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analyses to be ent-7beta-acetoxy-11alpha-hydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (2), ent-18-acetoxy-11alpha-hydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (3), ent-11alpha-acetoxykaur-16-en-18-oic acid (4), ent-15alpha,18-dihydroxykaur-16-ene (6), ent-11alpha,18-diacetoxy-7beta-hydroxykaur-16-en-15-one (8), and ent-(16S)-1alpha,14alpha-diacetoxy-7beta-hydroxy-17-methoxykauran-15-one (14). ent-Kaurane-type diterpenoids from Croton tonkinensis 2-4, 6, and 9-13, were tested for toxicity in the brine shrimp lethality assay. Compounds 9, 10, and 12 demonstrated significant activity, compounds 2, 3, 6, and 11 showed weak activity, and compounds 4 and 13 were inactive.  相似文献

Anti-complementary activity-guided fractionation of the ethanolic extract of Prunella vulgaris spikes led to the isolation of a new, unusual delta11(12) triterpene, 3beta,13beta-dihydroxyolic-11-ene-28-oic acid (1), along with thirteen known triterpenes (2-14). The structure of the new compound was established by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis. All the isolates were evaluated for their anti-complementary activity against the classical pathway (CP) and alternative pathway (AP). Eight triterpenes (1-8) showed anti-complementary activity against CP and AP, with CH50 and AP50 values of 0.15-0.37 mg/mL, and 0.29-0.53 mg/mL, respectively. Mechanism study using complement-depleted sera showed that oleanolic acid (2) acted selectively on C1q, C5, and C9 components, while 2alpha-hydroxy oleanolic acid (3) interacted with C1q, C3, C5 and C9, and 2alpha,3alpha-dihydroxyolic-12-ene-28-oic acid (4) blocked C1q, C2, C3, C5 and C9.  相似文献
