In this paper, the authors study the boundedness properties of μΩ↑m,b generated by the function b ∈Lipβ(R^n)(0 〈β≤ 1/m) and the Marcinkiewicz integrals operator μΩ. The boundednesses are established on the Hardy type spaces Hb^m^p,n(R^n) and the Herz Hardy type spaces Hbm Kq^α,p(R^b).  相似文献

Self-dual 2–forms on play a fundamental role in gauge theory. For generalized Seiberg-Witten theory (and for some other purposes in mathematical physics) a notion of self-duality of 2–forms on is needed. There are several definitions, but the one given by [Bilge, Dereli, Ko?ak ; JMP 38(9), 1997] is intimately related with Clifford algebras. They defined a 2–form to be self-dual if the anti-symmetric matrix Ω = (ωij) satisfies Ω2 = λ I for a scalar λ and proved that the space of such forms is non-linear with dimension n2n + 1, but contains maximal linear subspaces with dimension the Radon-Hurwitz number of (2n). It is important to have an algorithm for construction of such maximal linear subspaces and we give an explicit one with the help of representations of Clifford algebras on whereby we show that the representations given by the standart recursion formulas are anti-symmetric.  相似文献

We prove the existence of positive symmetric solutions to the semilinear elliptic problem
in both the radial case N = k ≥ 3 and the cylindrical case N ≥ k + 3 ≥ 6. The potential V is measurable, positive and it is only required to satisfy a mild integrability condition. The nonlinearity is continuous and has a doublepower behavior, super-critical near the origin and sub-critical at infinity. If f is odd, we show that the radial problem has infinitely many solutions. In proving these results we exploit the compactness of suitable restrictions of the embedding Supported by MIUR, project “Variational Methods and Nonlinear Differential Equations”.  相似文献

We find some optimal estimates for the first eigenfunction of a class of elliptic equations whose prototype is with Dirichlet boundary condition, where γ is the normalized Gaussian function in . To this aim we make use of the Gaussian symmetrization which transforms a domain into an half-space with the same Gaussian measure. The main tools we use are the properties of the weighted rearrangements and in particular the isoperimetric inequality with respect to Gaussian measure. We study the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for the inhomogeneous Neumann boundary value problems involving the p(x)-Laplacian of the form
where Ω is a bounded smooth domain in , and p(x) > 1 for with and φ ≢ 0 on ∂Ω. Using the sub-supersolution method and the variational method, under appropriate assumptions on f, we prove that, there exists λ* > 0 such that the problem has at least two positive solutions if λ = λ*, has at least one positive solution if λ = λ*, and has no positive solution if λ = λ*. To prove the result we establish a special strong comparison principle for the Neumann problems. It is known [6] that for every function f in the generalized Schur class and every nonempty open subset Ω of the unit disk , there exist points z1,...,zn ∈Ω such that the n × nPick matrix has κ negative eigenvalues. In this paper we discuss existence of an integer n0 such that any Pick matrix based on z1,...,zn ∈Ω with nn0 has κ negative eigenvalues. Definitely, the answer depends on Ω. We prove that if , then such a number n0 does not exist unless f is a ratio of two finite Blaschke products; in the latter case the minimal value of n0 can be found. For an arbitrary set E and a given closure operator , we want to construct a symmetric closure operator via some – possibly infinite – iteration process.
