在体育教学中,学生容易产生恐惧心理.通过对恐惧心理现象的介绍,进一步分析学生产生恐惧心理的原因,并从改变引起恐惧心理的客观条件和主观因素两个方面,对如何避免和降低学生的恐惧心理进行了研究,探索激发学生学习动机,提高心理品质,降低恐惧心理的新途径.     

UK drug trials: row over student trial

The British Medicines Commission has undertaken an urgent review of arrangements for testing new drugs on healthy volunteers in the wake of charges that one company, Charterhouse Clinical Research Unit Ltd., was using London students in toxicity tests of an antitumor drug without having informed the volunteers' physicians of the risks involved and without plans for long-term monitoring of the participants' health. Under current British law, drug studies with healthy volunteers are regarded as a private matter between the volunteers and the drug companies, which vary in their practices on disclosure of risks and compensation for injuries.     

Preliminary results of a regional air-sea coupled model over East Asia

We have established a regional air-sea coupled model over East Asia and conducted a 20-year integration to evaluate its performance in reproducing the present climate. The coupled model consists of RegCM3 and HYCOM controlled by the OASIS3 coupler with resuolution of 60 km for the atmosphere and 33 km for the ocean, respectively. Unlike some other regional air-sea coupled models, a one-way nesting method is employed in the oceanic component and a heat flux adjustment for solar radiation is used to remove an about 2°C cold bias in SST. The primary analysis for this 20-year integration shows that the coupled model successfully reproduces the main features of the circulations over East Asia, both in the atmosphere and the ocean, including climatology, seasonal and interannual variations. Improvements are seen in the coupled model compared to the uncoupled one, especially in the simulation of precipitation, the most important element of the East Asian monsoon, although there are still obvious discrepancies that come mainly from the model components themselves. Further analyses show that the rainfall simulation benefits from the enhancements of the Northwest Pacific Subtropical High in summer, which leads to the improvement of the moisture flux simulation at the middle-lower atmospheric circulation. The results indicate that the regional air-sea coupled model is more suitable for the East Asia monsoon simulation.

四例血友病B患者基因治疗的临床试验

报道了对四例血友病Ｂ患者基因治疗的临床试验，取自四例血友病Ｂ患者的自体皮肤成纤维细胞，通过反转录病毒介导的基因转移，能高效地分泌人凝血因子Ⅸ。用胶原包埋经遗传修饰的自体皮肤成纤维细胞，再移植到血友病Ｂ患者皮下。四例患者经治疗后，自发出血症状得到了减轻，血浆中凝血因子Ⅸ蛋白浓度和凝血活性明显地增加，其中两例患者增加较大，达到正常值的４％￣５％。另外两例患者体内的凝血因子Ⅸ和凝血活性也有不同程度的提高     

The rise of granular computing

This paper has two purposes. One is to present a critical examination of the rise of granular computing and the other is to suggest a triarchic theory of granular computing. By examining the reasons, justifications, and motivations for the rise of granular computing, we may be able to fully appreciate its scope, goal and potential values. The results enable us to formulate a triarchic theory in the light of research results from many disciplines. The three components of the theory are labeled as the philosophy, the methodology, and the computation. The integration of the three offers a unified view of granular computing as a way of structured thinking, a method of structured problem solving, and a paradigm of structured information processing, focusing on hierarchical granular structures. The triarchic theory is an important effort in synthesizing the various theories and models of granular computing.
