Summary For PF2[z] with P(0)=1 and deg(P)≧ 1, let A =A(P) be the unique subset of N (cf. [9]) such that Σn0 p(A,n)zn P(z) mod 2, where p(A,n) is the number of partitions of n with parts in A. To determine the elements of the set A, it is important to consider the sequence σ(A,n) = Σ d|n, dA d, namely, the periodicity of the sequences (σ(A,2kn) mod 2k+1)n1 for all k ≧ 0 which was proved in [3]. In this paper, the values of such sequences will be given in terms of orbits. Moreover, a formula to σ(A,2kn) mod 2k+1 will be established, from which it will be shown that the weight σ(A1,2kzi) mod 2k+1 on the orbit <InlineEquation ID=IE"1"><EquationSource Format="TEX"><![CDATA[<InlineEquation ID=IE"2"><EquationSource Format="TEX"><![CDATA[$]]></EquationSource></InlineEquation>]]></EquationSource></InlineEquation>z_i$ is moved on some other orbit zj when A1 is replaced by A2 with A1= A(P1) and A2= A(P2) P1 and P2 being irreducible in F2[z] of the same odd order.  相似文献

In his 1964 paper, de Bruijn (Math. Comp. 18 (1964) 537) called a pair (a,b) of positive odd integers good, if , where is the set of nonnegative integers whose 4-adic expansion has only 0's and 1's, otherwise he called the pair (a,b) bad. Using the 2-adic integers we obtain a characterization of all bad pairs. A positive odd integer u is universally bad if (ua,b) is bad for all pairs of positive odd integers a and b. De Bruijn showed that all positive integers of the form u=2k+1 are universally bad. We apply our characterization of bad pairs to give another proof of this result of de Bruijn, and to show that all integers of the form u=φpk(4) are universally bad, where p is prime and φn(x) is the nth cyclotomic polynomial. We consider a new class of integers we call de Bruijn universally bad integers and obtain a characterization of such positive integers. We apply this characterization to show that the universally bad integers u=φpk(4) are in fact de Bruijn universally bad for all primes p>2. Furthermore, we show that the universally bad integers φ2k(4), and more generally, those of the form 4k+1, are not de Bruijn universally bad.  相似文献

Explicit expressions for restricted partition function W(s,dm) and its quasiperiodic components Wj(s,dm) (called Sylvester waves) for a set of positive integers dm = {d1, d2, ..., dm} are derived. The formulas are represented in a form of a finite sum over Bernoulli and Eulerian polynomials of higher order with periodic coefficients. A novel recursive relation for the Sylvester waves is established. We prove the almost everywhere convergence of the Cesàro (C, α)-means of integrable functions σ n α ff for fL 1(I), where I is the group of 2-adic integers for every α > 0. This theorem for the case of α = 1 was proved by the author [1]. For the case of the (C, 1) Fejér means there are several generalizations known with respect to some orthonormal systems. The main goal of this paper is the development of the MRA theory in . We described a wide class of p-adic refinement equations generating p-adic multiresolution analyses. A method for the construction of p-adic orthogonal wavelet bases within the framework of the MRA theory is suggested. A realization of this method is illustrated by an example which gives a new 3-adic wavelet basis. Another realization leads to the p-adic Haar bases which were known before.  相似文献

We study those functions that can be written as a finite sum of periodic integer valued functions. On ℤ we give three different characterizations of these functions. For this we prove that the existence of a real valued periodic decomposition of a ℤ → ℤ function implies the existence of an integer valued periodic decomposition with the same periods. This result depends on the representation of the greatest common divisor of certain polynomials with integer coefficients as a linear combination of the given polynomials where the coefficients also belong to ℤ[x]. We give an example of an ℤ → {0, 1} function that has a bounded real valued periodic decomposition but does not have a bounded integer valued periodic decomposition with the same periods. It follows that the class of bounded ℤ → ℤ functions has the decomposition property as opposed to the class of bounded ℝ → ℤ functions. Some of these methods have been given names, such as trial and error, reversing FOIL, AC method, middle term splitting method and slip and slide method. Using the existence of integrable bi–almost‐periodic Green functions of linear homogeneous differential equations and the contraction fixed point, we are able to prove the existence of almost and pseudo–almost‐periodic mild solutions under quite general hypotheses for the differential equation with constant delay in a Banach space X, where τ>0 is a fixed constant. The results extend the corresponding ones in the case of exponential dichotomy. Some examples illustrate the importance of the concepts.  相似文献

Recently, Srivastava and Pintér proved addition theorems for the generalized Bernoulli and Euler polynomials. Luo and Srivastava obtained the anologous results for the generalized Apostol–Bernoulli polynomials and the generalized Apostol–Euler polynomials. Finally, Tremblay et al. gave analogues of the Srivastava–Pintér addition theorem for general family of Bernoulli polynomials. In this paper, we obtain Srivastava–Pintér type theorems for 2D‐Appell Polynomials. We also give the representation of 2D‐Appell Polynomials in terms of the Stirling numbers of the second kind and 1D‐Appell polynomials. Furthermore, we introduce the unified 2D‐Apostol polynomials. In particular, we obtain some relations between that family of polynomials and the generalized Hurwitz–Lerch zeta function as well as the Gauss hypergeometric function. In this paper a new class of higher order (F,ρ,σ)-type I functions for a multiobjective programming problem is introduced, which subsumes several known studied classes. Higher order Mond-Weir and Schaible type dual programs are formulated for a nondifferentiable multiobjective fractional programming problem where the objective functions and the constraints contain support functions of compact convex sets in Rn. Weak and strong duality results are studied in both the cases assuming the involved functions to be higher order (F,ρ,σ)-type I. A number of previously studied problems appear as special cases.  相似文献

The stability criteria in terms of two measures for impulsive functional differential equations are established via cone-valued Lyapunov functions and Razumikhin technique. The stability can be deduced from the (Q0,Q)-stability of comparison impulsive differential equations. An example is given to illustrate the advantages of the results obtained.  相似文献
