Theoretical calculations of equilibrium deformations and multipole moments of rare earth nuclei are presented. Good agreement with experiment for the centre of the rare earth region is found, but there are large discrepancies for the heavy Hf, W and Os isotopes and some light Sm and Gd nuclei. These discrepancies are related to hexadecapole moments and deformations. The assumption of a “partial bubble” like density distribution, as suggested by electron scattering measurements, is found to be insufficient to explain this hexadecapole anomaly. The inclusion of non-axial and hexadecapole degrees of freedom in processing the experimental data, as well as in performing theoretical calculations, is found to be the most promising approach to explaining the hexadecapole anomaly.  相似文献

在偶-偶核基态中寻找稳定的三轴形状,其中最大三轴形变为|γ|≈30°,仍然是核结构的一个主要主题。在本工作中,使用推转Woods-Saxon(WS)壳模型来研究Os-Pt区基态和集体转动态中可能的三轴形状。为寻找核态可能存在的三轴形变,具体用对力-形变-转动频率自洽推转壳模型对偶-偶176-202Os和182-204Pt同位素进行了总Routhian面计算。计算是在四极形变(β2,γ)网格中进行的,而十六极形变β4可变。事实上,在四极形变(β2,γ)的每个网格点上,计算的能量相对于十六极形变β4最小化。发现某些核的基态譬如196Os和188-194Pt既非扁椭球亦非长椭球,而是在这些核中基态极小值是形状非轴对称的,即三轴形变。同时,我们把从实验数据提取出的转动惯量与我们的计算结果作比较,显示实验数据不能很好地与转动假定相一致,说明有振动行为。此外,我们使用一种辅助的方法提取了平衡γ0值,该值...  相似文献

The evolution of shape from the spherical to the axially deformed shapes in the Sm isotopes is investigated microscopically in relativistic mean-field theory. The microscopic and self-consistent quadrupole deformation constrained relativistic mean-field calculations show a clear shape change for the even-even Sm isotopes with N = 82-96. The potential surfaces for 148Sm, 150Sm and 152Sm are found to be relatively flat, which may be the possible critical-point nuclei. By examining the single-particle spectra and nearest-neighbor spacing distribution of the single-particle levels, one finds that the single-particle levels in 148Sm , 150Sm, and 152Sm distribute more uniformly.  相似文献

Alpha-induced reactions on~(154)Sm,~(233,235,236,238)U, and ~(237)Np deformed nuclei are studied theoretically.The effects of hexadecapole deformation, deformed surface diffuseness parameter, and orientation on barrier height and position, fusion cross-section at any angle, and fusion cross-section have been investigated. Both hexadecapole deformation and deformed surface diffuseness can affect barrier characteristics and enhance fusion cross-section. Good agreement between experimental data and theoretical calculations with quadrupole and hexadecapole deformation and deformed surface diffuseness were observed for the ~4He+~(154)Sm,~(235)U,~(237)Np reactions.  相似文献

We study the structural properties of some light mass nuclei using two different formalisms(i) a recently developed simple effective interaction in the frame work of microscopic non-relativistic Hartree-Fock method and(ii)the well-known relativistic mean field approach with NL3 parameter set. The bulk properties like binding energy, root mean square radii and quadrupole deformation parameter are estimated and compared with the available experimental data. The predicted results of both the formalisms are well comparable with the experimental observations. The analysis of density profiles of these light mass nuclei suggest that22 O,23F,34 Si and46Ar have bubble like structure.  相似文献

Ground state properties of heavy deformed nuclei in the rare earth region are described in the framework of the relativistic Hartree approximation. Both linear and non-linear parameter sets of the lagrangian are used. The non-linear sets reproduce the experimentally observed binding energies, the charge radii and the quadrupole moments, with the same quality as non-relativistic density dependent mean field calculations with Skyrme forces.  相似文献

The octupole deformations and other ground state properties of even-even Rn, Th and U isotopes are investigated systematically within the framework of the reflection asymmetric relativistic mean field (RAS-RMF) model. The calculation results reproduce the binding energies and the quadrupole deformations well. The calculation results indicate these nuclei at ground states evolve from neaxly-spherical (N = 130) shape to quadrupole deformation shape with the increase of the neutron number. It is also found that among the Rn isotopes, only^222,224 Rn axe oetupole deformed and the octupole deformations for them are small. However, more nuclei (N ≌ 134 148) in Th and U isotopes are octupole deformed and the octupole deformations for some of them are significant (|β3|- 0.1 or even larger).  相似文献

The relativistic mean-field framework, extended to include correlations related to restoration of broken symmetries and to fluctuations of the quadrupole deformation, is applied to a study of shape transitions in Nd isotopes. It is demonstrated that the microscopic self-consistent approach, based on global effective interactions, can describe not only general features of transitions between spherical and deformed nuclei, but also the singular properties of excitation spectra and transition rates at the critical point of quantum shape phase transition.  相似文献

在相对论平均场理论的框架下,对Rn同位素链原子核的结合能、形变、同位素位移等若干基态性质进行了较详细的研究.结果表明,理论计算结果与已有的实验数据符合较好.原子核的四极形变主要出现在远离幻数的区域(N=110-124和N=129-142).而在中子数大于幻数的区域(N=127-142),十六级形变也非常明显.对电荷半径的研究显示,Rn同位素链的同位素位移曲线的斜率在中子幻数处出现明显的变化. 关键词: 相对论平均场理论 电荷半径 同位素位移 单粒子能级  相似文献

We have calculated the potential energy surfaces forN = Z,20Ne-112Ba nuclei in an axially deformed relativistic mean field approach. A quadratic constraint scheme is applied to determine the complete energy surface for a wide range of the quadrupole deformation. The NL3, NL-RA1 and TM1 parameter sets are used. The phenomenon of (multiple) shape coextistence is studied and the calculated ground and excited state binding energies, quadrupole deformation parameters and root mean square (rms) charge radii are compared with the available experimental data and other theoretical predictions.  相似文献

利用严格求解的Nilsson轴形变平均场加扩展对力模型,对Er和Yb同位素链基态形状(量子相)酷越进行了研究。通过该模型下能级比R02+/21+、奇偶能差、信息熵的计算,成功地再现了155-163Er和157-165Yb同位素相关物理量的形状(量子相)酷越行为。通过分析这些量随着四极形变参数和总体对力强度的变化过程,显示了这种酷越行为主要是由于对力强度与四极形变之间的竞争导致的,该结果揭示了本模型下的基态形状(量子相)酷越行为的来源。Ground-state shape (phase) crossover in Er and Yb isotopes is manifested in the axially deformed Nilsson mean-field plus extended pairing model. The energy ratio R02+/21+, the odd-even mass differences and the information entropy are calculated under the present model, reproduce the shape (phase) crossover behaviors of these quantities in 155-163Er and 157-165Yb isotopes. From the analysis of these quantities as functions of the quadrupole deformation parameter and the overall pairing interaction strength, it is shown that the crossover is mainly driven by the competition between the pairing interaction and the quadrupole deformation, which thus provides the origin of the shape (phase) crossover in the present model.  相似文献

Ne and Mg isotope chains are investigated based on constrained calculations in the framework of a deformed relativistic mean-field (RMF) model with the NL075 parameter set. The calculated quadrupole deformation and binding energy are compared with other theoretical results as well as the available experimental data. It shows that the calculated deformations of Ne and Mg with the NL075 are more accurate than those obtained with the NL-SH. It is predicted that ^19,29,32Ne and ^20,31Mg maybe have a triaxial deformation and ^25-28Ne and ^27-30Mg exhibit a shape coexistence probably. The closure effect of neutron number N=8 for ^20Mg is predicted to be very weak.  相似文献

Ground state properties for Mg isotopes, including binding energies, one- and two-neutron separation energies, pairing energies, nuclear matter radii and quadrupole deformation parameters, are obtained from the self-consistent relativistic mean field (RMF) model with the pairing correlations treated by a shell-mode-like approach (SLAP), in which the particle-number is conserved and the blocking effects are treated exactly. The experimental data, including the binding energies and the one- and two-neutron separation energies, which are sensitive to the treatment of pairing correlations and block effects, are well reproduced by the RMF+SLAP calculations.  相似文献

The technical realisation of the shell model with arbitrary fields is presented in detail, with special emphasis of the unusual and large deformations of the nuclear shape as they may occur in the fission process. We discuss how realistic parametrisations of the nuclear shape and the potential well can be developed and how the parameters of the average fields can be determined. We restrict ourselves to wells with a Woods-Saxon distribution in the radial coordinate. By means of Strutinsky's shell correction approach, the single particle energies deserve to calculate the potential part of a collective Hamiltonian. Its behaviour with varying deformation is discussed both qualitatively and quantitatively. Considered are the deformation types of elongation (1), necking (2), reflection (3) and axial (4) asymmetry of the nuclear shape. Evidence is given for geometrical symmetries which can be correlated to normal modes in finite nuclei. The transition from spherical to deformed nuclei is presented in detail for the radium isotopes, revealing the importance of hexadecapole deformations. Finally, we give an extensive and systematic presentation of the energies and of the deformations at the various stationary points of the deformation energy for the nuclei in the actinide region and for the hypothetical superheavy nuclei.  相似文献

The influence of the quadrupole pairing interaction on the value of the collective potential and inertia of fissioning nuclei is presented. The calculation employed a Nilsson potential having quadrupole and hexadecapole deformations. The collective inertia and potential found were then used to estimate the spontaneous fission lifetimes of a number of Fm isotopes. It was found that the calculated lifetimes are very sensitive to the presence of the quadrupole pairing forces.  相似文献

Ground state intrinsic deformation properties of some rare earth nuclei are calculated within the Hartree-Fock approximation using a Skyrme effective interaction. After a careful optimization of basis parameters, calculations have been performed with a basis corresponding to 13 spherical oscillator shells. In order to obtain the multipole moments, good numerical convergence is necessary. Calculated quadrupole and hexadecapole moments are in agreement with available experimental data.
