研究了具有插队和止步行为的M/M/c排队系统. 将到达顾客分为常规顾客和插队顾客, 常规顾客在队尾排队等待服务, 插队顾客总是尽可能的靠近队首插队等待服务. 插队行为由到达顾客的插队概率和队列中等待顾客对插队行为的容忍来描述. 利用负指数分布的性质、Laplace-Stieltjes变换和全概率公式, 给出了处于等待队列位置n的顾客、任意一个常规顾客和任意一个插队顾客的等待时间的表达式. 在此基础上, 讨论了系统相关指标随系统参数的变化情况.  相似文献

In this note we consider the fluid queue driven by anM/M/1 queue as analysed by Virtamo and Norros [Queueing Systems 16 (1994) 373–386]. We show that the stationary buffer content in this model can be easily analysed by looking at embedded time points. This approach gives the stationary buffer content distribution in terms of the modified Bessel function of the first kind of order one. By using a suitable integral representation for this Bessel function we show that our results coincide with the ones of Virtamo and Norros.  相似文献

We extend the approach of Koole et al. (2012) [15] and Legros et al. (2018) [20] for the G/M/1 queue. The idea is to provide a Markovian approximation where a state represents the oldest customer's wait. This modeling is made possible by creating states with negative wait, representing an estimate of the time at which a new customer would arrive when the system is empty. We apply this method for performance evaluation and routing optimization. Finally, we further extend the model to the G/M/1+G queue.  相似文献

Consider a model consisting of two phases: the GI/GI/1 queue and a buffer which is fed by a fluid arriving from a single-server queue. The fluid output from the GI/GI/1 queue is of the on/off type with on- and off-periods distributed as successive busy and idle periods in the GI/GI/1 queue. The fluid pours out of the buffer at a constant rate. The steady-state performance of this model is studied. We derive the Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the stationary distribution function of the buffer content in the case of the M/GI/1 queue in the first phase. It is shown that this distribution depends on the form of the service-time distribution. Therefore, the replacement of an M/GI/1 queue by an M/M/1 queue is not correct, in general. Continuity estimates are derived in the cast where the buffer is fed from the GI/GI/1 queue. 考虑服务员在休假期间不是完全停止工作,而是以相对于正常工作时低些的速率服务顾客的M/M/1工作休假排队模型.在此模型基础上,笔者针对现实的M/M/1排队模型中可能出现的外来干扰因素,提出了带RCE(Removal of Customers at the End)抵消策略的负顾客M/M/1工作休假排队这一新的模型.服务规则为先到先服务.工作休假策略为空竭服务多重工作休假.抵消原则为负顾客一对一抵消队尾的正顾客,若系统中无正顾客时,到达的负顾客自动消失,负顾客不接受服务.使用拟生灭过程和矩阵几何解方法给出了系统队长的稳态分布,证明了系统队长和等待时间的随机分解结果并给出稳态下系统中正顾客的平均队长和顾客在系统中的平均等待时间.  相似文献

A fluid queue receiving its input from the output of a precedingM/M/1 queue is considered. The input can be characterized as a Markov modulated rate process and the well known spectral decomposition technique can be applied. The novel features in this system relate to the nature of the spectrum, which is shown to be composed of a continuous part and one or two discrete points depending on whether the load of the fluid queue is less or greater than the output to input rate ratio. Explicit expressions of the generalized eigenvectors are given in terms of Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind, and the resolution of unity is determined. The solution for the buffer content distribution is obtained as a simple integral expression. Numerical examples are given.  相似文献

This paper discusses a class of M/M/1 queueing models in which the service time of a customer depends on the number of customers served in the current busy period. It is particularly suited for applications in which the server has kind of learning ability and warms up gradually. We present a simple and computationally tractable scheme which recursively determines the stationary probabilities of the queue length. Other performance measures such as the Laplace transform of the busy period are also obtained. For the firstN exceptional services model which can be considered as a special case of our model, we derive a closed-formula for the generating function of the stationary queue length distribution. 在到达系统的顾客数不变的情况下,顾客到达系统但是否进入系统接受服务对销售行业影响是巨大的.从排队长度对顾客输入率的影响着手,研究了顾客以泊松流到达系统,而到达系统的顾客进入系统接受服务的概率与队长有关的M/M/1排队模型,且系统服务会出差错.得出了进入系统的顾客流是泊松过程,且系统中的顾客数是生灭过程,并获得了该模型的平稳分布、顾客的平均输入率、系统的平均服务强度等多项指标,为销售行业调整自己的服务速度以影响排队长度及顾客输入率,进而提高自己的销售业绩提供了很有价值的参考.  相似文献

研究具有Bernoulli控制策略的M/M/1多重休假排队模型: 当系统为空时, 服务台依一定的概率或进入闲期, 或进入普通休假状态, 或进入工作休假状态. 对该模型, 应用拟生灭(QBD)过程和矩阵几何解的方法, 得到了过程平稳队长的具体形式, 在此基础上, 还得到了平稳队长和平稳逗留时间的随机分解结果以及附加队长分布和附加延迟的LST的具体形式. 结果表明, 经典的M/M/1排队, M/M/1多重休假排队, M/M/1多重工作休假排队都是该模型的特殊情形.  相似文献

This paper considers theM/M/c queue in which a customer leaves when its service has not begun within a fixed interval after its arrival. The loss probability can be expressed in a simple formula involving the waiting time probabilities in the standardM/M/c queue. The purpose of this paper is to give a probabilistic derivation of this formula and to outline a possible use of this general formula in theM/M/c retrial queue with impatient customers. We obtain the sojourn time probability distribution function at equilibrium for a Markov modulated, multi-server, single queue with generalised exponential (GE) service time distribution and compound Poisson arrivals of both positive and negative customers. Such arrival processes can model both burstiness and correlated traffic and are well suited to models of ATM and other telecommunication networks. Negative customers remove (ordinary) customers in the queue and are similarly correlated and bursty. We consider both the cases where negative customers remove positive customers from the front and the end of the queue and, in the latter case, where a customer currently being served can and cannot be killed by a negative customer. These cases can model an unreliable server or load balancing respectively. The results are obtained as Laplace transforms and can be inverted numerically. The MM CPP/GE/c G-Queue therefore holds the promise of being a viable building block for the analysis of queues and queueing networks with bursty, correlated traffic, incorporating load balancing and node-failures, since the equilibrium behaviour of both queue lengths and response times can be determined in a tractable way.  相似文献

本文研究了带有止步和中途退出的M^x/M/1/N多重休假排队系统。顾客成批到达,到达后每批中的顾客,或者以概率b决定进入队列等待服务,或者以概率1-b止步(不进入系统)。顾客进入系统后可能因为等待的不耐烦而在没有接受服务的情况下离开系统(中途退出)。系统中一旦没有顾客,服务员立即进行多重休假。首先,利用马尔科夫过程理论建立了系统稳态概率满足的方程组。其次,在利用高等代数相关知识证明了相关矩阵可逆性的基础上,利用矩阵解法求出了稳态概率的矩阵解,并得到了系统的平均队长、平均等待队长以及顾客的平均损失率等性能指标。  相似文献

This paper treats the maximum queue length M, in terms of the number of customers present, in a busy cycle in the M/G/1 queue. The distribution of M depends both on the service time distribution and on the service discipline. Assume that the service times have a logconvex density and the discipline is Foreground Background (FB). The FB service discipline gives service to the customer(s) that have received the least amount of service so far. It is shown that under these assumptions the tail of M is bounded by an exponential tail. This bound is used to calculate the time to overflow of a buffer, both in stable and unstable queues.  相似文献

Consider anM/M/1 queueing system with server vacations where the server is turned off as soon as the queue gets empty. We assume that the vacation durations form a sequence of i.i.d. random variables with exponential distribution. At the end of a vacation period, the server may either be turned on if the queue is non empty or take another vacation. The following costs are incurred: a holding cost ofh per unit of time and per customer in the system and a fixed cost of each time the server is turned on. We show that there exists a threshold policy that minimizes the long-run average cost criterion. The approach we use was first proposed in Blanc et al. (1990) and enables us to determine explicitly the optimal threshold and the optimal long-run average cost in terms of the model parameters.  相似文献

The central model of this paper is anM/M/1 queue with a general probabilistic feedback mechanism. When a customer completes his ith service, he departs from the system with probability 1–p(i) and he cycles back with probabilityp(i). The mean service time of each customer is the same for each cycle. We determine the joint distribution of the successive sojourn times of a tagged customer at his loops through the system. Subsequently we let the mean service time at each loop shrink to zero and the feedback probabilities approach one in such a way that the mean total required service time remains constant. The behaviour of the feedback queue then approaches that of anM/G/1 processor sharing queue, different choices of the feedback probabilities leading to different service time distributions in the processor sharing model. This is exploited to analyse the sojourn time distribution in theM/G/1 queue with processor sharing.Some variants are also considered, viz., anM/M/1 feedback queue with additional customers who are always present, and anM/G/1 processor sharing queue with feedback.  相似文献
