In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme by the viscosity approximation method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove a strong convergence theorem which is connected with Combettes and Hirstoaga's result [P.L. Combettes, S.A. Hirstoaga, Equilibrium programming in Hilbert spaces, J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 6 (2005) 117-136] and Wittmann's result [R. Wittmann, Approximation of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, Arch. Math. 58 (1992) 486-491]. Using this result, we obtain two corollaries which improve and extend their results. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the problem for finding the set of solutions for equilibrium problems, the set of solutions of the variational inequalities for k-Lipschitz continuous mappings and fixed point problems for nonexpansive mappings in a Hilbert space. We introduce a new viscosity extragradient approximation method which is based on the so-called viscosity approximation method and extragradient method. We show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some parameters controlling conditions. Finally, we utilize our results to study some convergence problems for finding the zeros of maximal monotone operators. Our results are generalization and extension of the results of Kumam [P. Kumam, Strong convergence theorems by an extragradient method for solving variational inequalities and equilibrium problems in a Hilbert space, Turk. J. Math. 33 (2009) 85–98], Wangkeeree [R. In this paper, we introduce two iterative schemes by the general iterative method for finding a common element of the set of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then, we prove two strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings to solve a unique solution of the variational inequality which is the optimality condition for the minimization problem. These results extended and improved the corresponding results of Marino and Xu [G. Marino, H.K. Xu, A general iterative method for nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 318 (2006) 43-52], S. Takahashi and W. Takahashi [S. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Viscosity approximation methods for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. We introduce a new composite iterative scheme by viscosity approximation method for finding a common point of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. It is proved that the sequence generated by the iterative scheme converges strongly to a common point of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping. Our results substantially improve the corresponding results of Takahashi and Takahashi [A. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Viscosity approximation methods for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 331 (2007) 506-515]. Essentially a new approach for finding solutions of equilibrium problems and the fixed points of nonexpansive mappings is provided. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and construct the implicit and explicit viscosity iterative processes by a generalized contraction mapping f and a nonexpansive semigroup {T(t):t0}, and to prove that under suitable conditions these iterative processes converge strongly to a unique common fixed point of {T(t):t0} in reflexive Banach spaces which admits a weakly sequentially continuous duality mapping. 相似文献

Let E a real reflexive Banach space which admits a weakly sequentially continuous duality mapping from E to E∗, and K be a closed convex subset of E which is also a sunny nonexpansive retract of E, and be nonexpansive mappings satisfying the weakly inward condition and F(T)≠∅, and be a fixed contractive mapping. The implicit iterative sequence {xt} is defined by for t∈(0,1)
xt=P(tf(xt)+(1−t)Txt). 相似文献

Strong convergence of a general iterative algorithm for equilibrium problems and variational inequality problems 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The purpose of this paper is to study the strong convergence of a general iterative scheme to find a common element of the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of variation inequalities for a relaxed cocoercive mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem. Our results extend recent results announced by many others. 相似文献

In this paper we study iterative algorithms for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of κ-strict pseudocontractions or finding a solution of a variational inequality problem for a monotone, Lipschitz continuous mapping. The last problem being related to finding fixed points of pseudocontractions. These algorithms were already studied in [G.L. Acedo, H.-K. Xu, Iterative methods for strict pseudo-contractions in hilbert spaces, Nonlinear Analysis 67 (2007) 2258–2271] and [N. Nadezhkina, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorem by a hybrid method for nonexpansive mappings and lipschitz-continuous monotone mappings, SIAM Journal on Optimization 16 (4) (2006) 1230–1241] but our aim here is to provide the links between these known algorithms and the general framework of -class algorithms studied in [H.H. Bauschke, P.L. Combettes, A weak-to-strong convergence principle for fejér-monotone methods in hilbert spaces, Mathematics of Operations Research 26 (2) (2001) 248–264]. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new iteration method based on the hybrid method in mathematical programming and the descent-like method for finding a common element of the set of solutions for a variational inequality and the set of fixed points for a nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert spaces. Our method modifies and improves some methods in literature. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new viscosity approximation scheme based on the extragradient method for finding a common element of the set of solutions to a system of equilibrium problems, the set of fixed points of an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions to the variational inequality for a monotone, Lipschitz continuous mapping. Several convergence results for the sequences generated by these processes in Hilbert spaces were derived. 相似文献

Brodskii and Milman proved that there is a point in C(K), the set of all Chebyshev centers of K, which is fixed by every surjective isometry from K into K whenever K is a nonempty weakly compact convex subset having normal structure in a Banach space. Motivated by this result, Lim et al. raised the following question namely “does there exist a point in C(K) which is fixed by every isometry from K into K?”. In fact, Lim et al. proved that “if K is a nonempty weakly compact convex subset of a uniformly convex Banach space, then the Chebyshev center of K is fixed by every isometry T from K into K”. In this paper, we prove that if K is a nonempty weakly compact convex set having normal structure in a strictly convex Banach space and F is a commuting family of isometry mappings on K then there exists a point in C(K) which is fixed by every mapping in F. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a general iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of common solutions of generalized equilibrium problems, the set of common fixed points of a family of infinite non-expansive mappings. Strong convergence theorems are established in a real Hilbert space under suitable conditions. As some applications, we consider convex feasibility problems and equilibrium problems. The results presented improve and extend the corresponding results of many others. 相似文献

Viscosity approximation methods for nonexpansive mappings are studied. Consider the iteration process {xn}, where x0∈C is arbitrary and xn+1=αnf(xn)+(1−αn)SPC(xn−λnAxn), f is a contraction on C, S is a nonexpansive self-mapping of a closed convex subset C of a Hilbert space H. It is shown that {xn} converges strongly to a common element of the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse strongly-monotone mapping which solves some variational inequality. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new iterative process for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive
mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for an α-inverse-strongly-monotone, by combining an modified extragradient scheme with the viscosity approximation method. We prove
a strong convergence theorem for the sequences generated by this new iterative process.

Implicit and explicit viscosity methods for finding common solutions of equilibrium and hierarchical fixed points are presented. These methods are used to solve systems of equilibrium problems and variational inequalities where the involving operators are complements of nonexpansive mappings. In this paper, we propose an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a strict pseudo-contraction mapping in the setting of real Hilbert spaces. We establish some weak and strong convergence theorems of the sequences generated by our proposed scheme. Our results combine the ideas of Marino and Xu’s result [G. Marino, H.K. Xu, Weak and strong convergence theorems for strict pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 329 (2007) 336–346], and Takahashi and Takahashi’s result [S. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Viscosity approximation methods for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 331 (2007) 506–515]. In particular, necessary and sufficient conditions for strong convergence of our iterative scheme are obtained. 相似文献

In this paper, we present an iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of a variational inclusion in a real Hilbert space. Furthermore, we prove that the proposed iterative algorithm has strong convergence under some mild conditions imposed on algorithm parameters. 相似文献
