We describe the bifurcation hypersurfaces for periodic solutions of a singularly perturbed linear differential difference equation in the space of the coefficients of the equation. For low dimension we show that the locus of stability of that equation approaches the locus of stability of a limit difference equation.  相似文献

In this paper we present an “iteration” technique for a class of differential equation having the form z=λz, where λ is a function in C. We show that we can construct not only the general solution of the reduced wave equation but also the general solution of the Riccati differential equation by using this iteration technique if the given function λ is satisfies the condition

A Haar wavelet operational matrix method (HWOMM) was derived to solve the Riccati differential equations. As a result, the computation of the nonlinear term was simplified by using the Block pulse function to expand the Haar wavelet one. The proposed method can be used to solve not only the classical Riccati differential equations but also the fractional ones. The capability and the simplicity of the proposed method was demonstrated by some examples and comparison with other methods.  相似文献

A known result on the classification of transitive Lie group actions on complex Grassmann manifolds is exploited to derive a necessary and sufficient accessibility criterion for the complex matrix differential Riccati equation. We treat both cases, the symmetric as well as the non-symmetric Riccati equation. Corresponding accessibility results for the real Riccati equation are also available, but not stated here. We consider the initial value problem for a nonsymmetric matrix Riccati differential equation, where the four coefficient matrices form an M-matrix. We show that for a wide range of initial values the Riccati differential equation has a global solution X(t) on [0,∞) and X(t) converges to the stable equilibrium solution as t goes to infinity.  相似文献

The paper presents a method to find the solution of the constant coefficient matrix differential Riccati differential in terms of solutions of algebraic Riccati and Lyapunov equations, and the state transition matrix (matrix exponential) of the corresponding linear dynamic system. The method presented represents an improved method of Potter-Anderson-Moore since the solution is obtained under milder assumptions than the original algorithm of Potter-Anderson-Moore. An aircraft and satellite examples done in the paper demonstrate the advantages of the improved algorithm.  相似文献

We consider a system of M(≥2) singularly perturbed equations of reaction-diffusion type coupled through the reaction term. A high order Schwarz domain decomposition method is developed to solve the system numerically. The method splits the original domain into three overlapping subdomains. On two boundary layer subdomains we use a compact fourth order difference scheme on a uniform mesh while on the interior subdomain we use a hybrid scheme on a uniform mesh. We prove that the method is almost fourth order ε-uniformly convergent. Furthermore, we prove that when ε is small, one iteration is sufficient to get almost fourth order ε-uniform convergence. Numerical experiments are performed to support the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe a numerical method based on fitted operator finite difference scheme for the boundary value problems for singularly perturbed delay differential equations with turning point and mixed shifts. Similar boundary value problems are encountered while simulating several real life processes for instance, first exit time problem in the modelling of neuronal variability. A rigorous analysis is carried out to obtain priori estimates on the solution and its derivatives for the considered problem. In the development of numerical methods for constructing an approximation to the solution of the problem, a special type of mesh is generated to tackle the delay term along with the turning point. Then, to develop robust numerical scheme and deal with the singularity because of the small parameter multiplying the highest order derivative term, an exponential fitting parameter is used. Several numerical examples are presented to support the theory developed in the paper.  相似文献

We treat a Riccati differential equation w+w2+p(z)=0, where p(z) is a nonconstant doubly periodic meromorphic function. Under certain assumptions, every solution is meromorphic in the whole complex plane. We show that the growth order of it is equal to 2, and examine the frequency of α-points and poles.
