Structural changes to metallosupramolecular assemblies resulting in the release or uptake of guests are currently well established, whereas transformations turning on and off specific self-recognition are far less developed. We report a novel ligand (2,6-bis(1-(3-pyridin-4-yl)phenyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)pyridine) possessing a tridentate central metal-binding site flanked by two pendant pyridyl arms. In a 2:1 ratio with PdII metal ions, a spiro-type [PdL2]2+ “Figure-of-eight” complex forms with the central tridentate binding pocket unoccupied. The introduction of an additional one equivalent of PdII metal ion results in the conversion to a dimeric [Pd2L2]4+ molecule with the tridentate pocket occupied. There is site-specific self-recognition between dimers in solution with strong NOE peaks between adjacent molecules. The self-recognition between dimers can be turned off in two ways: firstly, adding another equivalent of PdII metal ion brings about binding to the previously uncoordinated pyridyl arms that are key to the self-recognition event, and; secondly, addition of sufficient ligand to return the stoichiometry to 2:1 regenerates the [PdL2]2+ complex. Chromones are introduced into a double-tandem [4(π)+2(π)]·[2(π)+2(π)]·[4(π)+2(π)]·[2(π)+2(π)] synthetic sequence, culminating in photoprotolytic oxametathesis, which leads to an expeditious growth of molecular complexity over a few experimentally simple steps. The overall reaction can potentially be utilized in diversity-oriented synthesis, as it allows for three or more diversity inputs furnishing novel unique polycyclic scaffolds decorated with a variety of functionalities and aromatic/heterocyclic pendants. The polycyclic alkenes, resulting from the oxametathesis step, were found to undergo efficient and clean photoinduced epoxidation when irradiated in the presence of molecular oxygen. 相似文献

The reaction of pentaphenylantimony with mercury iodide affords the ionic complex [Ph4Sb] 2 + [Hg2I6]2?·Ph2Hg (I). The [Ph4Sb] 2 + [Hg2I6]2? (II) and [Ph4Sb] 2 + [Cd2I6]2? (III) complexes are synthesized from tetraphenylantimony iodide and mercury and cadmium iodides. The [Ph4Sb] 2 + [Hg4I10]2? complex (IV) is prepared from tetraphenylantimony 2,4-dimethylbenzenesulfonate and mercury iodide. According to the X-ray diffraction data, the Sb atom in the [Ph4Sb]+ cations of complex I has virtually ideal tetrahedral coordination (the CSbC angles are 108.09°–109.64°). In the central square fragment Hg2I2 of the [Hg2I6]2? anion, the Hg-Ibr bond lengths are 2.825 and 3.075 Å, and the terminal iodine atoms are more strongly bonded to the mercury atoms (Hg-Iterm 2.691 and 2.700 Å). The [Cd2I6]2? anion in complex III has a similar structure (the Cd-Ibridg and Cd-Iterm distances are 2.865, 2.872 and 2.723, 2.748 Å, respectively). The anions in complex IV are joined by I…Hg (3.651 Å) and I…I (4.058 Å) interactions into an infinite dimeric network. 相似文献

α-Acyloxynitroso derivatives are a class of heterodienophiles leading to valuable 3,6-dihydro-1,2-oxazines or the corresponding aminoalcohols in good yields. The discovery that a β-oxygenated moiety led to a domino [4+2] cycloaddition/σN-O bond cleavage in the presence of a catalytic amount of Lewis acid was investigated in detail, through kinetic profiling of the reaction both in the absence and presence of a promoter. These studies showed that the role of the Lewis acid was to accelerate the σN-O bond cleavage thereby promoting a highly reproducible sequence. In addition, our preliminary results on an asymmetric version of this domino sequence are reported. 相似文献

The reaction of equimolar amounts of triphenylamyl- and triphenylpropylphosphonium iodides and triethanolammonium iodide with antimony iodide in dimethyl sulfoxide, dioxane, or acetone gave complexes [Ph3AmP] 2 + [Sb2I8 · 2DMSO]2?, [Ph3PrP] 2 + [Sb2I8 · C4H8O2]2?, and [(HOCH2CH2)3NH] 4 + [Sb4I16]4?, the structure of which was established by X-ray diffraction analysis. The cations of all complexes have slightly distorted tetrahedral structure, and the antimony atoms in the anions are hexacoordinated. The formation of a tetranuclear self-assembled species constructed around a TiO4N2 motif is reported. This aggregate is generated from Ti(OiPr)4, 2,2’-bipyrimidine (bpym) and a bis-biphenol strand (L2H4) where two 2,2’-biphenol units are connected with a biphenyl spacer. The solid-state structure of the [Ti4(L2)4(bpym)4] architecture reveals the formation of an unprecedented chiral alternate [2×2] grid. In addition to the structural characterization of the [Ti4(L2)4(bpym)4] architecture, geometry optimisation on various possible isomeric tetrameric assemblies ([2×2] grid, alternate [2×2] grid, circular helicate or cyclic hemihelicate) is performed using DFT calculations. These results confirm the higher stability of the alternate [2×2] grid over the other possible tetranuclear isomers and allow examining the replacement of the bpym ligands by two novel diimine chelates within the tetranuclear assembly (2,2’-bipyridine=bipy and 2,2’-bipyrazine=bipyraz). From this initial theoretical investigation, the competition between these three nitrogen ligands in the course of the self-assembly process is next evaluated. Overall, this investigation shows that the exclusive formation of the alternate [2×2] grid is driven by CH⋅⋅⋅N interactions. 相似文献

The palladium-catalyzed reaction of 4-iodo-2-quinolones with activated alkynes was investigated. Cyclopenta[de]quinoline-2(1 H)-ones and/or phenanthridine-6(5 H)-ones were obtained through [3+2] annulation involving aromatic C−H activation or [2+2+2] annulation involving vinylic C−H activation, respectively. Stereoselective inverse-demand [4+2] cycloadditions of 3,6-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine and dimethyl 1,2,4,5-tetrazine-3,6-dicarboxylate to 4′-methylenedihydro-3′H-spiro[bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,2′-furans] and 4′-methylene-1′-(4-nitrophenyl)spiro[bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-3,2′-pyrrolidine] were studied. Cycloadditions took place stereoselectively at the exocyclic CC double bonds to give novel 11:14-isopropylidene-14-methyl-2,3-diaza-8-oxadispiro[5.1.5.2]pentadecane and 11:14-isopropylidene-11-methyl-2,3,8-triazadispiro[5.1.5.2]pentadecane derivatives in 50–98% de. Complexes [(4-MeC6H4)4Sb] 2 + [Hg2I6]2? (I), [(4-MeC6H4)4Sb] 2 + [HgI4]2? (II), [(4-MeC6H4)4Sb] 3 + [Sb3I12]2? (III), were synthesized by reactions of tetra-p-tolylantimony iodide with mercury iodide and antimony iodide, respectively. Tetra-p-tolylantimony perrhenate [(4-MeC6H4)4Sb]+[ReO4]? (IV) was prepared from tetra-p-tolylantimony chloride and sodium perrhenate in acetone. Crystal structures of complexes I, II, and IV were determined by X-ray crystallography. Mercury and rhenium atoms have tetrahedral coordinations in these complexes. The Hg-I and Re-O distances in the structures of I, II, and IV vary within 2.7719(13)–2.7908(12)Å, 2.7028(3)–2.9163(3) Å, and 1.693(3)–1.744(3) Å, respectively. Antimony atoms in two crystallographically independent trinuclear centrosymmetric [Sb3I12]2? anions of complex III have an octahedral environment. Each terminal SbI3 fragment (Sb-It, 2.8265(9)–2.8333(10)Å) is bound to the central atom through tree bridging iodine atoms (Sb(2)-Ibr, 3.2275(9)–3.3620(10)Å). The distances between the central Sb atom and bridging iodine atoms are much shorter (Sb(1)-Ibr, 3.0153(6)–3.0316(6) Å; Sb(3)-Ibr, 2.9926(6)–3.0074(6) Å). 相似文献

Theoretical studies on the complexes Ru(bpy)2L2+, Ru(phen)2L2+ (L=pytp,pztp) were carried out by using the density functional theory (DFT) method at B3LYP/LanL2DZ level. The relation between electronic structures and anti-cancer activities of complexes was investigated. The increasing of N in the main ligand can strengthen the interaction of complexes with DNA and anti cancer activities of complexes. The [NpO2(DPPMO2)2Cl][NpO2Cl4] complex (where DPPMO2 = bis(diphenylphosphino)methanedioxide) contains the linear neptunyl group, {NpO2}2+, with two bidentate P=O donor ligands. Coordinating anion Cl? fills the fifth equatorial coordination site yielding a complex of general formula [NpO2(DPPMO2)2X]2[Y] (1) (where X = Cl? and Y = [NpO2Cl4]2?. Reaction between our newly prepared neptunium starting material [NpO2Cl2(thf)]n and phosphinimine ligand produced crystals of [Ph3PNH2]2[NpO2Cl4] (2).
