The Z \to c\bar c \to \gamma \gamma *, Z \to b\bar b \to \gamma \gamma * triangle diagrams and the Z → γψ, Z → γγ decays

We expounded an approach for studying the Z ?? ??? and Z ?? ???? decay based on the sum rules for the $Z \to c\bar c \to \gamma \gamma *$ and $Z \to b\bar b \to \gamma \gamma *$ amplitudes and their derivatives. We calculate the branching ratios of the Z ?? ??? and Z ?? ???? decays under different suppositions about the saturation of the sum rules. We find the lower bounds of ?? _?? BR(Z ?? ???) = 1.95 · 10 ^?7 and ?? _?? BR(Z ?? ????) = 7.23 · 10^?7 and discuss deviations from the lower bounds including the possibility of BR[Z ?? ??J/??(1S)] ?? BR[Z ?? ????(1S)] ?? 10 ^?6 , which is probably measurable at the LHC. Moreover, we calculate the angle distributions in the Z ?? ??? and Z ?? ???? decays.     

Szegö and Bergman projections on non-smooth planar domains

We establish L^p regularity for the Szegö and Bergman projections associated to a simply connected planar domain in any of the following classes: vanishing chord arc; Lipschitz; Ahlfors-regular; or local graph (for the Szegö projection to be well defined, the local graph curve must be rectifiable). As applications, we obtain L^p regularity for the Riesz transforms, as well as Sobolev space regularity for the non-homogeneous Dirichlet problem associated to any of the domains above and, more generally, to an arbitrary proper simply connected domain in the plane.

In this paper we determine the method of multi-parameter interpolation and the scales of Lebesgue spaces $B_{\vec p} \left[ {0,2\pi } \right)$ and Besov spaces $B_{\vec p}^{\vec \alpha } \left[ {0,2\pi } \right)$ , which are generalizations of the Lorentz spacesL _pq [0, 2π) and Besov spacesB _pq ^α [0, 2π). We also prove imbedding theorems.     

Maximal regularity for the Lamé system in certain classes of non-smooth domains

The aim of this article is twofold. On the one hand, we study the well-posedness of the Lamé system ${-\mu\Delta-\mu'\nabla{\rm div} }The aim of this article is twofold. On the one hand, we study the well-posedness of the Lamé system -mD-m￠?div{-\mu\Delta-\mu'\nabla{\rm div} } in L ^q (Ω), where Ω is an open subset of \mathbbRⁿ{{\mathbb{R}}^n} satisfying mild regularity assumptions and the Lamé moduli μ, μ′ are such that μ > 0 and μ + μ′ > 0. On the other hand, we prove the analyticity of the semigroup generated by the Lamé operator as well as the maximal regularity property for the time-dependent Lamé system equipped with a homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition based on off-diagonal estimates.

Sharp hölder estimates for\overline \partial on ellipsoids

We solve the -equation on real and on complex ellipsoids in ^N. It is proved that the solution satisfies sharp Hölder estimates. That is, the Hölder exponent equals the reciprocal of the maximal order of contact of the boundary of the ellipsoid with complex-analytic curves.Supported by NSF grant DMS 8401273.Supported by the Netherlands' organization for the advancement of pure research ZWO.     

Positive\partial \bar \partial - closed currents and non-Kähler geometrycurrents and non-Kähler geometry

In this paper some new results on positive \(\partial \bar \partial - closed\) currents are applied to modifications \(f:\bar M \to M\) . The main result in this topic is that every smooth proper modification of a compact Kähler manifoldM is balanced. Moreover, under suitable hypotheses on the map, the Kähler degrees of \(\bar M\) corresponds to homological properties of the exceptional set of the modification. More examples ofp-Kähler manifolds are discussed in the last section of the paper.
