This paper studies scale-type stability for neural networks with unbounded time-varying delays and Lipschitz continuous activation functions. Several sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability and global asymptotic stability of such neural networks on time scales are derived. The new results can extend the existing relevant stability results in the previous literatures to cover some general neural networks.  相似文献

This paper studies the global convergence properties of a class of neutral-type neural networks with discrete time delays. This class of neutral systems includes Cohen–Grossberg neural networks, Hopfield neural networks and cellular neural networks. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorems, some delay independent sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point for this class of neutral-type systems are derived. It is shown that the results presented in this paper for neutral-type delayed neural networks are the generalization of a recently reported stability result. A numerical example is also given to demonstrate the applicability of our proposed stability criteria.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the stability of a class of two-station multiclass fluid networks with proportional routing. We obtain explicit necessary and sufficient conditions for the global stability of such networks. By virtue of a stability theorem of Dai [14], these results also give sufficient conditions for the stability of a class of related multiclass queueing networks. Our study extends the results of Dai and VandeVate [19], who provided a similar analysis for fluid models without proportional routing, which arise from queueing networks with deterministic routing. The models we investigate include fluid models which arise from a large class of two-station queueing networks with probabilistic routing. The stability conditions derived turn out to have an appealing intuitive interpretation in terms of virtual stations and push-starts which were introduced in earlier work on multiclass networks.  相似文献

This paper studies the structural monostability and structural cycle‐stability of Boolean networks (BNs). Firstly, the structural‐equivalent Boolean networks are converted to the algebraic forms by using the semitensor product of matrices. Secondly, the concepts of structural monostability and structural cycle‐stability for Boolean networks are proposed. On the basis of the algebraic forms of structural‐equivalent Boolean networks, some necessary and sufficient conditions are presented for the structural monostability and structural cycle‐stability of Boolean networks. Finally, an illustrative example is worked out to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability problem of Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy Cohen–Grossberg Bidirectional Associative Memory neural networks (FCGBAMNNs) with discrete and distributed time-varying delays is considered. A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of FCGBAMNNs which are represented by TS fuzzy models. Our results can be easily verified and are also less restrictive than previously known criteria and can be applied to Cohen–Grossberg neural networks, recurrent neural networks and cellular neural networks. Finally, the proposed stability conditions are demonstrated with a numerical example.  相似文献

In this paper, global robust stability for delayed neural networks is studied. First the free-weighting matrices are employed to express the relationship between the terms in the system equation, and a stability condition for delayed neural networks is derived by using the S-procedure. Then this result is extended to establish a global robust stability criterion for delayed neural networks with polytopic type uncertainties. A numerical example given in [IEEE Trans Circuits Syst II 52 (2005) 33–36] for interval delayed neural networks is investigated. The effectiveness of the presented global robust stability criterion and its improvement over the existing results are demonstrated.  相似文献

Global asymptotic stability and exponential stability of delayed cellular neural networks is considered in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov stability theorem as well as a fact about the elemental inequality, some new sufficient conditions are given for global asymptotic stability and exponential stability of delayed cellular neural networks. This paper investigates the general decay pathwise stability conditions on a class of stochastic neural networks with mixed delays by applying Lasalle method. The mixed time delays comprise both time-varying delays and infinite distributed delays. The contributions are as follows: (1)?we extend the Lasalle-type theorem to cover stochastic differential equations with mixed delays; (2)?based on the stochastic Lasalle theorem and the M-matrix theory, new criteria of general decay stability, which includes the almost surely exponential stability and the almost surely polynomial stability and the partial stability, for neural networks with mixed delays are established. As an application of our results, this paper also considers a two-dimensional delayed stochastic neural networks model.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of global exponential stability and exponential convergence rate for a class of impulsive discrete-time neural networks with time-varying delays. Firstly, by means of the Lyapunov stability theory, some inequality analysis techniques and a discrete-time Halanay-type inequality technique, sufficient conditions for ensuring global exponential stability of discrete-time neural networks are derived, and the estimated exponential convergence rate is provided as well. The obtained results are then applied to derive global exponential stability criteria and exponential convergence rate of impulsive discrete-time neural networks with time-varying delays. In this paper, flow models of networks without congestion control are considered. Users generate data transfers according to some Poisson processes and transmit corresponding packet at a fixed rate equal to their access rate until the entire document is received at the destination; some erasure codes are used to make the transmission robust to packet losses. We study the stability of the stochastic process representing the number of active flows in two particular cases: linear networks and upstream trees. For the case of linear networks, we notably use fluid limits and an interesting phenomenon of “time scale separation” occurs. Bounds on the stability region of linear networks are given. For the case of upstream trees, underlying monotonic properties are used. Finally, the asymptotic stability of those processes is analyzed when the access rate of the users decreases to 0. An appropriate scaling is introduced and used to prove that the stability region of those networks is asymptotically maximized.  相似文献
