 一、科学渊源与历史背景光是什么?是波,还是粒子?这个问题的争论由来已久,并一直萦绕在许多科学家的脑海里。虽然光学的起源可以追溯到远古时代,但是光学形成为一门独立的学科体系,还是在16、17世纪实验科学发展的推动下促成的。15世纪末~16世纪初,欧洲的玻璃制造业已相当发达,到16世纪末,眼镜的使用已很普遍,眼镜制造业已成为一个十分健全的工业。而望远镜和显微镜的发明,则是17世纪初光学仪器发展的最大成就。与之相适应,在这一时期,也就出现了以胡克(R.Hooke,1635~1703)描述显微观察的专著《显微学》为代表的光学著作。  相似文献

Neutron matter-wave optics provides the basis for new quantum experiments and a step towards applications of quantum phenomena. Most experiments have been performed with a perfect crystal neutron interferometer where widely separated coherent beams can be manipulated individually. Various geometric phases have been measured and their robustness against fluctuation effects has been proven, which may become a useful property for advanced quantum communication. Quantum contextuality for single particle systems shows that quantum correlations are to some extent more demanding than classical ones. In this case entanglement between external and internal degrees of freedom offers new insights into basic laws of quantum physics. Non-contextuality hidden variable theories can be rejected by arguments based on the Kochen-Specker theorem.  相似文献

A complex of lecture demonstrations on wave optics with a personal computer used for control, processing, and representation of the experimental data is described in the present paper. A modern photodetector system built around a photodiode strip is used for recording of the light intensity distribution. The results of application of this complex to the study of dual-beam and multibeam interference of light and of the Fresnel and Fraunhofer types of diffraction by different objects are presented. The developed complex of lecture demonstrations allows the students to refine their understanding of the basic physical phenomena in optics. It also allows the teacher not only to visualize the lecture experiment but also to make it quantitative.  相似文献

The new approach to the self-action theory of intensive localized pulses, based on the hydrodynamical analogy in the non-linear geometrical optics, is proposed. The complex of phenomena of amplitude-phase non-stationary evolution of the intensive localized electromagnetic wave pulses in the dispersive medium is analysed in the framework of such approach. The wide classes of exact analytical solutions of the non-linear self-action equations, connected with such pulses, are constructed. The simple form of these solutions, represented with the well-known eigen-functions of the Laplace equation in special variables, permits to divide the pulse non-linear deformation qualitatively different effects. These solutions predict the large-scale pulse self-stratification and the origin of the quick intensity increase area during the non-linear evolution of the initially smooth distribution of the wave. The characteristic points of such evolution are represented by the singularities in the exact solutions of the non-linear geometrical optics. All results, describing the dynamics of the non-linear amplitude-phase re-building of the pulse, are represented in the simple algebraic form.  相似文献

We simulate the performance of a gravitational wave interferometer in the Dual Recycling (DR) configuration, as will be used for systems like Advanced-LIGO. Our grid-based simulation program models complex interferometric detectors with realistic optical deformations (e.g., fine-scale mirror surface roughness). Broadband and Tuned DR are modeled here; the results are also applied qualitatively to Resonant Sideband Extraction (RSE). Several beneficial properties anticipated for DR detectors are investigated: signal response tuning and narrowbanding, power loss reduction, and the reclamation of lost power as useful light for signal detection. It is shown that these benefits would be limited by large scattering losses in large (multi-kilometer) systems. Furthermore, losses may be resonantly enhanced (particularly for RSE), if the interferometer's modal resonance conditions are not well chosen. We therefore make two principal recommendations for DR/RSE interferometers: the DR/RSE cavity must be modally nondegenerate; and fabricated mirror surfaces and coatings must be as smooth as is practically feasible.  相似文献

With the aid of symbolic computation Maple, the discrete Ablowitz-Ladik equation is studied via an algebra method, some new rational solutions with four arbitrary parameters are constructed. By analyzing related parameters, the discrete rogue wave solutions with alterable positions and amplitude for the focusing Ablowitz-Ladik equations are derived. Some properties are discussed by graphical analysis, which might be helpful for understanding physical phenomena in optics.  相似文献
