An improved spectral editing method for solids is described which allows one to obtain a set of subspectra in roughly two-thirds the amount of time as our original CPPI editing method for the same signal to noise. This improvement is afforded by a new pulse sequence that is used to acquire a (13)CH + (13)CH(2) spectrum which has very little (13)CH(3) or nonprotonated carbon contamination. By using this new sequence the (13)CH-only subspectrum is obtained much more efficiently. Criteria for optimizing the signal to noise in the edited subspectra are discussed. The angular distributions of the polarization of protons from C12(d,p)C13(g.s) reaction were measured at 200 keV intervals for deuteron energies from 1.40 to 2.40 MeV. Elastic scattering on C12 at 45 ° (lab) was used to analyze the polarization. Positive sign of the polarization corresponds to the vector productK d ×K p . The maximum polarization observed is about 30%. The results are not similar to those obtained from the mirror reaction C12(d,n)N13 in the same deuteron energy range.  相似文献

A sequence comprising two 13C pulses and two proton pulses is justified theoretically and experimentally as providing a new form of 13C-1H chemical shift correlation spectroscopy. The sequence is superior to polarization transfer sequences as it contains fewer pulses and distinguishes between carbon groups with different numbers of bonded protons.  相似文献

Two-dimensional pulse techniques for subspectral editing in 13C NMR spectroscopy are described. The experiments are compared with existing one-dimensional editing methods with respect to sensitivity, information content, and practical performance. In combination with a computer program for fully automatic extraction of one-dimensional edited subspectra and radiofrequency field strength information, the two-dimensional presented experiments are useful as setup experiments in 13C NMR.  相似文献

A modification of the DEFT pulse sequence is used for two applications in13C NMR spectroscopy. The first application suppresses solvent line resonances for dilute solutions. Unlike other techniques this method allows determination of solute T1 values with concurrent solvent suppression. Requirements for this application are not overly stringent. The required T1 ratio for effective peak suppression is ≿4; rf homogeneity must be moderately good. By contrast, the second application for this technique has very exacting requirements—in particular, very high rf homogeneity and accurate pulse timing. In this second application, the modified DEFT sequence is used to measure chemical exchange rates somewhat differently than in usual DNMR experiments. Results for amide bond rotation in N,N-dimethylacetamide are compared with literature values.  相似文献

In this publication, we introduce a version of the rotational resonance width experiment with a homogeneously broadened matching condition. The increase in the bandwidth is achieved by the reduction of the proton decoupling power during mixing, which results in the reduction of zero-quantum relaxation, and broadens the rotational resonance condition. We show that one can achieve recoupling of the carbonyl-aliphatic side chain dipolar interactions band selectively, while avoiding the recoupling of strongly interacting C'-Calpha and C'-Cbeta spin pairs. The attenuation of the multi-spin effects in the presence of short zero-quantum relaxation enables a two-spin approximation to be employed for the analysis of the experimental data. The systematic error introduced by this approximation is estimated by comparing the results with a three-spin simulation. The experiment is demonstrated in [U-(13)C,(15)N]N-acetyl-L-Val-L-Leu dipeptide, where 11 distances, ranging from 2.5 to 6 A, were measured.  相似文献

Sensitivity enhanced multiple-quantum 3D HCN-CCH-TOCSY and HCN-CCH-COSY experiments are presented for the ribose resonance assignment of (13)C/(15)N-labeled RNA sample. The experiments make use of the chemical shift dispersion of N1/N9 of pyrimidine/purine to distinguish the ribose spin systems. They provide a complementary approach for the assignment of ribose resonance to the currently used HCCH-COSY and HCCH-TOCSY type experiments in which either (13)C or (1)H is utilized to separate the different ribose spin systems. The pulse schemes have been demonstrated on a 23-mer (13)C/(15)N-labeled RNA aptamer complexed with neomycin and tested on a 32-mer RNA complexed with a 23-residue peptide.  相似文献

The design of a broadband 4-mm magic-angle spinning (MAS) X-(1)H/(19)F double resonance probe for cross-polarization (CP)/MAS NMR studies at 21.15 T ((1)H at 900 MHz) is described. The high-frequency (1)H/(19)F channel employs a new and efficient transmission line tuning design. The first (13)C CP/MAS NMR spectra recorded at 21.15 T have been obtained with this probe and exhibit the best S/N per milligram sample of hexamethylbenzene achieved so far for a 4-mm rotor.  相似文献

面对日益复杂的勘探对象, D-T2二维核磁共振技术在实际应用中面临无法兼顾扩散系数测量范围和横向弛豫分辨率的困境. 脉冲序列作为D-T2二维核磁共振数据采集的核心技术, 其性能优劣直接影响应用效果, 在综合对比PFG, STE-PFG, BP-PFG、改良式CPMG, 扩散编程, 多回波间隔CPMG脉冲序列性能的基础上, 有效融合脉冲梯度场、恒定梯度场D-T2脉冲序列的优点, 本文提出一种基于脉冲梯度场的双变量、两窗口D-T2脉冲序列改进设计. 针对两个窗口的D-T2二维核磁共振数据反演, 为突破现有反演方法无法兼顾反演精度和解谱效率的瓶颈, 本着第二个窗口回波信号为主、第一个窗口回波信号为辅的原则, 本文提出一种同时使用两个窗口数据参与解谱的联合TSVD反演方法. 气水、油水、稠油、油气水模型不同信噪比条件下的数值模拟结果表明, 本文提供的D-T2改进脉冲序列达到了平衡扩散系数测量范围和横向弛豫分辨率的设计要求, 本文提供的联合TSVD反演方法也有效平衡了反演精度要求和解谱效率. 文中的D-T2改进脉冲序列及联合TSVD反演方法在复杂油气藏流体识别和产能预测中具有广泛的应用前景, 可为促进国内D-T2二维核磁共振岩心分析技术的发展提供有利条件.  相似文献

In this study, we performed three breath tests - l-[1-(13)C ]phenylalanine breath test (PBT), l-[1-(13)C ] methionine breath test, and [(13)C]methacetin breath test (MethaBT) - in patients with chronic liver disease to determine the optimal timing of expired air collection for diagnosing chronic liver disease and evaluating the grade of fibrosis. The subjects were 61 adults with normal livers, 98 chronic hepatitis patients, and 91 liver cirrhosis patients. We investigated the relationships of breath test results with routine biochemical tests and the Child-Pugh score, as well as the diagnostic capacities of the breath tests for liver dysfunction/cirrhosis and grade of liver fibrosis. For the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis and correlations with liver fibrosis, the accuracy of the PBT at 30 min (PBT30) was similar to that of the MethaBT at 15 min (Metha15). For liver function assessment by two-point measurement with (13)C breath tests, we recommend the PBT30 and the Metha15.  相似文献

(13)C NMR is a powerful analytical tool for characterizing polyethylene copolymer composition and sequence distribution. Accurate characterization of the composition and sequence distribution is critical for researchers in industry and academia. Some common composite pulse decoupling (CPD) sequences used in polyethylene copolymer (13)C NMR can lead to artifacts such as modulations of the decoupled (13)C NMR signals (decoupling sidebands) resulting in systematic errors in quantitative analysis. A new CPD method was developed, which suppresses decoupling sidebands below the limit of detection (less than 1:40,000 compared to the intensity of the decoupled signal). This new CPD sequence consists of an improved Waltz-16 CPD, implemented as a bilevel method. Compared with other conventional CPD programs this new decoupling method produced the cleanest (13)C NMR spectra for polyethylene copolymer composition and triad sequence distribution analyses.  相似文献

The polarization of protons from the 12C(d, p)13C reaction has been measured for deuteron bombarding energies between 3.9 and 5.8 MeV. Angular distributions of the polarization for protons leaving 13C in its ground state have been measured for laboratory angles between 10° and 135° at several energies in the vicinity of a resonance at 4 MeV in order to determine the effect of that resonance on the polarization. Additional measurements were made at 0.4 MeV intervals throughout the energy range. These measurements demonstrate that the compound-nuclear resonances observed in the cross section do not significantly alter the polarization angular distributions except at back angles. The shape of the observed polarization angular distributions at all energies is quite similar to previous results obtained for deuteron bombarding energies up to 15 MeV.  相似文献

We report on the design and laboratory performance of a portable infrared absorption spectrometer for the measurement of the isotopic ratio 13C:12C in CO2. The design relies on optical feedback cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy in the 2 μm spectral region to achieve optimal performance at ambient CO2 concentrations. The prototype instrument measures δ13C, relative to a standard calibration bottle, with a precision of ±0.7‰ for a 20-s integration time and with an automatic recalibration every 6 min. The absolute accuracy obtained is 0.9‰. The principal performance limitations are discussed along with improvements currently being implemented for the second generation instrument. Tracking susceptibility effects is a convenient way to detect small inclusions in a bulk tissue matrix by MRI. We propose a quantitative assessment of these susceptibility effects by simultaneously mapping T(2)* and magnetic field from the time course of magnitude and phase using a multiple GE sequence at 4.7 T. A high-pass scheme is also introduced to highlight the mesoscopic magnetic field variations due to local susceptibility differences specifically in the magnetic field map. Applying this method to muscle tissue, we demonstrate that connective tissue generates detectable susceptibility effects through concomitant local magnetic field variation and T(2)* shortening.  相似文献

The DWIA calculation of the differential cross section for photoproduction of π+ from13C was carried out with the photon multipole expansion. It is shown that the Cohen-Kurath wave function can reproduce the data quite well. We also calculated the ratio of theM1 transition to theE2 transition to be 1.9. The transverse form factor for13C(e, é)13C* was evaluated consistently with the same wave function as used forl3C(γ, π+)13B.  相似文献

Spin relaxation is a sensitive probe of molecular structure and dynamics. Correlation of relaxation time constants, such as T(1) and T(2), conceptually similar to the conventional multidimensional spectroscopy, have been difficult to determine primarily due to the absense of an efficient multidimensional Laplace inversion program. We demonstrate the use of a novel computer algorithm for fast two-dimensional inverse Laplace transformation to obtain T(1)--T(2) correlation functions. The algorithm efficiently performs a least-squares fit on two-dimensional data with a nonnegativity constraint. We use a regularization method to find a balance between the residual fitting errors and the known noise amplitude, thus producing a result that is found to be stable in the presence of noise. This algorithm can be extended to include functional forms other than exponential kernels. We demonstrate the performance of the algorithm at different signal-to-noise ratios and with different T(1)--T(2) spectral characteristics using several brine-saturated rock samples.  相似文献

(13)C MRS studies at natural abundance and after intravenous 1-(13)C glucose infusion were performed on a 1.5-T clinical scanner in four subjects. Localization to the occipital cortex was achieved by a surface coil. In natural abundance spectra glucose C(3beta,5beta), myo-inositol, glutamate C(1,2,5), glutamine C(1,2,5), N-acetyl-aspartate C(1-4,C=O), creatine CH(2), CH(3), and C(C=N), taurine C(2,3), bicarbonate HCO(-)(3) were identified. After glucose infusion (13)C enrichment of glucose C(1alpha,1beta), glutamate C(1-4), glutamine C(1-4), aspartate C(2,3), N-acetyl-aspartate C(2,3), lactate C(3), alanine C(3), and HCO(-)(3) were observed. The observation of (13)C enrichment of resonances resonating at >150 ppm is an extension of previously published studies and will provide a more precise determination of metabolic rates and substrate decarboxylation in human brain.  相似文献

Continuous analysis of the (13)C/(12)C ratio of atmospheric CO(2) (delta(13)C-CO(2)) is a powerful tool to quantify CO(2) flux strengths of the two major ecosystem processes assimilation and respiration. Traditional laboratory techniques such as isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) in combination with flask sampling are subject to technical limitations that do not allow to fully characterising variations of atmospheric delta(13)C-CO(2) at all relevant timescales. In our study, we demonstrate the strength of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in combination with a PLS-based calibration strategy for online analysis of delta(13)C-CO(2) in ambient air. The ability of the instrument to measure delta(13)C-CO(2) was tested on a grassland field-site and compared with standard laboratory-based IRMS measurements made on field-collected flask samples. Both methods were in excellent agreement, with an average difference of 0.4 per thousand (n=81). Simultaneously, other important trace gases such as CO, N(2)O and CH(4) were analysed by FTIR spectroscopy.  相似文献
