1.引言 [1]定义了解线性方程组A_x=b的AOR迭代法,它以SOR迭代为特例,而且适当选取参数,有可能比SOR方法收敛快(见[2]).众所周知,使 AOR方法有意义的最基本条件是A的对角元素都不为零.然而,在实际计算中,有时需要求解的线性方程组其系数矩阵存在零对角元素.例如[3]中研究的线性方程组的系数矩阵具有如下形式:     

Extended convergence regions for the AOR method

In this paper, we give sufficient conditions for the convergence of the (AOR) method, when the matrix A for Ax = b is a strictly diagonally dominant matrix. These results improve the conclusions obtained in the Theorem 4 [10].With the notion of generalized diagonal dominant matrix, we enlarge the convergence regions given in Theorem 9 [10], when A is a nonsingular H-matrix.In the last section we generalize theorem 6 of Robert [11] and we present some results which extend the convergence regions for the (AOR) method.     

Interval Iterative Methods Under Partial Ordering (Ⅱ)

Many types of nonlinear systems can be solved by using ordered iterative methods. These systems are discussed in [2] in a unified form for five different initial conditions. This paper is a continuation of [2]. Under arbitrary initial conditions, some iterative methods are given, and several theorems for the existence and uniqueness of the solution and convergence of the methods are proved.

Summary We state three theorems concerning iterative methods for solving equations containing monotone, but not necessarily uniformly monotone operators in Hilbert space, which may be not Lipschitz bounded, thus extending results obtained by Sibony [9, 10]. We apply the method to a nonlinear elliptic Dirichlet problem of laminar flow theory of non Newtonian fluids, thus improving the rather experimental treatment given in Ames [1] and removing the condition of nonzero difference quotients assumed by Cryer [3].

Convergence of generalized AOR iterative method for linear systems with strictly diagonally dominant matrices

In this paper, some improvements on Darvishi and Hessari [On convergence of the generalized AOR method for linear systems with diagonally dominant coefficient matrices, Appl. Math. Comput. 176 (2006) 128–133] are presented for bounds of the spectral radius of _lω,r$l_{\omega ,r}$, which is the iterative matrix of the generalized AOR (GAOR) method. Subsequently, some new sufficient conditions for convergence of GAOR method will be given, which improve some results of Darvishi and Hessari [On convergence of the generalized AOR method for linear systems with diagonally dominant coefficient matrices, Appl. Math. Comput. 176 (2006) 128–133].     

AOR iterative methods for rank deficient least squares problems

In this paper we study the semiconvergence of accelerated overrelaxation (AOR) iterative methods for the least squares solution of minimal norm of rank deficient linear systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the semiconvergence of the AOR and JOR iterative methods are given. The optimum parameters and the associated convergence factor are derived.     

Some convergence theorems for mappings of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type in Banach spaces

The purpose of this paper is to study the necessary and sufficient conditions for the sequences of Ishikawa iterative sequences with mixed errors of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive type mappings in Banach spaces to converge to a fixed point in Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of [1–4, 7–9].

Summary The aim of this note is to present a synthesis of recent applications or extensions of the Stein-Rosenberg theorem on nonnegative matrices: convergence ofnon linear iterative process; truncated, or chaotic, or boolean Stein-Rosenberg theorems.The conclusion is the following: As it works through various mathematical contexts, the Stein-Rosenberg theorem expersses a rather deap idea of an essentially algorithmic nature.
