中国散裂中子源(china spallation Neutron source,CSNS)快循环同步加速器(Rapid cyclingSync,arotron,RCS)磁铁由24块二极磁铁、48块四极磁铁、16块六极磁铁和若干斜四极磁铁以及校正磁铁组成,其中二极磁铁和四极磁铁是带直流偏置的25Hz正弦交流励磁,铁芯和线圈导体将产生不可忽视的涡流效应.为了积累批量生产磁铁的制造经验,探索磁铁后期处理和磁场测量方法,已完成了中空水冷铝绞线试样线圈的研制,启动了二极磁铁和四极磁铁样机的研制.本文将对相关进展进行介绍.  相似文献

介绍了强流重离子加速器装置HIAF(High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility)项目增强器BRing(Booster Ring)快脉冲二极磁铁的性能指标、测量要求和测量方法,描述了快脉冲二极磁铁稳态磁场测量系统及动态磁场测量系统的构成。在稳态磁场测量中,为提高积分磁场测量精度和测量效率,长线圈测量系统采用了on fly技术;在动态磁场测量中,研制了用于磁场延迟及磁场畸变测量的矩阵线圈。通过样机磁铁的测量,完成了测量系统的性能指标验证和磁铁的稳态磁场测量。实测结果表明,样机磁铁的设计和制造均达到了预期指标,并依据测量数据完成了磁铁的二次削斜。  相似文献

在兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环工程(HIRFL–CSR)实验环的注入设计过程中,通过对束流在侧面边缘场作用下运动的反向数值跟踪,得到注入束流通过二极磁铁和四极透镜边缘场的传输矩阵,并同理想场对束流的作用进行了比较.通过改变注入束流中心轨道及对磁铁的重新设计,将磁铁边缘场对注入束流的影响减小到可以控制的范围.  相似文献

本文的作者用数学、物理的方法推导并用二个实例阐述了使用霍尔片在四极磁铁孔穴内旋转来测得在四个极头方向上场强的极值,从而来计算该磁铁的磁轴和机械轴之间的距离和相对方位。GSI自1971年直到目前都是用这种办法来检验该所的加速器系统中的每一个四极磁铁的制造质量。使用与计算机速接的霍尔片的测磁系统,对各种规格的四极磁铁,一般在20分钟内可以得到测量结果。  相似文献

 介绍了兰州重力加速器冷却储存环实验环二极磁铁积分长线圈测磁装置的构成,描述了实验环二极铁的分散性测量、横向分布测量、传递函数等测量内容及测量方法。实验环二极铁采用不断地加减硅钢铁片垫补和加调整线圈电流的方法来调整二极磁铁的有效长度来改变分散性。通过垫补和测量,二极磁铁的分散性在优化磁场时达到±2×10-4。同时给出了二极铁的横向分布和传递函数的测量结果。对二极铁的设计和加工进行了修正。  相似文献

基于自由电子激光(FEL)的太赫兹源具有高功率、高效率、波谱范围宽且连续可调、波束质量好等显著优点,目前是获得最高输出功率的方法。紧凑型太赫兹源使整体装置小型化,减少了装置成本和占用空间,但依然可以提供高功率、高品质的太赫兹波束,是一种便利可靠的用户装置。由于空间限制,FEL上的磁铁要尽可能地减小其尺寸,并仍能满足束流参数设计要求。本文设计的四极磁铁磁轭孔径与有效长度,其中2块是64 mm100 mm,另外3块是45 mm100 mm。这些四极磁铁的磁场梯度可以达到0.6~1.9 Tm-1。采用Poisson和Oprra-3D软件进行四极磁铁的二维和三维仿真计算,设计优化四极磁铁的结构,并测量了加工完成后的四极磁铁的磁场。  相似文献

中国散裂中子源(CSNS)加速器主要由一台直线加速器、一台快循环加速器以及低能、高能输运线组成。针对CSNS加速器部分直流磁铁研制了一套旋转线圈测量系统。对系统的研制方案、功能、精度、完成的磁铁类型以及部分测量结果进行介绍。该系统解决了CSNS批量磁铁之间的不同中心高度、质量、有效长度、磁场强度的兼容性难题。经过测试运行,积分场测量重复性误差好于±0.02%,空间谐波重复性误差好于0.005%,磁中心测量重复性误差好于±0.03 mm,顺利完成了中国散裂中子源工程150台多种类型磁铁的检测任务。  相似文献

The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) is a high intensity proton accelerator based facility. Its accelerator complex includes two main parts: an H- linac and a rapid cycling synchrotron (RCS). The RCS accumulates the 80 MeV proton beam and accelerates it to 1.6 GeV, with a repetition rate of 25 Hz. The AC dipole of the CSNS/RCS is operated at a 25 Hz sinusoidal alternating current which causes severe vibration. The vibration will influence the long-term safety and reliable operation of the magnet. The dipole magnet of CSNS/RCS is an active vibration equipment, which is different from the ground vibration accelerator. It is very important to design and study the dynamic characteristics of the dipole-girder system. This paper takes the AC dipole and girder as a specific model system. A method for studying the dynamic characteristics of the system is put forward by combining theoretical calculation with experimental testing. The ANSYS simulation method plays a very important role in the girder structure design stage. With this method, the mechanical resonance phenomenon was avoided in the girder design time. At the same time the dipole vibratory force will influence the other equipment through the girder. Since it is necessary to isolate and decrease the dipole vibration, a new isolator was designed to isolate the vibratory force and decrease the vibration amplitude of the magnet.  相似文献

The China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) accelerators consist of an H-linac and a proton Rapid Cycling Synchrotron (RCS). RCS is designed to accumulate and accelerate proton beam from 80 MeV to 1.6 GeV with a repetition rate of 25 Hz. The main dipole and quadruple magnet will operate in AC mode. Due to the adoption of the resonant power supplies, saturation errors of magnetic field cannot be compensated by power supplies. These saturation errors will disturb the linear optics parameters, such as tunes, beta function and dispersion function. The strong space charge effects will cause emittance growth. The compensation of these effects by using trim quadruples is studied, and the corresponding results are presented.  相似文献

The injecton pulsed bending bump magnets of Rapid Cycling Synchrotron (RCS) in China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) consist of four horizontal bending (BH) magnets and four vertical bending (BV) magnets. The BH magnets are operated at a repetition rate of 25 Hz and are excited with a trapezoid rectangle waveform with about 1.6 milliseconds duration. The eddy current is induced in BH magnets and in the end plates it is expected to be large, so the heat generation is of our great concern. In this paper, the eddy current loss of the BH magnet has been investigated and calculated by using a coupling method of 3D electromagnetic and thermal analysis. The accuracy of the analysis is confirmed by testing the prototype BH magnet. The end plate temperature of the BH magnet provided with slit cuts has been decreased obviously and met the requirements.  相似文献

In order to improve the performance of the Hefei Light Source (HLS), in particular to get higher brilliance synchrotron radiation and increase the number of straight section insertion devices, an upgrade project called HLSII will be launched soon. The storage ring lattice, which has a double bend achromatic structure with four periods, comprises eight dipoles, 32 quadrupoles and 32 combined function sextupoles. The design and analysis of the magnets are shown in this paper, along with the optimization of the multipurpose combined function magnet, which consists of three magnets: skew quadrupole, horizontal dipole and vertical dipole, with the main sextupole magnet. This type of magnet is the first one that has been designed and used in China. The mechanical design and fabrication procedures for the magnets are also presented.  相似文献

Details of the active ways to suppress Closed Orbit Distortion (COD), including bending magnet sorting and survey and alignment of the magnets, are discussed based on the studies of affections to the COD by the bending magnet field error and the misalignment of quadrupoles. The closed orbit correction and the Slow Orbit Feed Back (SOFB) system for the SSRF storage ring are presented in this paper. Electron cloud interaction with high energy positive beams are believed responsible for various undesirable effects such as vacuum degradation, collective beam instability and even beam loss in high power proton circular accelerators. An important uncertainty in predicting electron cloud instability lies in the detailed processes of the generation and accumulation of the electron cloud. The simulation on the build-up of electron cloud is necessary to further studies on beam instability caused by electron clouds. The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS) is an intense proton accelerator facility now being built, whose accelerator complex includes two main parts: an H-linac and a rapid cycling synchrotron(RCS). The RCS accumulates the 80 Me V proton beam and accelerates it to 1.6 Ge V with a repetition rate of 25 Hz. During beam injection with lower energy, the emerging electron cloud may cause serious instability and beam loss on the vacuum pipe. A simulation code has been developed to simulate the build-up,distribution and density of electron cloud in CSNS/RCS.  相似文献
