Correlation effects in the Cherenkov radiation due to ions charge fluctuations in the matter are considered. Stochastic process of charge exchange leads to the washout of a radiation wave front and to the transformation of spectral-angular density. The effect is determined by a root-mean-square deviation of an ion charge. The additional radiation yield gives the nonzero contribution at the violation of the Cherenkov threshold condition. The interference of an electromagnetic field generated in the matter by the different ion's charge states along the trajectory is the cause of the additional radiation.  相似文献

The efficiency enhancement methods for helix and coupled cavity traveling wave tube (TWT) in millimeter wave (MMW) are described. The interaction efficiency has been reached 14.56% by dynamic velocity taper in Ka-band TWT. Efficiency improvement has been carried out by used copper helix for broadband MMW TWT. Owing to a ferruleless coupled cavity TWT used phase-adjusted taper, the interaction efficiency has been increased from 9.6 to 22.6%. Finally, enhancing collector efficiency used multistage depressed collectors is discussed in the paper. These concept and technology of the approach are very useful for tube designer.  相似文献

We solve exactly the classical non-relativistic Landau-Lifshitz equations of motion for a charged particle moving in a Coulomb potential, including radiation damping. The general solution involves the Painlevè transcendent of type II. It confirms our physical intuition that a negatively charged classical particle will spiral into the nucleus, supporting the validity of the Landau-Lifshitz equation.  相似文献

Abnormal reflecting mirror (ARM) structures, consisting of a corrugated optical waveguiding structure, can serve as a wavelength-selective end mirror in a laser cavity. The ARM structure shows, for each wavelength in a certain region, 100% reflection at a certain angle of incidence. In the vicinity of this angle the waveguide is resonantly excited, leading to strong enhancement of the optical field in the layer structure, which is interesting for efficient second-harmonic generation (SHG). The process of coherent radiation by relativistic electrons, which move in the field of periodically deformed crystal planes of atoms, is considered in the high-frequency range of emitted photons. The new mechanism of formation of sharp jumps in the radiation spectrum at this frequency range, based on the structure of asymptotic forms of the function that is summing in the cross section, is predicted.  相似文献

A double-layer harmonic diffractive element (HDE) structure is investigated and the optimization procedure is given based on the equation of diffraction efficiency of the double-layer diffractive optical element. A new infrared double-layer inverted telephoto-optical system with an HDE is designed, which can work in the mid- and farinfrared wavebands. The diffraction efficiency of the system at each wavelength in the designed two wavebands is larger than 90%, which improves the image contrast and the imaging quality significantly.  相似文献

We present a new method to find the exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations, with the aid of the symbolic computation. Based on this method, we successfully solve the modified BenjaminBona-Mahoney equation, and obtain some new solutions which can be expressed by trigonometric functions and hyperbolic functions, It is shown that the proposed method is direct, effective and can be used for many other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

The main objective of the paper is to make an efficient design of the input and output coaxial coupler for a helix TWTs. An approach has been developed for the efficient design and analysis of the coaxial couplers in the practical situation. Normally multi-section impedance transformer approach is used for any wide band coupler. For a space helix TWT, coupler should be wide bandwidth and small size. In this case coupler is matched with helix slow wave structure and the standard 50-ohm connectors. The simulated return loss (dB) profile for different type of couplers is obtained by using Ansoft HFSS, CST microwave studio and compares those with experimental results. The tip loss design at sever ends for the input and the output section has been also optimized.  相似文献

The pill-box and block RF windows for millimeter wave (MMW) tubes are presented. The pill-box window is suitable for broadband MMW tubes. And the block window can be used for high power tubes in short MMW. The equivalent circuits for two windows are given. To reach better match characteristics in wider operating bandwidth, the optimum design methods for pill-box and block window in MMW tubes are described in this paper. The testing results show that the theoretic computation is fast and useful accuracy. The design methods possess references value to designer for MMW tubes.  相似文献

Two-dimensional photonic crystal slab waveguides on SOI wafer are designed and fabricated. Photonic band gap, band gap guided mode, and index guided mode are observed by measuring the transmission spectra. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical ones.  相似文献

Detailed theoretical investigation and computer calculations on the Cherenkov radiation (CR) in moving Hermitian medium (CRMH) are presented in this paper. It has been found that, similar to that in stationary Hermitian medium (CRH) case, there are two modes in the CRMH; in general, only one of them is radiative mode, another one is local field, and the comparison of the two modes is given in the paper. The small absorption of CRMH mainly results in the Gaussian-like field intensity pattern. And the group velocity in the CRMH is always slower than the phase velocity in the moving HM, so the fine inner structure occurs. Comparing the behaviors of CRMH and CRH, we have found that the movement of the Hermitian medium (HM) brings significant influences on the CR, so there are some interesting characteristics of CRMH, such as in the CRMH; the radiation power of the “o” mode is much higher than that of “e” mode. And because of the relativistic Doppler effect, the frequency region where both modes are radiative becomes quite different from that for CRH.  相似文献

遗传算法不受问题性质 ( 如连续性,可微性) 的限制,能够处理传统优化算法难以解决的复杂问题,故近年来在控制参数优化方面得到了广泛的应用;但算法中,交叉概率与变异概率的选择没有给出通用标准,通过多种交叉概率与变异概率组合的优化结果比较确定合适的交叉概率与变异概率,然后从几种控制系统常用性能指标中选择最合适的一种做为适应度函数,优化得无故障时控制参数,按照重构后系统开环传递函数保持不变,即系统闭环传函极点不发生变化的原则,由升降舵损伤程度和无损伤时控制参数可得重构后的控制参数;由仿真实验可得,此方法能够较快较精确地确定控制参数,系统无超调,控制效果良好,重构后,系统性能能够保持不变,达到良好的重构效果。  相似文献

以行波放大器速率方程为基础,采用传输矩阵方法,对行波放大器的增益饱和特性进行了理论研究,讨论了增益饱和特性对电流注入水平,腔面反射率的依赖关系,以及俄歇复合过程在行波放大器增益放大的作用,虽然俄歇复合过程可能提高饱和光强,但它会降低量子效率及非饱和增益,对器件的实际工作特性没有益处。  相似文献

The problem of the motion of high-energy wave packets combined of free electromagnetic waves is considered. It is demonstrated that the transformation of such packets to the packet of spherically diverging waves happens on long distances along the packet's motion direction, that substantially exceed the radiated wavelength. The transition radiation by the “half-bare” ultrarelativistic electron is considered. It is demonstrated that the transition radiation by such an electron on the targets located inside and outside the coherence length of the radiation process would be substantially different.  相似文献

We present a novel helix slow wave structure with an elliptical cross section shielded by an elliptical waveguide. The rf characteristics including dispersion properties, interaction impedance of zero mode in this structure have been studied in detail. The theoretical results reveal that weaker dispersion even abnormal dispersion characteristics is obtained with the increasing eccentricity of the elliptical waveguide, while the interaction impedance is enhanced by enlarging the eccentricity of elliptical helix.  相似文献

The engineering design method of heliz-waveguide and rectangular coupled cavitiy-waveguide energy coupler employed in millimeter wave tubes is described. Experiments show that, the former has broadband matching character )VSWR is less than 2 at 26 - 40GHz). And the later has small reflection (VSWR is less than 1.5 at 34-37.5 GHz). Optimum design method of multi-section and linear taper waveguide impedance transformer is also given in this paper. These impedance transformers can operate at wide frequency range in microwave and millimeter wave band. The design method and examples of couplers and impedance transformers can be referred for tube designers.  相似文献

We find that the electron phase with respect to the incident laser radiation must be random in the first freeelectron laser (FEL) and, hence, the incident laser radiation works as a relaxation force to keep a Maxwellian distribution. We formulate the threshold laser intensity for amplification which agrees with the measured value in the order of magnitude in the first FEL. The magnetic wiggler must produce an electric wiggler whose period is the same as that of the magnetic wiggler. We find that net stimulated free-electron two-quantum Stark (FETQS) emission driven by this electric wiggler is the mechanism responsible for the measured gain and the measured laser intensity at the plateau in the first FEL.  相似文献
