Preparation and Vibrational Spectra of Nonahalogenodirhodates(III), [Rh2ClnBr9-n]3?, n = 0–9 The pure nonahalogenodirhodates(III), A3[Rh2ClnBr9-n], A = K, Cs, (TBA); n = 0–4, 9, have been prepared. They are formed from the monomer chlorobromorhodates(III), [RhClnBr6-n]3?, n = 0–6, which are bridged to confacial bioctahedral complexes by ligand abstraction in less polar organic solvents. From the mixtures the complexions are separated by ion exchange chromatography on DEAE-cellulose. The solid, air-stable, air-stable, K-, Cs- and (TBA)-salts of [Rh2ClnBr9-n]3?, n = 0–4, are green, of [Rh2Cl9]3? are brown. The IR and Raman spectra of [Rh2Br9]3? and [Rh2Cl9]3? are assigned according to the point group D3h. The chlorobromodirhodates exist as mixtures of geometrical and structural isomers, which belong to different point groups. The vibrational spectra exhibit bands in characteristic regions; at high wavenumbers stretching vibrations with terminal ligands v(Rh—Clt): 360–320, v(Rh—Brt): 280–250; in a middle region with bridging ligands v(Rh—Clb): 300–270, v(Rh—Brb): 210–170 cm?1; the deformation bands are observed at distinct lower frequencies. The terminal ligands are fixed very strong, and the distance between v(Rh—Xt) and v(Rh—Xb) increases with decreasing size of the cations.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Nitrido Complexes [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(L)Cl4Re≡N}2PtCl2] (L = THF und H2O) and [(n‐Bu)4N]2[(H2O)Cl4Re≡N‐PtCl(μ‐Cl)]2 The threenuclear complex [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2—PtCl2] ( 1a ) is obtained by the reaction of [(n‐Bu)4N][ReNCl4] with [PtCl2(C6H5CN)2] in THF/CH2Cl2. It forms red crystals with the composition 1a · 2 CH2Cl2 crystallizing in the tetragonal space group I41/a with a = 3186.7(2); c = 1311.2(1) pm and Z = 8. If the reaction of the educts is carried out without THF, however under exposure to air the compound [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(H2O)Cl4Re≡N}2PtCl2] ( 1b ) is obtained as red trigonal crystals with the space group R3 and a = 3628.3(3), c = 1231.4(1) pm and Z = 9. In the centrosymmetric complex anions [{(L)Cl4Re≡N}2PtCl2]2— a linear PtCl2moiety is connected in a trans arrangement with two complex fragments [(L)Cl4Re≡N] via asymmetric nitrido bridges Re≡dqN‐Pt. For PtII such results a square‐planar coordination PtCl2N2. The linear nitrido bridges are characterized by distances Re‐N = 169.5 pm and Pt‐N = 188.8 pm ( 1a ), respectively, Re‐N = 165.6 pm and Pt‐N = 194.1 pm ( 1b ). By the reaction of [(n‐Bu)4N][ReNCl4] with PtCl4 in CH2Cl2 platinum is reduced forming the heterometallic ReVI/PtII complex, [(n‐Bu)4N]2[(H2O)Cl4Re≡N‐PtCl(μ‐Cl)]2 ( 2 ). It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2012.9(1); b = 1109.0(2); c = 2687.4(4) pm; β = 111.65(1)° and Z = 4. In the central unit ClPt(μ‐Cl)2PtCl of the anionic complex [(H2O)Cl4Re≡N‐PtCl(μ‐Cl)]22— with the symmetry C2 the coordination of the Pt atoms is completed by two nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pt to nitrido complex fragments [(H2O)Cl4Re≡N] forming a square‐planar arrangement for the Pt atoms. The distances in the linear nitrido bridges are Re‐N = 165.9 pm and Pt‐N = 190.1 pm.  相似文献

Technetium dimers Tc2(O2CCH3)4X2 (X =?Cl, Br) were synthesized and studied by X-ray Absorption Fine Structure spectroscopy (XAFS). EXAFS analysis gave for Tc2(O2CCH3)4Cl2: d Tc-Tc =?2.18(1) Å, d Tc–Cl =?2.43(1) Å and for Tc2(O2CCH3)4Br2: d Tc–Tc =?2.19(1) Å, d Tc-Br =?2.63(1) Å. The Tc Tc separations are in agreement with Raman studies while the Tc–X distances are somewhat larger. Comparison with other Tc(III) quadruply bonded dimers indicates that the carboxylate compounds exhibit larger Tc–Tc separations. The effect of the terminal ligand (nature and position) on the Tc–Tc separation is discussed.  相似文献

Preparation of Halogeno Pyridine Rhenates(III), [ReX6?n(Py)n](3?n)? (X = Br, Cl; n = 1?3) Crystal Structures of trans-[(C4H9)4N][ReBr4(Py)2], mer-[ReCl3(Py)3], and mer- [ReBr3(Py)3] The mixed halogeno-pyridine-rhenates(III), [ReX6?n(Py)n](3?n)? (X = Br, Cl), n = 1?3, have been prepared for the first time by reaction of the tetrabutylammoniumsalts (TBA)2[ReX6] (X = Br, Cl) in pyridine with (TBA)BH4 and separation by chromatography on Al2O3. Apart from the monopyridine complexes only the trans and mer isomers are formed from the bis-and tris-pyridine compounds. The X-ray structure determinations of the isotypic neutral complexes mer- [ReX3(Py)3] (monoclinic, space group P 21/n, Z = 4; for X = Cl: a = 9,1120(8), b = 12,5156(14), c = 15,6100(13) Å, β = 91,385(7)°; for X = Br: a = 9,152(5), b = 12,852(13), c = 15,669(2) Å, β = 90,43(2)°) reveal, due to the stronger trans influence of pyridine compared with Cl and Br, that the Re? X distances in asymmetric Py? Re? X3 axes with ReCl3 = 2,397 Å and ReBr3 = 2,534 Å are elongated by 1,3 and 1% in comparison with symmetric X1? Re? X2 axes with ReCl1 = ReCl2 = 2,367 Å and ReBr1 = 2,513 and ReBr2 = 2,506 Å, respectively. The Re? N bond lengths are roughly equal with 2,12 Å. Trans-(TBA)[ReBr4(Py)2] crystallizes triclinic, space group P1 , a = 9,2048(12), b = 12,0792(11), c = 15,525(2) Å, α = 95,239(10), β = 94,193(11), γ = 106,153(9)°, Z = 2. The unit cell contains two independent but very similar complex anions with approximate D2h(mmm) point symmetry.  相似文献

Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Vibrational Spectra, and Normal Coordinate Analysis of [PtX2ox]2−, X = Cl, Br By treatment of [PtX4]2— (X = Cl, Br) with C2O42— (ox2—) in water [PtCl2ox]2— and [PtBr2ox]2— are formed which have been isolated by ion exchange chromatography on diethylaminoethyl cellulose. The crystal structures of [(C5H5N)2CH2][PtCl2ox]·2H2O ( 1 ) (orthorhombic, space group Pbca, a = 18.451(1), b = 18.256(1), c = 19.913(1)Å, Z = 16) and [(C5H5N)2CH2][PtBr2ox] ( 2 ) (monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 7.249(1), b = 10.180(1), c = 21.376(1)Å, β = 93.415(9)°, Z = 4) reveal nearly planar complex anions with C2v point symmetry. The bond lengths are Pt‐Cl = 2.286, Pt‐Br = 2.405 und Pt‐O = 2.016 ( 1 ) und 2.030Å ( 2 ). In the vibrational spectra the PtX stretching vibrations are observed at 335 and 336 ( 1 ) and 219 and 231 cm—1 ( 2 ). The PtO stretching vibrations are coupled with internal modes of the oxalato ligands and appear in the range of 350 — 800 cm—1. Using the molecular parameters of the X‐Ray determinations the IR and Raman spectra of the (n‐Bu4N) salts are assigned by normal coordinate analysis. The valence force constants are fd(PtCl) = 1.97, fd(PtBr) = 1.78 and fd(PtO) = 2.48 ( 1 ) and 2.38 mdyn/Å ( 2 ). Taking into account increments of the trans influence a good agreement between observed and calculated frequencies is achieved. The NMR shifts are δ(195Pt) = 3603.9 ( 1 ) and 3318.1 ppm ( 2 ).  相似文献

Iron(III) and cobalt(III) complexes of types [Fe(LEt)2]ClO4·3/2C6H6 (1) and [Co(LEt)2]ClO4·2CH2Cl2 (2) with a new pyrimidine-derived thiosemicarbazone ligand, 2-S-methyl-6-methyl-4-formylpyrimidine-N(4)-ethylt-hiosemicarbazone (HLEt), having N, N, S donor centers have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structural study shows distorted octahedral geometry for both 1 and 2 with MN4S2 chromophores. The space group of 1 is C2/c (monoclinic) and that of 2 is P212121 (orthorhombic). The electrochemical electron transfer study in MeCN solutions shows a one-electron reductive response presumably due to a metal(III)–metal(II) couple.  相似文献

Preparation and spectroscopic characterization of the decahalogenodirhenates(IV), [Re2X10]2?, X = Cl, Br On heating of [ReX6]2? with trifluoroacetic acid/trifluoroacetic anhydride (1 : 1), the edge-sharing bioctahedral anions [Re2X10]2?, X = Cl, Br are formed, which IR and Raman spectra are assigned according to point group D2h. The bands are found in three characteristic regions; at high wavenumbers stretching vibrations with terminal ligands v(ReClt): 367–321, v(ReBrt): 242–195; in an intermediate region with bridging ligands v(ReClb): 278–250, v(ReBrb): 201–167 cm?1, and at distinct lower frequencies the deformation modes. The absorption spectra of the dirhenates are distinguished in the region 600–1400 nm by eight intraconfigurational transitions with a slight bathochromic shift and higher intensities in comparison to the monomeric complexes. Due to a stronger bonding of the terminal ligands the energy of the charge transfer bands is lowered by about 4 000 cm?1, too. The magnetic moments are 3.32 and 3.81 B.M./ReIV for [Re2Cl10]2? and [Re2Br10]2?, respectively.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Complexes [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2], [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 and [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] The threenuclear complex [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2 PdCl2] ( 1 ) is obtained in THF by the reaction of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 with [(n‐Bu)4N][ReNCl4] in the molar ration 1:2. It forms orange crystals with the composition 1· THF crystallizing in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2973.3(2); b = 1486.63(7); c = 1662.67(8)pm; β = 120.036(5)° and Z = 4. If the reaction is carried out with PdCl2 instead of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2, orange crystals of hitherto unknown [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] ( 3 ) are obtained besides some crystals of 1· THF. 3 crystallizes with the space group P1¯ and a = 1141.50(8), b = 1401.2(1), c = 1665.9(1)pm, α = 67.529(8)°, β = 81.960(9)°, γ = 66.813(8)° and Z = 2. In the centrosymmetric complex anion [{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2]2— a linear PdCl2 moiety is connected in trans arrangement with two complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] via asymmetric nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd. For Pd(II) thereby results a square‐planar coordination PdCl2N2. The linear nitrido bridges are characterized by distances Re‐N = 163.8(7)pm and Pd‐N = 194.1(7)pm. The crystal structure of 3 contains two symmetry independent, planar complexes [Pd3Cl8]2— with the symmetry 1¯, in which the Pd atoms are connected by slightly asymmetric chloro bridges. By the reaction of equimolar amounts of [Ph4P][ReNCl4] and PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 in THF brown crystals of the heterometallic complex, [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 ( 2 ) result. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 979.55(9); b = 2221.5(1); c = 1523.1(2)pm; β = 100.33(1)° and Z = 2. The distances in the linear nitrido bridges are Re‐N = 163.8(9)pm and Pd‐N = 191.5(9)pm.  相似文献

MoCl4, ReCl4, and ReCl5 react with PCl5 in sealed glass ampoules at temperatures between 220° and 320° to [PCl4]2[Mo2Cl10] ( 1 ) [PCl4]2[Re2Cl10] ( 2 ), and [PCl4]3[ReCl6]2 ( 3 ). 2 crystallizes isotypically to the previously reported 1 and the respective titanium and tin containing analogues. The structure (triclinic, P1, Z = 1, a = 897.3(2), b = 946.0(2), c = 687.13(9) pm, α = 95.59(2)°, β = 95.80(2)°, γ = 101.07(2)°, V = 565.4(2) 106 pm3) is built of tetrahedral [PCl4]+ and edge sharing double octahedral [Re2Cl10]2– ions and can be derived from a hexagonal closest packing of Cl ions with tetrahedral and octahedral holes partially filled by P(V) and Re(IV), respectively. 3 crystallizes isotypically to [PCl4]3[PCl6][MCl6] (M = Ti, Sn) (tetragonal, P 42/mbc, Z = 4, a = 1496.2(1), c = 1363.2(2) pm). Because no evidence was found for the presence of [PCl6] ions, Re in 3 has to be of mixed valency with ReIV and ReV sharing the same crystallographic site. The structure can be derived from a cubic closest packing or alternatively from an only sparsely distorted body centered cubic arrangement of Cl ions which is rarely found for anion arrays. The tetrahedral and octahedral holes are partially filled by PV and MIV/V, respectively. Magnetic measurements show all three compounds to be paramagnetic and confirm the oxidation state IV for Mo and Re in 1 and 2 and the mixed valence (IV/V) for Re in 3 .  相似文献

The complex cis‐[RuCl(DMSO)(phen)2]BPh4, where DMSO is dimethylsulfoxide and phen is 1, 10‐phenanthroline, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 19.505(4), b = 10.045(2), c = 21.199(4) Å, β = 90.137(4)°, V = 4153(2) Å3, Z = 4, Dcalc = 1.430 g cm—3. The ruthenium coordination geometry is that of a slightly distorted octahedron with a cis‐RuN4ClS arrangement of the ligand donor atoms. The Ru—Cl distance is 2.421(1) Å and the Ru—S distance 2.250(2) Å. The four Ru—N distances are 2.057(6), 2.066(4), 2.073(4), and 2.086(4) Å with the Ru—N bond trans to Cl the second shortest and the Ru—N bond trans to S the longest one.  相似文献

Four new mononuclear complexes, [Ni(L1)(NCS)2] (1), [Ni(L2)(NCS)2] (2), [Co(L1)(N3)2]ClO4 (3), and [Co(L2)(N3)2]ClO4 (4), where L1 and L2 are N,N′-bis[(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]butane-1,4-diamine and N,N′-bis[(pyridin-2-yl)benzylidene]butane-1,4-diamine, respectively, have been prepared. The syntheses have been achieved by reaction of the respective metal perchlorate with the tetradentate Schiff bases, L1 and L2, in presence of thiocyanate (for 1 and 2) or azide (for 3 and 4). The complexes have been characterized by microanalytical, spectroscopic, single crystal X-ray diffraction and other physicochemical studies. Structural studies reveal that 14 are distorted octahedral geometries. The antibacterial activity of all the complexes and their constituent Schiff bases have been tested against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

The synthesis, X-ray structure and properties of a pentanuclear cobalt(III) coordination cluster [{L(O2CCH3)Co2O(OCH3)2}2Co](ClO4)3 (1) (L? = 2,6-bis((3-aminopropylimino)methyl)-4-methylphenolate) are described. The dinucleating L? is coordinated with two cobalt(III) centers to form the {L(O2CCH3)Co2O(OCH3)2} unit, where each metal center is in a distorted octahedral N2O4 environment. The oxo and the methoxo ligands of these two dinuclear units assemble a distorted octahedral O6 coordination sphere around the central cobalt(III). Elemental analysis and spectroscopic (IR, NMR, UV–vis, and HRMS) features are consistent with the pentanuclear structure of the complex. The diamagnetic complex is a 1?:?3 electrolyte in solution. It is redox-active and displays a metal-centered reduction at E1/2 = ?0.04 V (vs. Ag/AgCl).  相似文献

Preparation, Crystal Structures, Vibrational Spectra, and Normal Coordinate Analysis of trans-(PNP)[TcCl4(Py)2] and trans-(PNP)[TcBr4(Py)2] By reaction of (PNP)2[TcX6] with pyridine in the presence of [BH4]? (PNP)[TcX4(Py)2], X = Cl, Br, are formed. X-ray structure determinations on single crystals of these isotypic TcIII complexes (monoclinic, space group P21/n, Z = 2, for X = Cl: a = 13.676(4), b = 9.102(3), c = 17.144(2) Å, β = 91.159(1)°; for X = Br: a = 13.972(2), b = 9.146(3), c = 17.285(4) Å, β = 90.789(2)°) result in the averaged bond distances Tc? Cl: 2.386, Tc? Br: 2.519, Tc? N: 2.132(3) (X = Cl) and 2.143(4) Å (X = Br). The two pyridine rings are coplanar and vertical to the X? Tc? X-axes, forming angles of 42.28° (X = Cl) and 43.11° (X = Br). Using the molecular parameters of the X-ray structure determination and assuming D2h point symmetry, the IR and Raman spectra are assigned by normal coordinate analysis based on a modified valence force field. Good agreement between observed and calculated frequencies is obtained with the valence force constants fd(TcCl) = 1.45, fd(TcBr) = 1.035, fd(TcN) = 1.37 (X = Cl) and 1.45 mdyn/ Å (X = Br), respectively.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, magnetic, and photophysical properties of two dinuclear, luminescent, mixed-ligand [CrIII2L(O2CR)]3+ complexes (R=CH3 ( 1 ), Ph ( 2 )) of a 24-membered binucleating hexa-aza-dithiophenolate macrocycle (L)2− are presented. X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals an edge-sharing bioctahedral N3Cr(μ-SR)2(μ1,3-O2CR)CrN3 core structure with μ1,3-bridging carboxylate groups. A ferromagnetic superexchange interaction between the electron spins of the Cr3+ ions leads to a high-spin (S=3) ground state. The coupling constants (J=+24.2(1) cm−1 ( 1 ), +34.8(4) cm−1 ( 2 ), H=−2JS1S2) are significantly larger than in related bis-μ-alkoxido-μ-carboxylato structures. DFT calculations performed on both complexes reproduce both the sign and strength of the exchange interactions found experimentally. Frozen methanol-dichloromethane 1 : 1 solutions of 1 and 2 luminesce at 750 nm when excited into the 4LMCT state on the 4A22T12) bands (λexc=405 nm). The absolute quantum yields (ΦL) for 1 and 2 were found to be strongly temperature dependent. At 77 K in frozen MeOH/CH2Cl2 glasses, ΦL=0.44±0.02 (for 1 ), ΦL=0.45±0.02 (for 2 ).  相似文献

The silver(I) complex of a 15-membered macrocyclic ligand with an N3S2 donor set (L1) has been prepared by the reaction of 2,6-diacetylpyridine with 1,8-diamino-3,6-dithiaoctane in the presence of silver(I) ions. A reduced form (L2) of the ligand, in which the imine groups are converted to amines, was prepared by the reduction of the silver(I) complex by sodium borohydride. The ligand L2 has been characterised by various spectroscopic techniques and the copper(II) complex has been prepared. The metal complexes of L1 and L2 have been characterised by electrospray mass spectrometry and UV-visible spectroscopy. The copper(II) complex of L1 has been synthesised from [AgL1]+ via metal exchange. [CuL1](ClO4)2 crystallises in the orthorhombic space group Pna21 with a = 14.374(5) Å, b = 12.947(3) Å, c = 11.824(3) Å with Z= 4. The geometry about the metal centre approximates trigonal bipyramidal with the pyridinyl nitrogen and the sulfur donors in the equatorial positions and the imine nitrogen donors in the axial positions. Metal ion exchange and the relative stabilities of metal complexes of the macrocyclic ligands were studied by electrospray mass spectrometry.  相似文献
