For a relativistic Birkhoffian system, the Lie symmetry and Hojman conserved quantity are given under infinitesimal transformations. On the basis of the invariance of relativistic Birkhoffian equations under infinitesimal transformations, Lie symmetrical transformations of the system are constructed, which only depend on the Birkhoffian variables. The determining equations of Lie symmetry are given, and a Hojman conserved quantity is directly obtained from Lie symmetry of the system. This paper focuses on studying the relation between a velocity-dependent symmetry and a generalized Lutzky conserved quantity for a holonomic system with remainder coordinates subjected to unilateral constraints. The differential equations of motion of the system are established, and the definition of Lie symmetry for the system is given.The conditions under which a Lie symmetry can directly lead up to a generalized Lutzky conserved quantity and the form of the new conserved quantity are obtained, and an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.  相似文献

The perturbation of symmetries and adiabatic invariants for mechanical systems with unilateral holonomic constraints are studied. The exact invariant in the form of Hojman led by special Lie symmetries for an undisturbed system with unilateral constraints is given. Based on the concept of high-order adiabatic invariant of mechanical systems, the perturbation of Lie symmetries for the system under the action of small disturbance is investigated, and a new adiabatic invariant for the system with unilateral holonomic constraints is obtained, which can be called Hojman adiabatic invariant. In the end of the paper, an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the Mei symmetry which can result in a Lutzky conserved quantity for nonholonomic mechanical system with unilateral constraints. The definition and the criterion of the Mei symmetry for the system are given. The necessary and sufficient condition under which the Mei symmetry is a Lie symmetry for the system is obtained. A Lutzky conserved quantity deduced from the Mei symmetry is gotten. An example is given to illustrate the application of our results.  相似文献

A geometrical approach to the Hojman theorem of a rotational relativistic Birkhoffian system is presented.The differential equations of motion of the system are established. According to the invariance of differential equations under infinitesimal transformation, the determining equations of Lie symmetry are constructed. A new conservation law of the system, called Hojman theorem, is obtained, which is the generalization of previous results given sequentially by Hojman, Zhang, and Luo et al. For a Birkhoffing system in the event space, a general approach to the construction of conservation laws is presented. The conservation laws are constructed by finding corresponding integrating factors for the parametric equations of the system. First, the parametric equations of the Birkhoffian system in the event space are established, and the definition of integrating factors for the system is given; second the necessary conditions for the existence of conservation laws are studied in detail, and the relation between the conservation laws and the integrating factors of the system is obtained and the generalized Killing equations for the determination of the integrating factors are given; finally, the conservation theorem and its inverse for the system are established, and an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.  相似文献

In this paper, it is shown that infinitesimal symmetry transformations of Birkhoffian systems have a characteristic functional structure, which is formulated by means of an auxiliary symmetry transformation function Z_μ(t,a) (introduced by the relation ξ_μ(t,a)=Z_μ(t,a)+\dot{a}^μξ_0 (t, a)) and is manifestly dependent upon the constants of motion of the system.
