We prove the following theorem. Assume fL (R 2) with bounded support. If f is continuous at some point (x 1,x 2) ∈ R 2, then the double Fourier integral of f is strongly q-Cesàro summable at (x 1,x 2) to the function value f(x 1,x 2) for every 0 < q < ∞. Furthermore, if f is continuous on some open subset of R 2, then the strong q-Cesàro summability of the double Fourier integral of f is locally uniform on . For a sequence of integrable random variables, we introduce a new set of conditions called Cesàro -Integrability and Strong Cesàro -Integrability and show that, for <1/2, these conditions that are strictly weaker than Cesàro Uniform Integrability and Strong Cesàro Uniform Integrability respectively, are sufficient for WLLN and SLLN to hold for a sequence of pairwise independent random variables. For some special kinds of dependent sequences of random variables also, Cesàro -integrability for appropriate is shown to be sufficient for WLLN to hold.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a complete spectral research of generalized Cesàro operators on Sobolev–Lebesgue sequence spaces. The main idea is to subordinate such operators to suitable C0-semigroups on these sequence spaces. We introduce that family of sequence spaces using the fractional finite differences and we prove some structural properties similar to classical Lebesgue sequence spaces. In order to show the main results about fractional finite differences, we state equalities involving sums of quotients of Euler's Gamma functions. Finally, we display some graphical representations of the spectra of generalized Cesàro operators.  相似文献

In the paper conditions are studied which ensure the equivalence of two given summability methods on the class of numerical series satisfying these conditions. One of these methods is the regular Cesàro method (C,w), which replaces the role of the convergence (C,0) the latter occurring in the classical Tauberian theorems. The other summability method considered is either the summability method (Rd,) by discrete Riesz means or the Cesàro method with (Rd,) with > w. Let g:= glm|n be a general linear Lie superalgebra over an algebraically closed field k:= \({\bar F_p}\) of characteristic p > 2. A module of g is said to be of Kac–Weisfeiler type if its dimension coincides with the dimensional lower bound in the super Kac–Weisfeiler property presented by Wang–Zhao in [9].
