Convenient synthesis of [3]catenane by olefin metathesis dimerizations

[3]Catenane 5a and 5b were synthesized conveniently by olefin metathesis dimerization of pseudorotaxanes 3a and 3b. The yields of 5a and 5b were influenced by concentrations of 3a and 3b, and a ring size of a center wheel of [3]catenane.     

Synthesis and self-assembly of novel calix[4]arenocrowns: formation of calix[4]areno[2]catenanes

A series of novel calix[4]arenocrowns 1a-c were efficiently synthesized by a one-pot reaction of calix[4]monohydroquinone diacetate 5 with ditosylate 6 and its analogues in the presence of sodium hydroxide. It was found that the calix[4]arenocrowns could form stable pseudorotaxane-type complexes 2a-c with paraquat, and further self-assemble into calix[4]areno[2]catenanes 3a-c with dicationic salt 8 and p-bis(bromomethyl)benzene.     

One-pot synthesis of oxygen and nitrogen-bridged calix[2]arene[2]triazines

A simple and powerful one-pot reaction method was developed for the synthesis of heteracalixaromatics. In the presence of a base, one-pot macrocyclic condensation reaction between cyanuric chloride and 1,3-phenylene diols and diamines proceeded effectively under very mild conditions to afford a number of functionalised oxygen and nitrogen-bridged calix[2]arene[2]triazines in 33–54% yields. The method was applied in a multigram-scale (14.4 g) preparation of tetraoxacalix[2]arene[2]triazine.     

Axle length- and solvent-controlled construction of (pseudo)[1]rotaxanes from mono-thiourea-functionalised pillar[5]arene derivatives

A series of thiourea-functionalised pillar[5]arene derivatives 3ⁿm were constructed from a series of mono-amide-functionalised pillar[5]arenes 2ⁿ. The formation of their free forms or (pseudo)[1]rotaxane structures were controlled by their axle lengths or solvents, which were investigated by ¹H NMR spectroscopy. Some of (pseudo)[1]rotaxane structures were also supported by their single-crystal structures.     

含1,2,3-三氮唑基团的新型四氧杂杯[2]芳烃[2]嘧啶衍生物的合成与抗肿瘤活性研究

以4-氯-2-甲硫基-6-丙炔氧基嘧啶为原料,依次经Williamson醚合成、氧化和聚合反应制得新型四氧杂杯[2]芳烃[2]嘧啶母体(4),并通过点击化学反应合成了4个结构新颖的含1,2,3-三氮唑基团的四氧杂杯[2]芳烃[2]嘧啶衍生物(5a^5d),其结构经1H MNR,13C MNR和HR-MS(ESI)表征。采用MTT法研究了5a^5d对人宫颈癌细胞(Hela),人乳腺癌细胞(MCF-7),人肝癌细胞(HepG2)和人肺癌细胞(A549)的体外抗肿瘤活性。结果表明:化合物5a对MCF-7具有明显的抑制活性,在50μM浓度下抑制率可达82%,优于阳性对照药5-氟尿嘧啶。     

Helic[6]arene-Based Chiral Pseudo[1]rotaxanes and [1]Rotaxanes

Chiral pseudo[1]rotaxanes and [1]rotaxanes constructed from macrocyclic arenes still remain a big challenge mainly owing to the lack of such chiral macrocycles. In this work, a new system of chiral pseudo[1]rotaxanes formed by self-inclusion of helic[6]arene containing amide linked with the terminal tertiary amines was first discovered. Based on an atom-economic stopping strategy, a pair of chiral [1]rotaxanes were conveniently obtained in almost quantitative yields by blocking the pseudo[1]rotaxanes with monobenzyl bromide of tetraphenylethene. The structures of pseudo[1]rotaxanes and [1]rotaxanes were characterized by 2D NMR spectra in solution, combined with DFT calculations. The photophysical properties further revealed the efficient chirality transfer of helic[6]arene to the tetraphenylethene moiety, compared to their unthreaded chiral isomers. The discovery of the chiral pseudo[1]rotaxanes allows for a wide and available synthesis of chiral [1]rotaxanes, and also opening a new avenue to the design of chiral supramolecular materials.

o-Thioquinones on [2.2]paracyclophanes: an example of totally stereocontrolled hetero Diels-Alder reactions

The reaction of 4-hydroxy[2.2]paracyclophane with phthalimidesulfenyl chloride allowed the preparation of a suitable precursor for a paracyclophane-o-thioquinone. This species participates in an inverse electron demand hetero Diels-Alder reaction with different electron-rich alkenes to give the expected benzoxathiin cycloadducts with complete control of regio- and stereochemistry.     

Theoretical Studies on the Intermolecular Interactions of Aza-calix[2]arene[2]-triazines with RDX

Six fully optimized structures of the aza-calix[2]arene[2]-triazines/RDX supramo-lecular complexes have been obtained at the DFT-B3LYP/6-311++G** level,and the corresponding intermolecular interactions have been investigated using the B3LYP,mPWPW91 and MP2 methods at the 6-311++G** level,respectively.The natural bond orbital(NBO) and atoms in molecules(AIM) analyses have been performed to reveal the origin of interactions.To our interest,the result indicates that the strongest interaction is up to -22.34 kJ/mol after basis set superposition error(BSSE) and zero point energy(ZPE) correction at the MP2/6-311++G** level.Furthermore,the intermolecular interactions between aza-calix[2]arene[2]-triazines with the substituted amidos and RDX are stronger than those of other complexes.Thus,the complexes with amidos can be used as the candidates to increase the stability of explosive and eliminate the explosive wastewater.     

2-吡啶基咪唑并[1,2-a]吡啶的水中合成

2-乙酰基吡啶1经溴化反应后得到2-(2-溴乙酰基)吡啶氢溴酸盐2,2在水中与NaHCO3发生中和反应生成2-(2-溴乙酰基)吡啶,不经分离直接于水中和2-氨基吡啶衍生物3a-3h反应生成2-吡啶基咪唑并[1,2-a]吡啶4a-4h.采用核磁共振谱仪、红外光谱仪及质谱仪表征了产物的结构.结果表明,利用该方法可以在温和的反应条件下高产率得到目标产物,且方法操作简便、对环境友好.     

2-芳基苯并[b]呋喃衍生物的生物活性与合成策略

2-芳基苯并呋喃是一类广泛存在于植物中的化合物,具有良好的抗病毒、抗肿瘤、抗真菌、抗氧化等生物活性,一直以来都引起人们的广泛关注.综述了近年来2-芳基苯并呋喃类化合物的研究进展,重点介绍其生物活性和合成方法,尤其是苯并呋喃环的构建方法.     

Synthesis of hexahydro[2]benzopyrano[4,3-c]pyridines as serotonin 5-HT2C receptor agonists via intramolecular hetero Diels-Alder reactions

Hexahydro[2]benzopyrano[4,3-c]pyridines were synthesized by an intramolecular hetero Diels-Alder reaction. The reaction was applicable to a range of substrates and the products could be easily converted into serotonin 5-HT_2C receptor agonists.     

Stable pillar [5] arene-based pseudo [1] rotaxanes formed in polar solution

Mono-alkyl-functionalized pillar[5] arenes P1,P2,and P3 were synthesized by click reaction,which exhibited different self-assembly behavior in polar solvent DMSO.Stable pseudo [1] rotaxane was formed by the self-complexation from P1 or P2,whereas,concentration-dependent pseudorotaxane structures were generated by P3 which bearing more flexible side chain.Interestingly,the obtained pseudo[1] rotaxanes exhibited a dynamic fast assembly process upon adding NaBF₄,resulting in the formation of Na⁺-induced pseudorotaxanes.     

Self-assembly of Novel Hetero[3]rotaxane,[2]Rotaxanes and [2]Catenane

One linear template 13 and one cyclophane template 15, both incorporating two electron rich 1,4-dialkoxybenzene units and one diamide unit, have been synthesized. By utilizing donor-acceptor interaction and/or intermolecular hydrogen bonding assembling principles, one novel hetero[3]rotaxane 22·4Cl, possessing one neutral and one tetracationic ring components, has been synthesized from 13, through neutral [2]rotaxane 21 as intermediate. With 15 as template, tetracationic [2]catenane 23·4PF6 was assembled by using donor-acceptor interaction, but no neutral [2]rotaxane could be obtained under the typical conditions of hydrogen bonding assembling principle. The interlocked supramolecular compounds have been characterized and their spectral properties are investigated.     

Synthesis of hexahydro[2]benzopyrano[3,4-c]pyrroles as serotonin 5-HT2C receptor agonists via intramolecular hetero Diels-Alder reactions

[2]Benzopyrano[3,4-c]pyrroles were synthesized via an intramolecular hetero Diels-Alder reaction. The reaction was applicable to a wide range of substrates and the products could be easily converted into serotonin 5-HT_2C receptor agonists.     

Theophylline as a new and green catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of spiro[benzo[a]pyrano[2,3-c]phenazine] and benzo[a]pyrano[2,3-c]phenazine derivatives under solvent-free conditions

A green, convenient, high yielding and one-pot procedure for the synthesis of novel spiro[benzo[a]pyrano[2,3-c]phenazine] derivatives by domino multi-component condensation reaction between 2-hydroxynaphthalene-1,4-dione, benzene-1,2-diamines, ninhydrine, and malononitrile in the presence of a catalytic amount of 1,3-dimethyl-7H-purine-2,6-dione (theophylline) as an expedient, eco-friendly and reusable solid base catalyst under thermal, microwave irradiation and solvent-free conditions. This procedure has also been applied successfully for the synthesis of benzo[a]pyrano[2,3-c]phenazines.     

Reaction of ene-bis(phosphinylallenes): [2+2] versus [4+2] cycloaddition

Reaction of ene-bis(phosphinylallenes), derived from ene-bis(propargyl alcohols) and chlorodiphenylphosphine, was investigated. Benzene-bridged bis(phosphinylallenes) exclusively gave intramolecular [2+2] cycloadducts in the presence of dimethyl fumarate in sharp contrast to the reaction of benzene-bridged bis(sulfinylallenes), which gave the corresponding [4+2] cycloadducts. On the other hand, substituted ethylene- or five-membered heterocycle-bridged bis(phosphinylallenes) provided [4+2] cycloadducts. Reaction of benzene-bridged diallene bearing both a sulfinyl group and a phosphinyl group on the two allenyl groups was also described.     

簇合物[Et4N]2[Mo2S4(SCH2CH2S)2]的合成及其结构研究

以(NH4)2MoS4,Et4NBr,HSCH2CH2SH为原料,合成出[Et4N]2[Mo2S4(SCH23CH2S)2]簇合物,用X射线衍射法测定了晶胞结构.其晶胞参数为a=1.0304(8)nm,b=1.4158(8)nm,c=1.1417(1)nm,V=1.63801nm3,Z=4,晶体属单斜晶系,晶体结构经块状矩阵最小二乘法修正后,最终偏离因子R=0.089.此外还进行了红外光谱,紫外可见光谱的测定.
