对单位圆上关于有限正Ｂｏｒｅｌ测度的正交多项式导数的渐近性质的研究在七十年代已有所结果和突破，如熟知的Ｓｚｅｇｏｅ理论等。然而对其微分性质的分析和讨论并不算多，即使如此，也只是限于考虑单位圆上正交多项式的某些特殊类型＾［４］。本文证明单位圆上正交多项式序列的导数仍然是单位圆上正交多项式序列，并给出它们与相关微分方程之间的一些关系。

A characterization of affine length and asymptotic approximation of convex discs

It is shown that every equi-affine invariant and upper semicontinuous valuation on the space of convex discs is a linear combination of the Euler characteristic, area, and affine length. Asymptotic formulae for approximation of convex discs by polygons are derived, extending results of L. Fejes Tóth from smooth convex discs to general convex discs.     

Simulation and Analysis of Thermal Fatigue Based on Imperfection Model of Brake Discs

A non-linear FEM model of brake discs of high-speed trains with thermal-mechanical coupling has been established in ANSYS. The simulation and analysis of 3-D transient temperature field and stress field of brake discs have been carried out for the braking process. According to typical imperfections of brake discs, some imperfection models of brake discs have been developed and the thermal stresses of different models are obtained through simulation and analysis. By comparing results of different models, the influence of imperfection parameters, including the position, depth and size, is resulted for the thermal resistance of brake discs. Note on an Inequality of Wegner

Wegner gave a geometric characterization of all so-called Groemer packing of n ≥ 2 unit discs in E ² that are densest packings of n unit discs with respect to the convex hull of the discs. In this paper we provide a number theoretic characterization of all n satisfying that such a "Wegner packing" of n unit discs exists, and show that the proportion of these n is 23/24 among all natural numbers.

It is well-known that Teichmüller discs that pass through “integer points” of the moduli space of abelian differentials are very special: they are closed complex geodesics. However, the structure of these special Teichmüller discs is mostly unexplored: their number, genus, area, cusps, etc. We prove that in genus two all translation surfaces inH(2) tiled by a prime numbern>3 of squares fall into exactly two Teichmüller discs, only one of them with elliptic points, and that the genus of these discs has a cubic growth rate inn.     

The visibility graph of congruent discs is Hamiltonian

We show that the visibility graph of a set of disjoint congruent discs in is Hamiltonian, as long as the discs are not all supported by the same line. The proof is constructive, and leads to efficient algorithms for obtaining a Hamilton circuit.     

On random complete packing by discs

Summary A computational algorithm for random complete packing by discs is proposed. Monte Carlo simulations using this algorithm give the value 0.5473 for random packing density of discs. It greatly improves the Solomon's result, 04756. The Institute of Statistical Mathematics     

Filling Real Hypersurfaces by Pseudoholomorphic Discs

We study pseudoholomorphic discs with boundaries attached to a real hypersurface E in an almost complex manifold. We give sufficient conditions for filling a one-sided neighborhood of E by the discs.
