This article is based on a lecture presented at the Analytica Conference, where the basic principles for evaluating and expressing the uncertainty of analytical measurements, as set out in the guides published by ISO and EURACHEM, were reviewed, and the inventory of procedures and tools for effective implementation of these principles was examined. While the emphasis in the lecture was on basic principles, this article presents a more detailed elaboration of one of the main practical procedures outlined in the lecture: direct determination of uncertainty and handling of bias. 相似文献

During the past 10 years the “Magic chemistry” lecture was conducted in Erlangen. Due to an increasing professionalization of the lecture and especially the underlying information concept, we could emphasize the seriousness of this event. 高分子物理是一门物理课,其内涵为高分子物质的结构、结构演变与各层次结构单元的运动规律,而非聚合物的"结构与性能"关系.这门课为解释结构与性能关系提供基础概念与理论,但不是"结构与性能"关系本身.这样的定位决定了高分子物理课不应采用系统教学法,而应当采用逻辑教学法,即从一个不证自明的公理(逻辑起点)出发,沿着一条主线,依次导出、建立全部理论体系.在高分子物理中,这个逻辑起点就是长链结构,主线就是熵弹性.故该门课程应按熵弹性这条主线展开.对现行高分子物理课程内容进行分析,大多数内容均可用熵弹性的主线串起来,另外少部分内容也与熵弹性有密切关系.应根据这两点对现行课程体系与教学方法进行改造,为课程各项内容之间建立逻辑关系,方便学生的学习与应用. 相似文献

This is a summary of a lecture presented at the 100th Anniversary, Moissan Symposium in Paris on Friday, 10 November 2006. The lecture highlighted recent developments on the enzyme structure, mechanism and biotransformation prospects of the fluorinase enzyme identified in 2002 from the bacterium Streptomyces cattleya. Over-expression of the enzyme has allowed it to be used as a catalyst for 18F-incorporation during the synthesis of potential ligands for positron emission tomography (PET) applications. 相似文献

Every year at the start of the winter semester at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen‐Nürnberg, the lecture „Chemical Magic Tricks”︁ is held. In time and due to generation changes, the nature of this event has changed. From a classical experimental lecture it was transformed into a multi media show, which is very popular among the public and even made its way into television. natural as the early history of Analytical Chemistry is so much dominated by the works of the Swedish chemist Torbern Bergman.
An interesting source at early lecture experiments are the books on natural magic, which were very popular in the 17 th and
18 th centuries. These books contain recipes for household remedies mingled with scientific observations. From the 18 th century
most of the examples have been taken from Torbern Bergman’s works.

Summary On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Warsaw lecture of M. S. Tswett representing the first report on the chromatographic technique, this two-part article outlines the evolution of the method. This part deals with Tswett's early work in 1899–1901 and his research in 1901–1903 leading to the lecture at Warsaw. The second part will deal with the fundamental twin papers of 1906, with his book of 1910, summarizing all his activities related to the investigation of plant pigments and to the development of chromatography, and with a few special questions related to Tswett's scientific activities in this field.Part II of this article will be published in the next month's issue ofChromatographia. 相似文献
