Exact solutions of the atmospheric (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear incompressible non-hydrostatic Boussinesq (INHB) equations are researched by Combining function expansion and symmetry method. By function expansion, several expansion coefficient equations are derived. Symmetries and similarity solutions are researched in order to obtain exact solutions of the INHB equations. Three types of symmetry reduction equations and similarity solutions for the expansion coefficient equations are proposed. Non-traveling wave solutions for the INHB equations are obtained by symmetries of the expansion coefficient equations. Making traveling wave transformations on expansion coefficient equations, we demonstrate some traveling wave solutions of the INHB equations. The evolutions on the wind velocities, temperature perturbation and pressure perturbation are demonstrated by figures, which demonstrate the periodic evolutions with time and space. 相似文献

With the aid of the classical Lie group method and nonclassical Lie group method, we derive the classical Lie point symmetry and the nonclassical Lie point symmetry of (2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton (BS) equation. Using the symmetries, we find six classical similarity reductions and two nonclassical similarity reductions of the BS equation. Varieties of exact solutions of the BS equation are obtained by solving the reduced equations. 相似文献

In this paper, the direct symmetry method is extended to the Lax pair of the ANNV equation. As a result, symmetries of the Lax pair and the ANNV equation are obtained at the same time. Applying the obtained symmetry, the (2+1)-dimensional Lax pair is reduced to (1+1)-dimensional Lax pair, whose compatibility yields the reduction of the ANNV equation. Based on the obtained reductions of the ANNV equation, a lot of new exact solutions for the ANNV equation are found. This shows that for an integrable system, both the symmetry and the reductions can be obtained through its corresponding Lax pair. 相似文献

The Lax–Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation is derived from the Lax fifth order equation, which is an important mathematical model in fluid physics and quantum field theory. By using the standard symmetry reduction method, the gray/dark solitons and periodic waves (gray/dark soliton lattice) are analytically studied for the nonlinear optical media with periodic nonlocal response. It is found that there are two critical points for the quantity β ≡ wm2/w02, the multiplication of the square of the wave number (1/w0) and the strength (wm2) of the nonlocality both for the soliton and periodic solutions. The soliton solution exists only for β ≤ 1/4 and the soliton is a double well gray soliton for β > 1/8 while it is a single well gray soliton for β ≤ 1/8. The soliton is dark only for β = 1/4, otherwise it is a gray soliton. Similar critical points exist for the gray/dark soliton lattice solutions. 相似文献

The symmetries and the exact solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear incompressible non-hydrostatic Boussinesq (INHB) equations, which describe atmospheric gravity waves, are studied in this paper. The calculation on symmetry shows that the equations are invariant under the Galilean transformations, the scaling transformations, and the space-time translations. Three types of symmetry reduction equations and similar solutions for the (3+1)-dimensional INHB equations are proposed. Traveling and non-traveling wave solutions of the INHB equations are demonstrated. The evolutions of the wind velocities in latitudinal, longitudinal, and vertical directions with space-time are demonstrated. The periodicity and the atmosphere viscosity are displayed in the (3+1)-dimensional INHB system. 相似文献

A new approach is presented by means of a new general ansitz and some relations among Jacobian elliptic functions, which enables one to construct more new exact solutions of nonlinear differential-difference equations. As an example, we apply this new method to Hybrid lattice, diseretized mKdV lattice, and modified Volterra lattice.
